Hands down one of the best high school performances of ANYTHING I'e ever seen. Literally had to check half way through to see if it was college or high school, and was pleasantly surprised that it was high school. Very well done to the entire cast.

Anyway, I much prefer when the same actor plays Cinderella's Prince and the Wolf. I was a bit disappointed with what they did with the Wolf in the movie.

I still cant believe that these are high school students. At what age bracket they might be? I love the characters! Especially Jack and red riding hood they are so innocent looking 😂. And the voice of the baker's wife!! Ooh lala its so matured! 😍 a group in my school tried to copy this production but it's not as good as this one! I can watch it a million times! Congratulations!

Absolutely beautiful performance. All those involved should be very proud. From the performers, to the set, costuming, music...so well done. Never mind that this was a highschool-aged cast. Talent is talent. Again, very well done.
This performance was simply amazing! I'm doing this play as well, and I'm Jack, and I'm getting lots of inspiration from the Jack here! Wonderful job to the entire cast- I wish I was at the original performance!
I'm playing The Baker's Wife in my school's production this November and I definitely am getting some pointers from the one in this production! She is so good!
incredibly impressed with the pure talent this school has! wow! I played the Baker when a local theatre company did it here. Bravo to this group so amazed!
This production is FABULOUS!!! The opening number alone (which is a nightmare of timing, delivery, etc) is worth a TONY award. Bravent to a superb cast and crew. Thank you for posting it for us>
Honestly, 2:04:38 is probably the best part in this whole play, in the movie even. I watched this whole part from start to finish last year and I keep going back because the cast is so great and I admire all of them. I even went as far to look up these people's social media. They're all AMAZING. And to think this is a high school production.
I don't usually watch or even like high school plays, but I've got to admit these youngsters were fantastic. Best acting, and best singing, and best all-around performance. And the baker's wife was so professional, she is defiantly headed for Broadway.
I really enjoyed this! My school is putting this show on, auditions were yesterday and I was given the role of one of the stepsisters😊 These actresses and actors did an amazing job! I thought the witch did really well, as well as the baker. Nice Job!
I was Granny in my schools production I was lost cause I didn't know if anyone heard me because I didn't have a mic 😂 I literally had to scream my lines 😂😂😂
My friend was the steward in the play and she has a soft voice in singing, and when her solo came, the mic broke so she had to scream"LOOK AT THE BLOOD WITHIN THE SHOEEE THIS ONE IS NOT THE BRIDE THATS TRUERE SEARCH FOR THE FOOT THAT FITS!"
If you are complaining about singing, acting, or anything negative about this production it's time to stop because you can obviously tell they put so much hard work and effort into this
An incredible nexus of efforts, and for a high school production, nothing short of legendary production value. That a single high school had this deep a pool of talent all at once is just astonishing. All of the female leads were brilliant, and the Baker's Wife (Emma Bruce) and the Witch (Karon Chapa) were particularly extraordinary. May everyone involved in this production have long, fruitful, and happy careers!
I cannot stop writing as I continue watching this superb production. Now it's turn for the orchestra it's superb! Congratulations to the orchestra, it's a very dificult score, and the arrangements are perfect! Now turn for the director of the production: Bravo bravo bravoooo!!!!!
What a wonderful, humorous and simply spellbinding performance of this splendid play! It's amazing that this production was performed by high-schoolers; they each did a spectacular job. This video really inspired me to do my best in my school's production of this play. I'm starring as Cinderella's mother and when I watched the actress who played her in this video it helped me out a lot. I love how this play shows that not all stories end happily ever after and that not every character in the story gets a happy ending, but it still ends very hopeful. Thank you so much for posting this entire performance for all viewers to see. It had incredible actors and actresses with amazing talent.

This was a WONDERFUL performance!! Loved every minute of it....very well done -talented high school students, both the actors and tremendous orchestra/band. BRAVO!
Surprisingly good for a highschool performance! clearly put the effort in, good job
the baker will never not remind me of WILL POULTER. you know, that english guy with the blond hair and the weird eybrows who was in we're the millers, the maze runner and that narnia movie. i can't not see it.
*we're the millers*
He's a baker!
Loving when the princes sing together! They have great chemistry
The oldest person on stage is 18 in this and the youngest, the narrator was 14 or 15 at the time.
The new movie brought me here. I love how they did the new movie.. Its great. This is good for high school students. I didnt know that this was an original screen play. They did good doing the new version. Very good job production and the new actors. :)...
One of the better performances I've seen of my favorite show. Great job!
Especially the leading ladies. Little Red, the witch, Cinderella and the bakers wife were superb.
1:05:36 On the Steps of the Palace 1:22:27 Ever After 1:24:59 Prologue: So Happy 1:37:26 Agony (Reprise) 1:49:07 Witch's Lament 1:55:24 Any Moment/Moments in the Woods 2:04:36 Your Fault/Last Midnight 2:11:35 No More 2:20:21 No One is Alone 2:26:51 Finale: Children Will Listen
Is it just me, or does every person in this cast have a lisp?
Little Red definitely has a lisp, but I didn't think anyone else did.
I think it might be the microphones
kjimm93 huh...a lot of them do...can’t tell if it’s an acting choice or not
In musical theater to get out diction we must literally talk so clear that we have to spit out of our mouth and sometimes mics make this create an illusion of a lisp
kjimm93 i think its there mics
Who here noticed how sexual "And I know Things Now" is?
Of course. That's the point! 'Giants in the Sky' definitely has some subtle undertones as well.
OMG I thought I was the only one lol
Lol same
"Hello little girl" is also pretty off
Okay, I want to applaud every single person in this performance! You guys were great! (:
Absolutely beautiful performance. All those involved should be very proud. From the performers, to the set, costuming, music...so well done.
Never mind that this was a highschool-aged cast. Talent is talent. Again, very well done.
I was casted as Jack's Mother today and I'm so excited to take on this role!
I was too!! It's a fun role!!
i was just casted as jack’s mother too !! :)
Well then hi mom
Me too!!!!
Thank you for posting it for us>
This is awesome play quality. along with an amazing performance, funny and really really good
Honestly, 2:04:38 is probably the best part in this whole play, in the movie even.
Cinderella can talk to birds, Red can talk to wolves, and the baker can talk to ghosts.
and Jack can talk to cows 😂😂
Amazing for a high school production! Such voices! Bravo!
I really enjoyed this! My school is putting this show on, auditions were yesterday and I was given the role of one of the stepsisters😊 These actresses and actors did an amazing job! I thought the witch did really well, as well as the baker. Nice Job!
The Witch will forever be my favorite character. She was so good!
My fav is little red
Ashley Collier KARON CHAPA IS AMAZING
+Brandon Bell yes she is I love her so much!!!
I was Granny in my schools production I was lost cause I didn't know if anyone heard me because I didn't have a mic 😂 I literally had to scream my lines 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
I just finished mine a while ago :)
+SydneyDIY 101 😂😂😂
+TheBroadwayGirl I had to use a mic and lit. All I had to say was "moo" 😂
If you are complaining about singing, acting, or anything negative about this production it's time to stop because you can obviously tell they put so much hard work and effort into this
I wish my high school could do this play again. I would either be the wolf or the narrator who sings that one song with everyone else.
the freeze frame things-- i could never stay still for that long
OH MY GOSH this was good enough to go on broadway!!!!
I'm in love with Jack ♥ he's stole my heart
I love his Mother.
Can we talk about how good the witch was?!! The orchestra was great!
I wish my school was that cool 😍
Amazing performance. Blown away by the fact that it was High School. Great job!!
