@deadeye3030 it was 6 months ago but I do still experience a weird intake hiss when I accelerate (while driving) and then let off the gas pedal, and it sounds like I have a blow off valve (but I don't have a turbocharger.) But this issue is obvious when I cold start the engine and as soon as I step on the gas in neutral, the rpm drops instead of rising. Later on as the engine is warm and the air expands because of the heat, this idle hiss is not as prominent as before.
@deadeye3030 Also I found out that there is a way to test where the leak is coming from at the dealership, though I have not done it yet. Basically it puts smoke into the vacuum lines and then you wait until you see smoke leaking out from where ever the leak(s) are. Basically i get the supercharger whine and also a slight blow off from the intake.
I found a number of leaks. Vacuum line leak from when I tried to install boost gauge. GP IC leak which I fixed by going back to stock supercharger IC. It was a while back, but mini is still going strong at 147k miles
Yea same thing here when it warms up or past like 3gear its ok but yea when I let go of my gas it drops way low sum times. Imma have it looked at this week so ill let u no. I just got k&n kit n put it in my self. On a dodge ram 1500. But seals seem fine when I looked and hour ago but I just put it in on the 21st
Same thing with my truck after intake install. Let me no. Loose I think but could be a vacume line I'm lookin at mine now
