Not sure if you'll see this comment... But I have been hoping to see someone take a poll or do some research on what are the top or best in Vegas, "actual menu items to order" like a specific appetizer at one place, or a specific entree at another, or a specific dessert. Then it would be a video like an actual scavenger hunt of the "absolute best of the best things to eat in Vegas", and not just based on the entire restaurant. Would be great to see you be the first to make a video like that 👍 Each time we go to Vegas I always think of how many meals we are going to be eating during that trip, and that's the limited number of chances we have to hopefully find something great and not be let down, it's much better to go to a restaurant just to order only the specific items that are their best and then move on to the next. Keep up the great videos!
I’m surprised I haven’t seen many videos focusing on Chinatown. When I travel to Vegas it’s the most affordable option with some really great places to eat.
We're about to go for a trip in the next few weeks and I have been trying to learn more about vegas, your videos have all been wonderful! Thank you Ruby!
I have 4 trips booked for 2024 and have made a list of places I want to eat, Fuhu made my list. Videos like this are perfect for me to see things I would not know about. I only went in to Resorts World once. I will definitely eat at Fuhu now.
Love your videos Mrs. Ruby. You had a different experience than we did at Vic and Anthony's steak house. We always stay at the Golden Nugget before they opened Circa. I found their food or steak lacking in seasoning. For us, we preferred Hugo's cellar right there on Fremont. I thought it could have been an off day, but experienced the same thing at Vic and Anthony's at the Golden Nugget in Louisiana. Regardless, I hope you continue doing the great videos you and Mr. Ruby provide for us. Great job kiddo. I'm going to have to try Fuhu, normally we now stay at Green Valley Ranch or Red Rock Casino since we have been going to Las Vegas before you were born, and before downtown Freemont had the canopy and the Tropicana was the last casino at the end of the strip.
Great video! I appreciate that you included the pricing. As someone who caught the last of the "mob" days of Vegas in the early 80s I'll not be going back to Vegas until the next "rebirth" of the city. The rebirth of value. If I want to get screwed that bad for a great meal I don't need to get on a plane and fly halfway around the country. I’m blessed to have memories when Vegas was true greatness.
You're probably right that Vegas was probably much better, and definitely more affordable, but it's still worth going to if you go with the right people, or if you just bring high spirits and impossible dreams with you, should still be worth going.
Haven't been to Las Vegas in a while. Favorite downtown buffett was Main Street Station. Another good place I liked was The Great Buffett at Sam's Town. Sometimes if I worked an overnight shift I'd be near Flamingo Rd. and take the bus to Sam's Town at Boulder Highway and have breakfast there.
I liked when you had some reviews that highlighted spots that were off strip, like the Imperial Buffet and Krazy Buffet. Perhaps maybe you could do a series or highlight some spots away from the strip for some local gems? We usually try to find new spots away from all the activity for cheaper eats when we visit, would love to see your favorites.
What a great video with all these awesome restaurants. You guys are living the dream life with your jobs being visiting awesome Vegas restaurants and making videos about it!
Another fantastic video. I love your slots channel, but the Travel Ruby channel is by far my favorite for Vegas hotels and restaurants. I've tried and stayed numerous places based on your videos.
What was the criteria for selecting these specific restaurants? This list feels a bit too steakhouse-heavy, and frankly, like a paid ad. As a frequent Vegas visitor from LA, I love going off strip and trying new things (especially all the AYCE sushi options!). But the typical visitor won’t go into Summerlin on one of their only two nights, so I’m not sure how helpful that is for most people. All that said, I love all the videos!
Ruby we love your videos! Thanks so much for the great info. Your videos are professional, succinct, and super helpful! Our family will be out there in June so thank you again!!
We watched one of youe videos back in January and tried 2 of your restaurant recommendations... Picasso and Crossroads. Two very different menus, but we loved them both, so thank you ❤
thanks ruby! on our last visit to Vegas we went to al solito posto...we had almost all your recommendations..loved the duck raviolis...love your vids...keep 'em comin'..
Ms. Ruby & Mr. Ruby Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are traveling to Vegas late March of 2024. We wanted to do 1 fancy dinner night. Your places are right on and gives us some options to decide on. You were the first RUclipsr I saw when I researched Vegas. Hope to bump into y’all on our trip and hopefully grab a pic. Again Thank you so much for all the videos , very much informative and appreciated.
@travelruby thanks so much for recommending Al Solito Posto restaurant we tried it today for birthday dinner , it was really Grt. Coming from Canada we wouldn’t know this awesome place. Thanks 🎉
The new dinner and show at Joel's Chophouse inside Ahern Hotel is a best kept secret! All I can say is WOW--I've had their steaks and have seen the show. A true Las Vegas experience is what you get and the customer service is some of the best I've experienced.
I never stayed but we did visit the pool which at the time was state of the art( before the Mirage). Follies Bregere was great! Siegfried and Roy were the magic act. Tropicana closing is the end of an era, really sad. Only the Flamingo is left. I also stayed at The Dunes, Frontier, and Stardust. Great memories of when Vegas was Vegas!
@@Yaw_Jr yep! We really liked Hussong's cantina in Mandalay Bay for Mexican food. International Smoke in MGM Grand was good. Good Pie for pizza in the Arts District was awesome. My personal favorite for a sandwich was Greenberg's Deli in New York New York. Flights was a great value for what you get and the food was pretty good. Trying to think what else (we did go to Bacchanal on one of the days. That was good, but was it worth 87 a person? I think if you went tere for the crab legs and the meat, yes. Otherwise not really.). We're definitely going back next year same time! Planning much earlier though this time!
love all your videos! and hope to count one of these restaurants on our next trip to Vegas sidenote does anyone know what song is playing in the background from 2:15-2:45??
Hey Ruby!! Just recently subscribed to your travel and am loving all your tips, tricks, and content for Vegas!! Anyway, I thought I'd leave my question here on your 2024 fave restaurants. But have you and Mr. Ruby ever tried the Blackout Dining? We've been told by some friends to do it the next time we visit Vegas but I wanted to see if you have done it! Thanks!!
That’s why u should only go if u have a comped room or free play. I’m going Wednesday for a night. Comped room. And I have $25 comped food and $15 free play at silverton. I also live in LA so it’s not a long drive.
@SAsh-zg6ln agreed. Got 50 dollar free play ready at MGM. Got the room in advance so it was cheaper. It can still be affordable if you're smart about it
You did a good job. Can you do a list of nice restaurants who's entrees are mostly under $35. Can you also do a list of nice restaurants that have a pre-fixe menu under $45 or $50. I know that it isn't easy to find on the strip, but it would be very helpful for me and many other followers. I look at many RUclips channels and they didn't cover this area very well. Anyone can find restaurants that charges $100 for a steak. I have confidence in you that you could do this. If other followers are interested in these topics, please make a comment to RUBY. THANKS, BOB(NYC FIREFIGHTER)
Ruby, I love your videos; they are so well done. I don't know when I'll get back to Vegas but one cuisine that I find impossible to fine and I don't know why: Indian. Whether sit down or buffet, Indian food seems to be the one major international cuisine that is missing from hotel/casinos, food courts etc. Why is that?
Haven't been to Vegas since our daughter was a baby and we went to see Celine Dion. She is 20 now so 18 years ago. We don't gamble at all so the casinos are of no interest and not big shoppers, but your videos make me want to go for the food divine!
Hey Ruby! We are coming back to Vegas in August - it will be our 5th visit all the way from London! We love watching you and hope to bump into you on one of our visits! We would love it if you would do an updated video on Las Vegas pools - which ones you are pay to enter even if you aren’t staying there? I know some you used to be able to access but now if you go on their websites that seems to have changed! Don’t want to plan to go somewhere and then can’t get in 😞 We love watching you and Mr Ruby! The best Vegas content!❤
Echo & Rig at Tivoli Village should be on this list. Their mushroom fries, flank steak, and even salt scrub hand cleaner in the bathrooms is all to die for.
My mom used to make the pear salad, something that was easy for the afternoon parties of the 70's. It was a canned half pear, nestled on top of a pile of salted cottage cheese, on top of lettuce leaves. Then a drizzle of mayonnaise on top, thinned with some of the pear juice. Sounds horrendous but it was classy at the time. I LOVE that it's been classed up all the more and served at a fancy restaurant. I'd order it.
The "wait" at Oyster Bar is an understatement. I've gone twice before... once it was 2 hours and the second time, 3 hours. Most people would not attempt the wait if they knew how long it really was.

