I used to go shark fishing with my best friend before he passed. Watching your video brings back all the memories, i've never been so happy to feel sick for hours lol. By best was 117lb.

Now that’s a proper shark fishing video👌. Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. Non stop action. Ernest Hemmingway would have been jealous. Really good video, John. So good to see the catch, tag and release. I remember the old days, where blues were hung on the quayside for holidaymakers to gasp at. Anglers today are so much more aware of conservation.

I think that was the best shark fishing video from the uk its so good to see the numbers we have. I loved it when you just put the bait in the water and your rod goes off so exciting. Me and my boy went shark fishing a couple weeks ago and had some great fun my boy had a 30lb tope was briliant to watch him catch it. Thanks for a fantastic video john mate loved every second off it. Another great video John and looks like you have a new boat?.. I have not managed to watch your last few postings but I am still in awe with you getting out in the open sea with a smallish boat and do admire your fishing expertise and knowhow.
Just had week on holiday in West Wales and had 2 days out in the celtic deep .......4 blues .2 over 100lb ......and my mate had a porbeagle over 150lb .....etc it went 157lb ......we also saw tuna smashing a bait ball ....and a thresher shark hammering mackerel ....it was truly amazing
