will this amount of vector hangs up the computer, if working on big file, As it is clear that texture is all vector objects, dealing with bigger files cause problem.

I think it is good to use gradients and add the grain texture from the effects. That will be more satisfying.

Agree. Everyone has there own way of doing it. This is just another way and gives us more control on it. Of course, you are free to create your own way of doing it.

I really appreciate your remarks. Actually, there can be many reasons for slowing down the illustrator workflow. It could be your system RAM, or maybe you are opening heavy files in Illustrator..

Yes you can. You probably need to Expand the shape / object before applying clipping mask.