My last visit, I went to Lago at The Bellagio! I haven't had a bad meal the 4 times I've been to Vegas....hopefully, I'll be making my 5th visit this year!!
Love, love, love your videos. I was just in LV and we spent a lot of time at GVR though we stay at Silverton Lodge. My new favorite restaurant is now Bottiglia in GVR, we ate there two nights during our week stay in LV. I am not a steak house person so much of what you tend to show (food wise) is a bit meat heavy for me but all the more for everyone else!

What is your favorite Las Vegas Restaurant?
Any place that is Gordon Ramsay!

I haven't been to LV in five years so it's hard to say, but that is why I rely on you for your reviews. Plan on going this October. Thanks Ruby!!
My fav resturant is Lindo michoacan the shrimp chile rellenos are fantastic
I super enjoyed Lawrys.. always good and consistent.. I don't go for the "chic" flash in the pan places.

Lived there for six years as a teacher and am about to return this year for the first time since 2019. Love seeing this!
Love your outfits and makeup Ruby! My husband and I are going this year and I’m already planning where to eat! Thanks for the recommendations 😊❤️
We just ate at two of those in the last week, and totally agree with what you said on Don’s Prime and Sinatra.
these videos are almost Travel Channel quality. your knowledge combined with the quality make this the best city-travel guide channel i’ve seen

I think Mike Chen did a Chinatown in Vegas video
