Your two workshop attendees are so lucky to have the two of you to themselves! Just loving Adam and your videos, can't wait till they come out every week.
It's funny to see that a youtuber, whom I've been following for some time, making a video from my home island. Great photos. Your pronounciation of Suðuroy was perfect.
Smartness is important in a relationship and cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone and I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and deleted messages from my phone without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I’m here in UK and able to access my husband’s phone messages with a link on my phone even while he was away in Canada cheating on me. I got to discover that my husband who is legally married to me here in UK is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all his Whatsapp, Facebook,Skype,Instagram and Snapchat messages Including the deleted text and recent messages. You can contact this great Hacker Gavin via Gmail (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and don’t forget to thank me later.
@13:31 love that shot, the light, the detail, the seabirds, you really brought it to life with that image. Such majestic cliffs. Love your work. Thank you for another awesome vlog. 😊
Great advice guys. When my brother complained that Nikon had changed to the Z mount and he couldn't use those lenses. No worries I said, just press "WB" and keep on shooting. Works everytime.
Once you find that shot, it is always worth it to get such an amazing shot. My problem would be sitting still. I'd be taking sheep portraits, bird shots, all over the place!
Loving the dual-view vlogging at 08:42 - good rocket-work! Class images too - 100% worth it (for you to do it that is) :D I prefer the second one but both are epic!
Cracking shots Gavin. I think I'm edging on the second one with more light and shadows, but they are both great comps and shots. Thanks for the tutorial on the WB " Why Bother " button. ha! Wondered what that was!!!.
I recently stumbled upon your channel. I love seeing all the beautiful locations that you visit! I'm not a photographer but I find your travel and photography combo to be so different from what I usually watch and I'm loving it! Looking forward to watching more! Sending "likes" your way!
Excellent shots!! And I’m sorry but on all the ones you want to know which I prefer I always love them all!! Just like a well orchestrated concert 🎵 You are very talented! ❤
Another great video. Number 2 is obviously far preferable. Regarding waiting for rain to clear I find covering the camera with a carrier bag and bungying it round the tripod column works for me. That way you don't have to re-compose as long as you don't move the tripod head.
Stunning scenery! Great images! And absolutely hilarious course in camera usage! Gotta get me some 'no drama' filters! And I would like to learn a bit more about white balance, but why bother.... 😂
Great shots and nicely processed! And the sheep talk was hilarious! Glad you included the sheep cakes in the foreground for texture and a sense of place. BTW - hahahaha - I kept looking for Catherine in the reflection of your glasses. Sigh. But there was a glimpse of her in Adam's video, so I guess I'll follow him from now on. :)
Another brilliant video Gavin hats off to your humour and video editing love it👍 loving the stripey light image 🙏🙏 Still pmsl at the no drama filter and why bother camera setting brilliant 😂😂
Wow! You had my knees feeling woozy with that vertiginous view there! No kidding that a bit of sheep pudding might be your nemesis on those cliffs. I prefer the image with the rain cloud: it adds a bit of drama to the image and shows a glimpse of what to expect in the Faroes.
As a new photographer watching you and others on youtube, makes me sad. I don't feel ill ever afford or be able to get to stunning locations like you do. However, what makes your channel so appealing, is that it's fun, entertaining and yet still informative.
your videos, from the pair of you are improving professionally, with (your) humor and the technical content... this is meant to be a compliment - there were pretty darn good before...really, seriously ....
Another "jelly knees" view in this video! I prefer the 1st shot because of the moving rain cloud. You mentioned the small pink flowers in the foreground but it is is the sheep dip that adds the icing to the cake.......(ew, just had a visual). Another video that shows how important patience is the world of Landscape Photography. Thanks
We were on the cliffs a little north of there about a week ago. We didn’t get as dramatic light, but it was my favorite location in the Faroes. The frisson of danger you feel when trying to avoid falling over the edge to a certain death really adds to the experience :)
What an amazing place. Has really made me want to visit the Faroes. Must say I prefer (just) the second of the two images. Having said that though, the first is a wonderfiully moody pic. Love the opening :-)
Great video, sorry that your camera isn't weather sealed. I have had my Pentax K1 out in much worse conditions and the problem was keeping the front of the lens free of water spots.
