Yes I agree thank you for all the effort you put into these tutorials,,you are such an inspiring teacher, kind regards Heather from Melbourne Australia 😊🌹🇳🇿
Thank you so much! Love the app and especially the worksheet what a great idea. What a game changer the worksheet is. The way you show us how to get everything cut and prepped helps make the piecing so much more efficient. Thanks for all you do and share with us
I'm so glad you included the pineapple trim tool instructions. Although I have the 12 inch trim ruler your clear instructions for the 9 inch block will help me immensely! I've watched several videos on the ruler you used and by far yours is more informative, especially for organization. Thank you for taking the "hesitation" out of using the pineapple tool.
I am SO grateful for this video, Carol. I have the same ruler and wasted aLOT of fabric trying to figure out how to use it correctly. I'm a visual learner and just could not follow the written instructions. After watching you teach this, I feel confident that I can do this! Thank you! (Now I just have to find the ruler, as I vaguely recall "storing" it somewhere in frustration..🤔)
I know what you mean. I always put stuff "in a safe place". Trouble is there are too many safe places around here! LOL Thanks for watching and good luck with your project.
Thanks, Carol for sharing tips & links to the apps for determining fabric requirements as well as cutting, organization tips and multiple methods/tools. It is worth the extra time in the video to learn these steps esp. for new quilters. I appreciate that about your tutorials. As usual, I love the fabrics used.
I love the lessons you give us. Unfortunately, I don't have the tool you use to determine fabrics. I buy more fabric than called for to allow for cutting errors. Keep up the.good work. You make it all look so easy.❤
Thank you for such a detailed video. I like how you zoom in really close to show the various points on the ruler. That block is as complicated as it looks. After that demonstration I’m not sure which is easier. The ruler reminds me of the log cabin ruler. It’s easy to have a wrong cut if the wrong trimming square is chosen. Had too much experience in that department.😅😢
Which method do you prefer? Accuquilt, papers or ruler? Since you have experience with all three I’m very curious which method you find easiest. Thank you for the meticulous videos. They are much appreciated.
Hands down, I liked the AccuQuilt method the best. Easier to cut and piece. I have done so much paper piecing I don't really want to do any more at all!! The ruler would be my second choice. Thanks for watching.
I'm not sure. but I think it will because we trim each round. When you make your test block, do enough rounds to make a 6" square then measure it. At that point it should be 6-1/2" square. Let us know if you try it! Thanks for watching.
I should have paid more attention in math class. I was able to graduate without learning fractions or any algebra courses. Public teaching at its finest in the 80's.
Thank you for explaining all the methods and tools for making the pineapple block! It all makes so much sense!
You are so welcome!

I would love to help you but you will need to let me know specifically what you need.
Is it possible to use 2.5” strips instead of 1.75”?

Love the block but I don’t want to buy another ruler.
