When catch and release started to become more widespread it was such a tremendous improvement for sport angling. I think we need to impress upon anglers that the purpose of releasing fish is that the fish survives. THROWING a fish back, is not the same as ensuring the released fish survives especially with salmonoids and trout which can be easily stressed. Thanks to people like you who have a wide audience, taking a few minutes to explain fish handling is big help. Sport angling will always be a way for people to bond with the natural world, it’s much more than just catching fish. The old saying of “leave it better than you found it”, encourages me to think we’ve done OK. Good video, nice clear camera footage. Very cool to have the pair of blues come to the boat.

I think that was the best shark fishing video from the uk its so good to see the numbers we have. I loved it when you just put the bait in the water and your rod goes off so exciting. Me and my boy went shark fishing a couple weeks ago and had some great fun my boy had a 30lb tope was briliant to watch him catch it. Thanks for a fantastic video john mate loved every second off it. First light was great down hayle beach this week, a walk along the beach, stunning sunrise. Definitely the best part of the day. Super informative video, almost bordering a really technical vid for you John but really enjoyable. Really good video.
