Into The Woods Synopsis: INTO THE WOODS is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them. Rob Marshall, the talented filmmaker behind the Academy Award-winning musical “Chicago” and Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” helms the film, which is based on the Tony-winning original musical by James Lapine, who also penned the screenplay, and legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, who provides the music and lyrics. Produced by Marshall, John DeLuca, “Wicked” producer Marc Platt and Callum McDougall.

That Meryl Streep fall was so scary, but I think it was Emily's "parental reflexes" that kicked in. It happens alot when you have babies/toddlers at home,lol.
important to note that emily did not yet have children at home, she was just pregnant so those instincts must have been strong lol

My son's school did Into the Woods. Amazing costumes and they brought in the bark, that you have in the garden, into their PE auditorium. They must've had so much fun removing it afterwards, basically filled the entire floor and some real tree stumps as well. Considering a high school production, the costumes, cast and scenography was amazing

Audrey Bloomfield she didn’t correct Anna but she said breathless because it would have been! Anna was referring to her singing as being breathy which is the correct word to use whereas Meryl was laughing because she said it would have been “breathless” as in she wouldn’t have had any breath at all to sing. She wasn’t correcting her. She didn’t even interrupt what she was saying. She quietly said it to Christine Baranski who is a good friend of hers (obviously they did Mamma Mia together so it was probably an inside joke for them as they had a lot of dancing numbers where they were trying to sing at the same time). I don’t think it was rude at all. Everyone else was laughing at it.
I wish Johnny Deep was there.

Exactly what I want to.know! Its sad that when children star in a movie with a full adult cast they don't do interviews however in some movie they do but I would have loved to hear their opinions
IKR cinderellas stepmother, jacks mom, and the wolf were literally in it for 7 minutes 😂 and 2 of those characters revolve around little red and jack and if red and jack didn't exist those 2 wouldn't either!!! They just need popular actors for this stuff unfortunately :(

I leaned this watching once upon a time, having the kids doing press conferences and promotion implies having to pay for their plane ticket and a parent/guardian’s plane ticket so they decide to just not do it but in special occasions such as the premier

I think he meant grade schools. There's a productions that grades schools can purchase that is only act one.
where are little Red and Jack, they should have been part of this also, unless Lilla was still doing Annie on Broadway? the kids are just as much apart of the leads as the adults in this musical, and if your going to do the wolf as a secret character from the prince, than JD should have been there as well.

In every single high school production of this shows defense, I think the main reason that they don't do both acts of the show is because it'd be pretty long for any normal high school production.

Denise Seah Rob Marshall is the director of 'Into the Woods' and Kenneth Brannagh is the director of 'Cinderella'.

2. Corden should never be allowed to narrate because of his squeacky voice. Next time try Morgan Freeman.
3. And for most of all, the most important thing is... You should never, NEVER EVER kill Emily Blunt in the movie. In any movie, even about the nuclear apocalypse. Even in that one about asteroid hitting the Earth! There should be always two survivors, roaches and Emily Blunt. Without her, living, movie, anything basically has no meaning
