Excellent tutorial & yes, even tough I have yet to sit down try it out (after writing it all out step by step) I still think it'll be worth it. Thank you. Thank you.
I really love your tutorials, I get so tired of tutorial videos that feel they need to explain that I need to click "Command-C" to copy something - really? You get to the essence, and you deliver! Your presentation is so engaging. Subscribed and hope you continue with this great work.
Thanks for your loving words, Tim ! I’m very glad you appreciate the way I’m delivering my tutorials. Will do my best to continue and improve in future videos! Thanks for subscribing, buddy. I appreciate it ! 🙌🏼
I subscribed. You are a good teacher. I have trouble hearing some accents, but you speak very clearly, so that is nice for me. I can tell you put a lot of creativity into your teaching.
Wow, thanks so much for your kind words and for subscribing, buddy ! I’m putting a lot of effort in getting better at explaining as concise and clear as possible and I’m glad it’s paying off. I appreciate you 👊🏼🔥
found your channel today please keep posting i scroll through your videos. very creative content not too many affinity channels out all photoshop and adobe. i subscribed thanks you for creating this channel i will be using your channel to help learn affinity photo. i have the book photo and designer. i have a good understanding off designer just need help with photo
Thanks a lot for your kind words ! The goal for this year is to upload 80 vids/tutorials. Later today I’ll upload number 6. So stick around, and many more will come your way!
C'est la première fois que je regarde vos autos. C'est très clair et précis. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas la traduction en Français... This is the first time i'be loquet at your tuto. It's very clear and précise ! It's toi bad there's no french translation...
Just to follow up Rensi ~ Yes It all works! & I'm pretty happy with the result. However… I would like to see they eyes clearly ( without the words going over the eyes) ~ I think I need to apply yet another Mask.🤷🏻♂️ But I dunno where I should position another Mask to achieve this ~ can you advise me please?
Hey Samual! Thanks for letting me know everything worked out and that you’re happy with the results ! 🔥 I like that you add your own creativity to it. What you could do to show to normal eyes is to create a duplicate of the portrait layer, place it on top of the layer stack, create an inverted (black) layer mask - alt/option-click mask icon with portrait layer selected - and then paint back the eyes with a white brush! This should do the job, let me know it worked buddy! 👊🏼 Good luck!
@@IAMRENSI Thanks for getting back to me. In the meantime I had several tries at it myself & finally succeeded by placing a Mask Layer Above the ~ Word Cloud Layer & its Mask then used a black brush and painted over the eyes. As this worked I then changed the brush to a Textured brush and painted over the subjects Hair and Lips. (the subject was from my own stock)~ It all turned out pretty good & can only improve with more practice ~ thanks for all your help & Oh yeah the music? not bad better than before 😉
@iamrensi Great tutorial. Is it possible to do the same concept with lyrics of a song inside like a basic shape of a heart or something? I’m also trying to figure out how to put lyrics of a song in a spiral 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Hey Erika! I'm not sure if the shape text frame is possible in Photo, but for this I'd recommend you use Designer! Afterwards you can further edit in Photo. The lyrics to spiral idea is definitely possible in Photo. Create the spiral using the Pen Tool and then click with the Artistic Text Tool on the spiral. This will turn your spiral-Curve into a Text Curve. Hope this helps! Good luck 👍🏽
Looks amazing. Have to try it out later. Hope I can find all commands because I am using it in German. BTW: if I use "Bebas Neue" as font, it does not look like yours. Instead it´s Times New Roman.
Great tutorial. Could I ask you to slow down in your explanation please. I do rewind and rewind again but sometimes I just can't get it. THanks for sharin g your knowledge. Reaaly enjoy your channel.
Thanks a lot Gerry! I’m happy to help the you and the fellow Affinity community. The reason why I create these faster paced videos is simply because they perform better than slower vids. This means that people on average watch them longer and are less bored/more engaged - which helps reach more people. However, I’m thinking of ways to release more in-depth/slower content (perhaps exclusively for Patrons, or in the form of LIVE online workshops). But I’m not sure if that would work. Would you be in? Or maybe have other ideas on how I could make that work? :)
@@IAMRENSI Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your response to my question. Yes I would. So, please count me in. Also, thank you for your tutorials. Whatever you decide to do. I will follow your channel. Stay safe.
@@IAMRENSI Rensi, Great video. Especially the tip on how to get rid of the fringe around the hair so easily. But I do agree with Gerry. Fortunately I didn't really have a problem following you, but I did think you were talking a lil too fast for someone that might not be at more than an intermediate level. And because you have a slight accent...some may miss what your saying when your speaking fast. But keep up the fantastic work!

Can u make a video on how to do a melanin skin plz ?
I’m not sure what video/tutorial you’re requesting. Could you perhaps clarify ? Anyways, thanks for the kind words Riley! I appreciate it!!
@@IAMRENSI I think Riley is basically asking for a tutorial on how to change skin color. From a light skin tone to a dark skin tone.
Gaaf!, benieuwd of dit ook lukt met de iPad app
Thanks ! Zelf nog nooit Affinity iPad gebruikt, maar ben ervan overtuigd dat het moet kunnen ! Succes, ben benieuwd naar het eind resultaat
Can you apply the same technique for blending a landscape into a portrait? Great tutorial video by the way. Thanks.
wooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww

Can this be done on the IPad app?

yayy no dislike
I have got it all nice, except the displacement part.
Very good but, you could slow down a bit, it comes across like you're in a rush
Thanks for the tip, will take it into account for future videos 🙌
I'm new to Affinity. There is no way i can do anything like this yet.
Working on a beginner course ! So if you’re interested, Keep an eye on my channel, Aldora ! 🤙🏼
I followed this step by step and it came out awful hahah
Haha, since every photo is different sometimes it does need some tweaking. But in general the steps are the same 😅
