    Brilliant tutorial, much easier than the ones I have seen for Photoshop. Thanks.

    Just wow. I have tried to do this in Corel's PSP app for a long time, but was never successful. This really helps my workflow now that I'm learning Affinity Photo. Thanks so much.

    I agree with the comment below, you could have saved your work as a style and add it to any text anytime in Photo. Creating the look was good, there are already several metal types in the style studio, but it is good to practice how to create such looks.

      I was thinking about using on book cover too. Always liked the chrome look on covers. Makes them feel more expensive somehow.

    Great Chrome tutorial! Have you also explored plastic & neon? Thank you!

    • @OlivioSarikas
      @OlivioSarikas  4 года назад +1

      Hi Pope, search my channel for "neon text" - i haven't done a plastic one, but that should work just like the chorme one, just with a different base color :)

  • @David66Stang
    @David66Stang 4 года назад

    What was your base color you started out with? I’m sure that would make a big difference.

    • @OlivioSarikas
      @OlivioSarikas  4 года назад +1

      Hi David, the base color of the font is a medium grey. And yes that makes a big difference. Did i forget to say that in the video?

    • @David66Stang
      @David66Stang 4 года назад

      Olivio Sarikas I didn’t hear it. Maybe knowing the slider values will be more precise. 👍🏼

    is it easy to swap faces or bodies in Affinity??

    • @OlivioSarikas
      @OlivioSarikas  4 года назад

      yes it is :) At least as long as the faces line up so they look in the same direction and are photographed from the same angle

    You have a tendency to go too fast. Is there any way that you could slow down? I'd love to watch your tutorials, and have tried before, but had to quit because you go too fast for me sometimes. Tia

    • @OlivioSarikas
      @OlivioSarikas  4 года назад

      Really? Can you point to a specific area where it is too fast? Also please explain how you experience that: do you require more information about a certain too? Is it hard to follow the mouse movement? Is it a language problem where English isn't your first language? This helps me a lot to figure out what exactly makes it complicated for you to follow me

      Slow the video replay speed to 75%.
      I'm fairly deaf, with tinnitus & I find this makes many videos easier to follow.

    • @55Ramius
      @55Ramius 4 года назад

      @@peterjackhandy I have bad tinnitus too and I always just pause the video part by part or like you said, slow it down a bit.
