Loved this video….I made a granny 45 yrs ago for my mom and dad…3 color squares, ,earning 10 ends to run back on EACH square…there were 150 squares set 10+qx15..totaling 1500 run back ends…Then, I went all the way round it with escolar..( cream, pale yellow, Chocolate brown….lol…I vowed I would never make another granny the rest of my life…but I do..after about 20 years…I had NO IDEA how to join them, and no one ro show me,…so I all Yuen horizontal rows together, then all the vertical…turned out beautiful…y 4 little boys had an eye for it,…and my 59 yr old youngest has it…still beautiful…thatks my crochet story♥️😀😀
Can you do a video showing how to join granny squares with the stitch that’s on your sweater or could you tell me what the stitch method is to create the stitches on your sweater? I absolutely love that. Look with the free flowing holes. Thank you so much.❤❤❤
I have a video tutorial you can take a quick peek at to see what a V stitch looks like. You can also do a quick google search to see a quick picture. CLICK HERE: ruclips.net/video/ExuT5RG9LMU/видео.html
I have a blanket of granny squares to join together. I assume I will use the slip stitch into the back loop method, but may try the other two before I decide for sure. Thanks for showing these methods! ❤
What is interesting to me is that the join you called the invisible join, is what I learned as Mattress Stitch in knitting!!! Weird right?? I’ve also seen people do a join as they go, which makes a very pretty lacey join. Thank you for sharing! 💜🧶
I have most often used the invisible join. I have been taught the slip stitch method, but it feels unwieldy to me. Thanks for another very informative video. P. S. I think my next project will be the campfire cardigan. It's gorgeous! 💜
