The video was made very well, especially for photages; unfortunately the facts are very different.
Patrizia come from a very important and rich background, yes she was adopted but she was very young when it happened. She didn't need money, she already had enough, she grew up in the Milanese upper class.
It is true that Rodolfo Gucci was not happy with the wedding, but a year after that, he apologised to both of them for his behaviour and bought them a luxury apartment in New York's Trump Tower, as a good gesture to forget the past.
Patrizia was absolutely opposed to removing Aldo Gucci from the company, she tried to make Maurizio think, but he told her: The Gucci company doesn't need another Director, mind your business ".
When Maurizio left he didn't pack anything, he went to the fashion shows in Florence and once he was away he sent a family friend (their doctor) to pack his bags and tell Patrizia that he had decided not to come back, he asked him to tell her: he doesn't need you anymore. What shocked Patrizia the most was not the "Social Status", because she was 100% sure that he would never remarry, plus she received 60,000,000 Lire (€ 60,000 today) a month with all the expenses for the daughters apart from; and after the divorce she was guaranteed 1.1 million Swiss francs a year for her entire life. What troubled her was the fact that he had totally forgotten about the girls, he only called once every two months to check on how his daughters were doing.
Eventually, when she got brain cancer and had surgery, he was not there for their daughters and all this drove her into the abyss.
These are only part of it, the story is quite complex, there are no excuses for what she did, I'm just saying the story is different, unfortunately the books don't always tell the truth.

You have forgotten a part of Patrizia Reggiani's story, the part of childhood.
She was born into a very poor family, in a poor area of Milan.
Her father was a certain Martinelli (in fact her full name is Patrizia Martinelli Reggiani) who had not recognised her.
The mother was a dishwasher in a bar in Milan.
The fate of Patriza and her mother totally changed when her mother met and married a rich Milanese entrepreneur.

@@silvanodelazzari8522 that’s totally correct, she was 10 years old when she has been adopted. It is fair to say though, that she was pretty young when that happened. The now past-stepfather’s house is close to San Babila, she grow up in a certain way, also when she was 18 the father both her an apartment in the same area, her group of friends were from the “Milano bene”, so she wasn’t that desperate...
