The best picture quality is achieved through enabling DLDSR 1.78x and 2.25x + 15% sharpness. In combination with DLSS on Quality and 100% sharpness image gets very clean and sharp. It worked the same way in mw1 2019.
3 mildly interesting things I found out about the mw2/wz2 engine: 1. The fps limiter has a bug and can only limit the frametime to whole ms numbers (eg 4ms=250fps or 5m=200fps. Nothing in between). 2. If you enable on demand texture streaming: hires textures are downloaded into the xpak_cache folder. They only get used when texture resolution is set to normal or high. They will be used even if you disable on demand texture streaming. You can safely delete the entire xpak_cache folder. Sadly some skins only have very low, low and on demand textures making them ugly even on normal/high settings. 3. The MW2 Benchmark performance and VRAM usage does not correlate well to the actual WZ2 Al Mazrah map. 150/100 players is much more cpu intense, which can easily flip the bottleneck. Additionally VRAM usage is much higher since the map is much much bigger. The interesting thing is the texture resolution setting seems to cap out at certain VRAM ceilings: Very low=8gb, low=12gb, normal=16gb?, high=24gb???. I'm uncertain at high since I dont own a 4090. Anyway thanks for reading!
You're absolutely right , people will always get more fps in the benchmark than in Al Mazrah, this is even true on Vondle or Ashika compared to Al Mazrah just because the GPU has less to render in. This is why people always look at the sky to show how many fps they can get when they're in a pi$$ing contest
For some reason whatever upscaling filter I use my FPS is hard stuck at 70-90fps in Al Mazrah. I have a R7 3700X & 3060 and I play on 1080p all low settings. Could the additional players making battle royale more cpu intensive be the reason for my lack of fps? I've tried everything and looked everywhere but seeing your comment that made me have this idea.

A shot in the dark, do you know perhaps a setting that solves the problem of Dev Error 6068 with spotter scope on AMD cards? There are a few places on the map where using spotter scope has a ~20% chance of a dev error when a player/bot comes out from behind a tree. Tested on all drivers, WeatherGridVolumesQuality on Low(sic!) was fixing it in S02, now it is not working anymore. 6 months the game crashes when I use spotter scope.... Yeah that happens to me too... Not sure if there are just more players at the start of the season lading to higher server loads
Setting spot cache to low and turning off MSI Afterburner helped me with this. Unfortunately I get good servers and bad servers…
fsr 2.0 have bug with ground white glow looks so bad, its like that for 3 seasons that's why I switched to fsr 1.0 for now
How do u guys actually boost ur fps with these, mine stays at like average 110 fps literally no matter what I put, ultra quality, balanced, performance, ultra performance, still stays the same like not even a +10 fps with ultra performance
I take it you talk about DLSS? I personally would recommend against it and use FSR2.0 instead
@@TechGuides oh ok thx I’ll try it
Why no dlss in the comparison?
Because you can't compare DLSS on a static image and I didn't have the patience to sync up one frame from the benchmark from all the other up-scalers. Also I don't think DLSS is anywhere close to the others in terms of visual clarity
Конечно ждём ещё твоих видео. Всё классно разобрал, боюсь представить сколько ты проделал работы и потратил времени.
Thanks man!
Bump?
Bumper cars!
Seems FSR 2.1 to be the best option overall?
Out of the upscalers for sure. I personally just dont like DLSS in movement
@@TechGuides DLSS is great for still images but suffers in fast movement scenes
The only thing I can never understand well maybe not understand but actually see if is the strength aka sharpening. I wish we could see the difference in real time without going into the game obviously. When in game im not looking at spotting things, killing is my focus lol. I currently run FXCAS, 60, Filmic and AA Normal. I just lowered Cas Strength to 40, no clue if that will make a difference. Maybe zero would be? Any thoughts?
I am running i7 9700K with gtx 1070 ftw, 32GB, Windows 11.
So which would you choose out of all setting categories??
If I want more perf then FSR2.0 Quality. If I want better clearity then FXCAS with Filmic Normal
@@TechGuides so with fsr you’d pick SMAA non FILMIC?
Yes because FSR is smooth enough. I also think Filmic SMAA no longer solves pixelated shadows but I haven't had time to test this yet
@@TechGuides ok cool! Thank you for getting back to me and thank you for all you do! 🫡
And I play as a sniper and it hurts....
i have not gotten dev errors, but my games did crash a lot when using a spotter scope. I also have a AMD card, the RX 6800. After turning off all upscaling, the crashing is gone.
@@mainder11 I use only FSR CAS for sharpening... Game is so blurred without it... Will try turning it off. Im on 6700xt. For me dev error shows after 30s of frozen screen.
@@mainder11 All upscalling disabled, still crashing ;(
@@pofjiosgjsoges Also make sure your Windows and AMD drivers is up to date.
Warzone 2019 gets more work on texture quality
Why do I have only 90-110 fps on 4080, even if the resolution is 640 by 480. The processor is 11700k. In May I had 150-170fps in qhd
I have 4070TI and in Al MAzrah I have....110-135...cannot have more...don't know why. I should have :)

What is the best performance/quality for a setup with 5600G 16Gb and Gtx 1660Ti? Btw: My monitor is 60Hz soo I don't need much fps
If you are playing competively, you want to turn down the graphics settings as far as is useful to you... with less work to do, it speeds up your GPU. As long as you have a good network connection, and gaming mouse/trackball/keyboard/controller - your lag should decrease allowing you to enjoy faster response time and better performance. For The Wins ! 😀
Let’s go !!! ❤
all of that just because activision chose to put smaa in the game....
dlss better than all with high texture
You need to know that if you have 1080p monitor - all the down scaling makes the game look terrible. You can get away with 1440p.
The "quality" presets are generally fine (I've played a bunch on them at 1080p) but I agree the lower ones are horrible
NIS is best
my GPU is about to burn
nah you will never get 120+ fps with youre second system i got r5 5600x 3060 12gb oc so much better and only get 120 fps with low and dlss performance makes no sense
At 1080p and in the benchmark? Sure thing man
@@TechGuides Benchmark is not the same as ingame
PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR A COMEPETIVE GAMER OR A PRO GAMER, this fake frames generated by AI, only creates double the lag! LAG LIKE A MF....!!!
Welcome back
Cheers man!
Bump
Literally makes no difference on my system if I run all high or low settings with or without upscaling and sharpening My FPS is always 110-120. This game is just terrible.
What PC specs do you have? Are you running your RAM at its rated (XMP) speed?
i5 12600k, 3070 and 32GB 4000Mhz DDR4 Ram.@@TechGuides
Check if your memory actually runs at 4000Mhz (e.g. using taskmanager)
It does.@@TechGuides
Hmm then Im a bit surprised, you play at 1440p I guess?

this tests are %100 not true especially for 2060super and i7-7700k system you will never get 160fps. I have 3060ti and ryzen 5 5600x my system gets hardly +100fps I tried everyupscaling feature not a single of them gives a single +1 fps please do the videos with real result. not for the view
