I'm a 65 yo guy who took guitar lessons 50 years ago. I got a ukulele today, and tried a whole bunch of tutorials here on youtube. Stephanie, yours are by far the best. Not only are you a great teacher, but your smile is absolutely to die for. Thank you SO MUCH for doing this. Has brought me great joy in this difficult time. My wife, too.
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
Thank you..... my 9 year old Granddaughter's birthday today.... she's going to love (??!!) a video of me and her Gran singing this to her as we can't be with her..... Thanks Stephanie for all you do ..... from England
Wow! I love that you tuned the G an octave lower. This band director-turned-ukule/piano teacher is loving this simple, yet effective concept. Sounds more like an actual guitar.
Stephanie, I appreciate you calm demeanor and smile. Great to have the chords there to look at but also see your playing position. I used to teach elementary music and art. Now I'm teaching 2nd grade but still bring my uke to school on occasion for a sing-a-long team builder. My kids will love this!
I LOVE this song so I've wanted to play this with ukulele. Thanks to you finally I found the best one. I'd like to sing this song with my ukulele like you. Though it seems a bit hard for me but .....practice,practice. Thank you ,Stephanie.
This is so awesome Another one I am definitely putting on my list when I finally get my act together with my ukulele thank you so much for this video it is on my very long to do list you are awesome my friend
Hello! Thank you for this video and your others as well. I'm wondering if you, Stephanie, can take a look at this clip at 8:42, the video and audio fall out of sync. Thank you!
I’m trying to learn this but I wanna do it with a diff tempo and diff vibes to switch it up. I kinda wanna do it slower and echoey to make it melancholic in a way idk haha
I'm just going Down, Down-up, Down, Down-up. If you're counting, think 1 2& 3 4&, with the "and" being an up strum. Arm is consistent with the motion. I hope that helped.
