So cool, Olivio!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Always great info!
Wonderful! I especially like the gold dust effect!
Amazing tutorial, thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge! I have Affinity Designer but was able to follow along and achieve the same results, awesome!!
I saw alot of tutorials on text but no one explained the sliders like you do, I have alot more understanding. That is why your channel is the best!!!
Really complete and suberb, many thanks Olivio.
You make it look so easy. Thanks
You are an excellent teacher. Thank you.
Brilliant thank you for this video.
Danke für Deine großartige Arbeit und Zeit! VG aus Berlin Marius.
This is an awesome tutorial! Not only for the lesson, but how to think and consider as one makes images.
Thank you, happy I could share more than just the technique :)
Where can I find the sand file that you use to create the blowing glitter off of the letters?
Thank you for this video. I built a logo in Illustrator and Photoshop of a shield with letters in the middle of it with hard 3D edges and could not figure out how to recreate it in Photo and Designer. I needed this. I'll post on the Facebook page when I'm done the before (Photoshop) and after. It should be way better than I did previously now.
Finally, I understood this 3D tool. I tried it out pretty regularly but it looked always wether a bit off or just straight up horrible. But now... I think I can create some really cool effects with this. Thank you so much, man 👍❤
Awesome, happy I could give you some good insights 👍
Finally grasped "mask to below"... Thank you!
Awesome, happy I could help you 😊👍
Thank you very much for these instructions. Very helpful!
You're very welcome!
Super, comme d'habitude, merci Olivio :-)

You are true magician
Fantastic video. Thanks so much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lots of Secret Sauce. Thanks.
Great!!!
Thank you
HEY OLIVIO!
so Im sure you’ve talked about this in a video but I can’t seem to find anything on it. It’s about when you’re masking out a person.
Mainly for me and when I mask myself out to use for thumbnails, I always have the problem of my beard hairs being white on the ends when the mask is done. Is there anyway around this to where my fine line hairs still stay their darker colour ?
Thanks
My pleasure 👍
What was the reason you changed the image layer to a pixel layer?
Wonderful tutorials. Thank you! I just started with Affinity and found your channel. Question: Why do this in Aff Photo vs Aff Desinger? In the Adobe world it is very common for people to unknowingly work in Photoshop when they really should be using Illustrator - Is that similar in the Affinity world? I'm sure you would be using Aff Desinger if you wanted vector advantages, but just want to know why to use Aff Photo for this instead. Thanks again. Cheers.
'cause this is an pixel image edit. And Affinity Photo is the app for that. You basically answered your own question already. As you said, ADesigner is primarily for vector design. In this tutorial: no vectors, hence no ADesigner needed.
Where did you find the sand?
go to freepik or a similar page and search for dust

Maybe I’m not following right. I’ve rewatched about 20 times the first 8 minutes and nothing you do is matching mine. Layers or anything.
