Agreed! Almost every restaurant he likes Ive added to my Yelp list. I thought I was going to run to Carversteak first at Resorts World, but nope- it’s gonna be Wallys.
Beautiful! I was looking forward to this video and you did not disappoint! I don't know if I never picked up on it before but the flowing motion of your food shots instead of just holding the camera static adds so much to the presentation...thanks!
great video, big fan of Wally's! We either start or end every trip there, and have always had a great experience! One thing that did not come across on your video was how much they specialize in charcuterie board...they have a choice of 3 or 5 (mix 'n' match meat and cheese) and it's elevated and always phenomenal...if you go back, make sure to show a picture or video of the menu... I saw the pizza on our last trip and was very tempted, but I knew I was going to get a slice or two at Mulberry St which I love...my wife is a big fan of Wally's truffle gnocchi...she is a trained chef from the CIA and it's one of her favorite pasta dishes anywhere...great review, makes me want to go back asap!
We thought about eating there while we were there last week but ended up at Otoro at Mirage since we were going to see Love. We did eat at Nomad Library and got their $100 Nomad Chicken, it was amazing as well , I would be very interested to compare the two. Great review as always James, one can never go wrong taking notes from your videos. 👍👍
Thanks as always for your reviews James. Already got a reservation for Atelier de Joel Rubichon for my upcoming trip, looks like I’m adding Wally’s to the list as well.
Yessss! No lies here brother! We ordered the chicken but was informed it would take about 50 minutes and we were pressed for time...if i only knew!! We had a memorable time there in mid November!
Excellent video buddy...All that food looked like they knew what they were doing 👍....the real question is how many women do you pick up when you go on these solo escapades 😉
James- another epic review! Coming out there this Wednesday for 7 nights . 3 at Cosmo and 4 at Palazzo. My fifth trip this year. I’ve had a blast watching your videos - and then going to your recommended bars, restaurants and hotels. I’ve become a big Palazzo fan as per your guidance. I’ve tried most of your restaurants reviewed by you. Will now be trying this awesome place, too! Thank you for the best content on RUclips , Take care Eric from Traverse City
@@Coolist As a former hockey player, I’m guessing you visited Traverse City for hockey tournaments? I attend the Detroit Red Wings training camp games here every year have lots of fun meeting the players
Great vid, I want that chicken so bad! And the pizza. Also, great taste in cologne. I haven’t smelled it in years but I loved Aventus so hard when it first came out.
Looks good, i always try to plan for one "extravagant" meal when i take vacations I'll definitely consider Wally's on my next Vegas trip. I went crazy on my last trip to Vegas and got a table at Joel Robuchon in MGM Grand meal was phenomenal.
Love it! That pizza looked like a pizza I would get forever. Holy, did that thing look amazing. I might have to roll to get that when I'm there next weekend.
I really really like your videos. I like that you go straight to the subject. Not a drawn out talk about blah blah blah. I like that you speak personable about where you attend and what you like and do not like. I am in Vegas for Christmas Week. Anything special to eat and drink on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day ??

Yo bro. I've yet to come across an Oregon Pinot that I've loved (only tolerated). People will make the "same latitude, same experience" argument, but I just haven't witnessed, yet...
Wow! for you to compliment their pizza like you did says a lot! Also I’m kind of surprised that the bill was under $500 considering the wines & $100 chicken
I know people are always giving Resorts World a hard time because they are a bit off of the strip, but when I go to Vegas, I go to Resorts World for the food options. I think that they and Park MGM have the best restaurants on The Strip. I can´t wait to try Wally's.
Yo - SF aka Day 1 in the house…. What’s up bro? After interacting with you over the past few years, I can’t think of an LV restaurant better geared for you.

Tried the truffle chicken just now. Literally walking out the door as I write this. My experience was not good. Chicken had a burnt overcooked taste. Sent it back and thankfully they removed it from the bill. Would not recommend based on my experience
Coolist, maybe you got the VIP treatment or something. But I tried the chicken recently there was only half or less of the truffle shaving on my order compared to yours.
Nah, they have no clue who I am. I go in inconspicuously. Most likely, they've scaled back the expensive ingredients and overall presentation to keep costs at $100 (crazy inflation on food prices).
This is actually a great question and I thought the same thing when I first saw it. They were so fresh that they tasted more light/neutral than pungent/fishy
I talk about this a lot periodically throughout my vlogs. I am always at these places solo and I usually finish 80-90% of the food - the rest comes with me. In this specific case, the chicken came back with me and fed me for the next couple days…
@@Coolist I'm not really into the politics of haute cuisine but I found it pretty entertaining. Dominique Crenn was consulting on the movie and I bet she has plenty to say. 😆 I think you'll enjoy it unless you are squeamish about horror movies.

You should be very upset - the truffles finish the dish and are a vital/apex part of the experience. Big disappointment and should’ve been a big discount
Was looking good until you showed them pouring the wine through one of those measuring devices. Come.on, high end restaurant? Pour the wine the proper way without that device.
Resorts World was off my list based on absurd prices, but this series of vlogs has changed my opinion about Resorts World, and Wally's will be top of my list on my next trip to Las Vegas.

I made a vlog on it specifically - it's in my 30 days in Vegas series
These prices are pretty fair considering this is very high end cuisine. That chicken could feed two easily.
yum
Enough food for 4 people, so if you break it down to $125/person, that's great value. Haha

That $100 chicken looks great and honestly if you split it with 1 or 2 people then the cost isn't that absurd by Vegas standards.
That's the way I see it. It feeds three people easily, perhaps even four.
