This is just so darn cool! Like a month or more lessons in one video! I do a lot of multi-layer effects on principal objects (models, star ships, etc) for shields, invisibility, metal skin (comic character/cosplay models). Keeping the different layers in registration is always a layer-lock issue, because rastering the layer kills the lock. Imbedding a character/ship as a AP document sounds like a great thing to try! Thanks again Olivio!
Thanks, cool Tips! Here is another mindblowing trick, if you have both Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo: Create something in Affinity Designer, for example a Vector-illustration & text. Go to Menu: "File" > "Edit in Photo". Now the dokument opens in Affinity Photo. In Affinity Photo, apply a Live-Filter, for example "Perspective". Go back into Affinity Designer with Menu: "File" > "Edit in Designer." Now the Live Filter is available inside Affinity Designer! It is visible in the layer panel, and you can apply all 3D transformations to your Vector-File or text in Affinity Designer! Works with all Live-Filters from Affinity Photo!
Hi Olivio. I've just found this channel and it is very informative. Thank you. You just showed the trick of rotating the clone brush. You can also resize the brush using the up and down arrow keys.
Great, thank you. I too like the the use of the arrow keys when using the clone brush. Using the up and down arrows zoom in and out as well. Could save a lot of faffing if you required a specific selection.
I just found your channel today, and I really appreciate your videos. It's so much easier to learn how to use the software to its full extent when you're seeing someone DO things with it, and not just reading a help file. I'm wondering if you've ever done any videos about how best to take existing Photoshop actions, brushes, etc. and pull in/rebuild them as Affinity brushes, macros, etc. Or, to say that another way, how can we take the various kinds of Photoshop shortcuts and make them usable in Affinity, since they don't just transfer over?
I think that across all three affinity application with respect to saving assets, if you group multiple layers they are saved as a single asset. You your layers are not grouped and you select multiple layers and save as assets, each layer is saved as a separate asset.
Hi Supain, not in Affinity photo. You can try to bend it with Mesh Warp, but you won't really get a realisic look. The best thing you can do here is to learn a tiny bit of how to use Blender, to do it in there, render it out in 3D and layer it over the photo to add some aditional effects
Thanks Sir..👍 . Yes im learning Blender now..I make mockup there with all metalic cosmetics bottle then plug smart object to wrap the design over.. ..Looking a way to do It on Affinity Photo..I wish you could share some tips on the bend 😁🙏
Very good. After I saw this video yesterday, I checked to see if Photoshop had the same feature. Sure enough, it does. And I needed it last night. So I was using it just a couple hours after watching this video so it's much appreciated.
Hey olivio, I want to ask something Whenever I download a Eps file format for template from freepik, all the text in it are each individual alphabet image layer and not as text layer! This is very frustrating to edit further because you can no longer edit those texts! Can you tell me how can I solve this problem or any alternative?
Hallo Olivio, wenn ich den Text perspekivisch (s. 3:07) ändern will, wird er bei mir entstellt und nicht so verschoben, wir bei dir. Was mache ich falsch?
I have a great Trick for People, who want to switch from Indesign to Publisher. If you copy formatted text from Indesign to Publisher, Publisher text-format preset is imported in Publisher.
Saving layouts as assets is brilliant! You just saved me so much time! Thank you.
I like this idea of using tricks from the community. Awesome.

Hi dbreadon, yes you are right, if you group them, they are saved as a single asset :)
Thanks, Oli! This tutorial is jammed pact with Value! I like this style tutorial. How about an efficiency tutorial with Macros?
Hi Sidney, sounds great. I would love to do a Tutorial on Macros. :)
@@OlivioSarikas Awesome! We "The Community" are looking forward to it.
Thanks @olivio Sarikas for the tutorial. In minutes 1:24, is there any tricks/tips that we can wrap on cylindrical objects?

That rotate clone feature is very good. That’s something I have needed many times. I wonder if Photoshop has that. Gotta try it.

Is there a difference between "Fill with inpainting" and just "Inpaint" (Alt+backspace) ?
Hallo Olivio ! Als treuer Fan möchte ich mal fragen, warum gibt es die Tuts. nicht in deutscher Sprache?
Weiß es mehr Leute gibt die englisch sprechen ;)
Hey olivio,

I have a great Trick for People, who want to switch from Indesign to Publisher. If you copy formatted text from Indesign to Publisher, Publisher text-format preset is imported in Publisher.
Cool, that's a really handy trick :)
Wow
Tks!
