I bought the pineapple template a few years ago and finally tried using it today. I found it very confusing so I searched RUclips and found your channel and tutorial. So much easier to follow than the template. I downloaded your pattern and am going to start my quilt. At least I didn’t use my good fabric, only scraps to practice the template with!😊 Thank you for the help!

This is awesome. I like simple. Not having to use template or rulers is my kind of block. Have you looked at Tiffany’s pineapple quilt she did in 10/22. It is also very simple and quite easy for beginners. Makes a great one piece

Very pretty! I wonder if a flying geese ruler would help on trimming that first round. I know you wanted "no specialty ruler", but many people are likely to already have one. Thank you fir all the great content! I enjoy your channel.

Very lovely block. I made a pineapple quilt this spring and used coloring pages to plan my quilt top and I think it turned out fabulously. I did not use specialty tools and I felt like I had to use lots of brain power to make the blocks. Wish I had had this tutorial to assist me.

Today I woke up this morning had a dream of how my late mum(rip) was showing me her pineapple guilt pillow cases and it’s broke my heart how I really wanted to do it, thinking she wants me to pass it on the the next generation of our family.
So I can’t afford to get all these tools but wonder if anyone help me with measurements for I may try to’ manually cut a pattern please
