There's a ton of ukulele tutorials for just about every other genre, but there doesn't seem to be very many for the pure country style and folk songs out there. We need you to make that happen!! Hi there, yes, any fingering is okay for those chords. Sometimes it depends on the context, what will make the smoothest transition. Some people feel more comfortable doing different fingerings, and that is okay too.

I love that idea. I've been meaning to learn some more classic country tunes. Most of them become pretty easy after some practice.

It is good to learn the Bflat but a G chord is serviceable there to at least let you play the song until you can practice the Bflat more

Is there another note I can use to replace b flat? Due to a wrist injury I just cannot get that b flat.
Maybe try F? See how that feels. Another alternative, you can use all 4 fingers, pinky on the G string.
