  • Make a Pineapple quilt with lots of pizazz and none of the stress!
This video goes along with Deb’s Peach Melba pattern and shows Deb’s way of making the Pineapple block; which means we'll make the blocks bigger and trim them down using the Large Square Squared tool. It's a revolutionary process that's less time consuming that paper foundation piecing, and both easier and more accurate than precision piecing. Sit back and learn a bit about the Pineapple process before you just jump right in!

I'm working on Peach Melba now and love how this method works. I always wanted to do a pineapple quilt, but all that paper piecing was keeping me from doing it. This method is wonderful.

Your method is one of several I've watched. None of the others claim perfection, but I see how you achieved it. This is great for people with good memories, but at 75, mine's not so good. I would definitely recommend this to younger quilters than myself. Having absolutely perfect points is such a great feeling when you've finished a project! :)

Yikes.. I just realized how it's possible a quilter can have 50 or more rulers. Your videos have helped me more than anything. I really appreciate your knowledge and your rulers thank you. 💗

We did not actually turn the demo blocks into a quilt. We saved them for future teaching events. We picked the colors as they showed the lines really well for the video purposes. All the color combinations that we have seen look amazing.

This was the first block I wanted to do before I could quilt. Maybe if I get my hands on these rulers I may be in with a chance (uk)

The Peach Melba pattern can only be done with the Large Square Square tool. If you used the original you would only get one round or two rounds of the pineapple block. There is only one size block for this technique 12". If you have any other questions please let me know.

This really isn’t that hard people. You’re just switching back and forth and repeating each time.