Juicy giblets!! Beautiful place. I like the 2nd image the best. Love the contrast between the light streaks on the ground and the shadows the lumpylicious ground creates. If I may make a suggestion, when asking us to choose between one photo and another, place them side by side, or show them one after the other. Food for thought, or not. Oh, and FYI, throw in a cheap hotel shower cap in your bag for when it rains. Easier than taking the camera off and putting in inside your ample bosom. Unless you like it there. :) Great video, thanks for taking us along to the Faroe Islands.
@@fototripper I have a camera condom too, used it once while shooting at the beach; crashing waves. Did it's job, thank God. But normally I don't. That's why I like the shower cap. Easy on, easy off, no faff!!
All that entertainment disguises what a brilliant photographer you are, add Mr Grumpy to the mix and you have the dream team. Very different approaches, with equally inspiring images. The Morecome and Wise of photography!
Very cool image well worth waiting for however I think I would have gone black and white , similarly early on in your day with the less desirable light perhaps there were some monochrome shots to be had? thanks for another stonking video, Del.
Not really impressed with the final comp. What's the refund policy on this video? J/K, another awesome video! I love the strong greens and blues in the scene.
Great to hear that you like the Quiraing on Skye but of course there is so much more to Skye than the wonderful Quiraing. I'll keep searching for the vid (if you've done one) of Skye. Great craic by the way and love the cheeky sideways glance that comes every now and then, stay safe mate👍😎
Spectacular footage 😮 sketchy mind hanging about on those cliff tops. Well done mate both images were insane but I think I prefer the second one just a tad more. 👍👌
As always Gavin, thank you for the posting and the excellent tips and advice. When you are trying to keep the Sony covered up from the elements like you did by putting it in jacket, did you ever consider just getting some cheap shower caps to have on you. I usual buy a 3 pack for a few dollars and keep one or two with me at all time, that way just throw it over the camera and lens if I feel concern. More important, the most valuable bit on this video beside the tip to not get too close to the edge and slipping on the sheep poo, is I thank you very much for finally helping me understand the WB feature on my camera bodies, I figured it must be something critical since from my 7D to my 1DX2 has it, but now I can sleep much better knowing it stand for Why Bother, so I will not!!! ;-)
You are not a lazy photographer, you are a photographer of epic light and epic locations. My favourite image was the second one of the two, with yes, you guessed it, your epic light. The little pink flowers you like are what we call here in the U.K. Thrift, Armeria maritime, sometimes also called Sea Pink or Rock Rose. They add the perfect finish to coastal photography here in Devon and Cornwall in May and June, when they are at their best. They probably flower a littler later the further north you go. Anyway, thank you for a great video and ... epic pictures!
For me, the second shot is better not only for the light but also the awesome seagull contrasted against the dark rock - marvelous capture :) Great vid ! P.S. Is Uncle Grumpy ok, he seemed to experience some strange seizures near the end...?
Hi Gavin, I just LOVE your videos and you have re-inspired me to get back and do what I love the most and that's shoot landscapes. Can I ask why you don't seem to use a camera raincoat when you are shooting in bad weather? I know most of them are a pain but there seem to be some excellent ones on the market too.
The second shot does it for me Gavin. The seagull makes it 😎. I'm even a lazier photographer than you are. I'm in bed watching this Vlog on my iPad 😂😂😂👍
Great content again. A tip for you... Get yourself a shower cap (just a crappy cheap one) and when it starts to rain just slip it over the top . It’ll easily cover your Sony with a long lens! Your welcome 😊
Oh man, talking sheep, that's so Serta mattress commercial! But buried among all that comedy was a real gem: "I'm looking for viewpoints to reveal themselves"!! Now, why didn't I think of that? Equipped with that knowledge, the forecast for my career as a landscape photographer looks bright and sunny, no wait, moody with dappled light..... ah ya know, it's changing all the time!
I preferred the second picture. As for conserving energy (those that are uninformed call lazy or cheating) what does it matter if you get the a result that you want. Unfortunately, I have struck the Faroe's off my list as I find it difficult to look out of a window (which you cannot fall through) in a high building without my mouth becoming dry and my hands and feet becoming wet.
Just nick a shower cap from a hotel room bathroom. Perfect for slipping over the camera when it's showery and then no need to take the camera off the tripod

@@fototripper Thanks. Your videos are always great. It's great to have a few laughs too while I'm watching them. I was a little puzzled though. It looked like you were hiking in boots. What's up with that. Where are the flip-flops!! LOL!

Good little timelapse Gavin. Great composition, the more I view the images the more I see & like. Like the type of light in #2.
I actually like the brighter "Homer Simpson credits clouds" scene more than either of the two shots, but wow what a great scene!
