Amazing video Jeb, as usual! The Faroe islands remind me so much of the Scottish outer Hebrides, and with Barra there with it's beach/sand runways, think it could be up there as a potential future trip! Totally agree with you about leaving the camera behind to capture some memories for yourselves, well said.
This is hands down my favorite video that you two have made so far. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place and your adventures, I have now added the Faroe Islands to my travel bucket list!
I love that you take us to these exotic destinations. This and your St. Helena videos are my favorite. Rick Steves has nothing on you guys. Please do more like these.
Jeb, thank you for sharing this adventure with us!! I’d love to go someplace where my weather apps don’t work. Better than a Google Earth “trip” for certain!
Yes, you've found a gorgeous place to film this stunning video, but ... your narrative and film skills are developing beautifully. I haven't watched you for a while, and your progress is a "leaps and bounds" process. Well done, both of you. And thanks.
What a great video, thanks for sharing your adventures with us Jeb. I was aaaalmost expecting to see some angry Vikings somewhere in this video, LOL. Can't wait for your next video. Thomas
The Faroe Islands proves that man can still build but at the same time remain balanced with nature. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing your travels with us.
Absolutely beautiful video Jeb 💗🇫🇴 I have been dreaming of going to the Faroe Islands since I was a boy. We finally made it to Iceland a few years ago. Your video has inspired me to go to the Faroes soon. Thank you so much for taking us with you to these incredible places 💗
These islands are one of the most magical places in the world. Spent a few days there about 5 years ago. So laid back, so awesome. Went to Mykines by boat….have NEVER seen this many birds in my life….incl. thousands of puffins!!! Let’s keep the Faroes hard to get to 🤫 🇨🇦
Great video. It's somewhere I'm planning to visit having done the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The only hesitation relates to their reputation for killing dolphins.
It's so interesting how you mentioned putting down the camera to create your own memories - Answer in Progress recently made a great video about cameras and how they affect our perceptions of memories!
Ever since I learned of the existence of this place, at the age of 12 or 13, it has been my number 1 travel destination. It just looks so serene, breathtaking and beautiful. I’m so happy for you and Suzanne for having visited the Faroe Islands. Great video as always!
Great video! I note the pronunciation of the towns & places is a bit off, (Vágar is "vouh-are", Tórshavn "Tors-haun", but the pronunciaton for Kalsoy, Tjørnuvík, and Saksun are pretty much spot on!) but I, and probably most of my countrymen, appreciate you spreading awareness. If ever you decide to visit in the stormy seasons, remember: the rain/snow here does not fall downwards.
Incredible views! I've seen a few of those 4K drone videos filmed around these islands and it's a place of incredible beauty! Definitely will add to the bucket list!
Gorgeous islands. That scenery is way beyond what I've ever seen. And that from a screen. How is it when I will see that scenery with my own eyes! Only you and Susan will know that. Thank you for this trip.
i am very happy that you are respectable tourists that follow the paths while hiking, couse in the faroe islands we had to lockdown an island for tourists couse the grassy ground was turning into mud making sheep unable to eat in the area.
Stunning, really stunning....In regards to the last part of the video... I actually told my wife the same thing a few days ago, we were at a concert, she was recording it, watching the whole thing on her screen. I told her to put away the phone and just enjoy the show, on the way back to the hotel she thanked me.
Really enjoy your videos. I’m off to Antarctica in December. Keep reminding myself that I need to sit back and enjoy it and not be permanently attached to my camera.
Spent a week this summer on the Faroe Islands it is by far one of the most breathtaking in all of Europe!! If you are a Lighthouse lover like I am be sure to visit Kalsoy Island to Kallur Lighthouse it is by far 'otherworldly' the hike was steep very windy but worth it all in the end!!! I hope to visit one day again!!!
We've been to the Faroes twice. Absolutely stunning. Love the people, love the food, love the sheep, love the scenery, love the one-way tunnels, undersea tunnels, off-roading. Atlantic Airways is awesome - I love that everyone on the plane usually knows each other, and they're all super friendly to tourists. Stepping off the plane onto the tarmac and breathing that fresh air - there's nothing like it. It's beautiful any time of year since it stays pretty temperate - even in winter. I almost don't want to tell people about it because relatively low tourism numbers compared to somewhere like Iceland are part of the charm haha. We were planning a trip this fall to go a third time, but found out that our favorite restaurant was doing a pop-up in Greenland, so we went there instead. Also an amazing place to visit (and Air Greenland is a fantastic airline with some awesome airports) but we'll be back to the Faroes in the next couple of years, I'm sure. We even tried to move there, but the Danish govt recently enacted a law that requires doctors to speak Danish - even though they don't speak Danish on the Faroes, the rule still applies. Huge bummer.
I've visited Faroe Islands 3 times in the past year because me and family fell in love with the island chain on our first trip we arrived during their whale hunting festival.
Hi im Silas From the Faroe islands (klaksvik) and Jeb i just want to say thank you for spending your time making a video here in the faroes and hope you have great rest of your day :)
Hey Jeb! Love Your Channel, I have a few things I really want to see you do. Number 1. Take Lufthansa flight 458 from Munich to SFO and Number 2. Visit Sacramento Intl Airport, its my home airport and think it would make amazing content. I recently Flew on Lufthansa's service from Munich to SFO and it was amazing. Love your Videos, Thanks!
Great content Jeb, what a unique land. It's my understanding that the climate is temperate considering the lat/longs due to the gulf stream current that is directly it it's path. Cheers
"Roses are red; Violets are blue; youtube algoritm brought me here too" ... and I like it ! Breathless and speechless .. .amazing footages from a amazing planet ... thx for sharing ! Greetings from Brasil.
My friend is dead now. A old man. He was born here and as a small boy he learned the sea. He and his dad were fishing in a small boat and a fast hard storm almost killed them as they ran for their life. Welcome to the ocean. He traveled his whole life. WW2 was a blip. I miss you old friend.
Hi Jeb and Suzanne. I certainly don't blame you for keeping some of your holiday on the 3rd island to yourselves ! It is such a unique landscape, I absolutely love the buildings with grass roofs. Environmentally friendly, for sure. A great way to insulate against the weather extremes. Gotta hand it to the Vikings of old, in many ways ahead of their times !
You make an important point. We are all guilty of trying to record moments or places when we should be just experiencing them. How often do we ever view that footage again? That said, thank you to you and Suzanne for continuing to share your trips with us. 😊
What a bunch of stunning landscapes!, indeed unique in the world. Iceland is similar in its uniqueness of landscapes and also the "Four seasons in one day" experience
Good to see travel review instead of flight review on this channel. Faroe islands are absolutely beautiful as shown in your video. Got to visit them sometime in the future.
This past winter I spent a week in Iceland. I was amazed by how beautiful it was. I have to visit the Faroe Islands now
Toda Raba
I would recomend... Im from tjere and its soo pretty🇫🇴🇫🇴

Wow - the Faroe Islands are just breathtaking. I can't wait to visit!
So green, come to appreciate the beauty since I live in the high desert terrain of California.
This is hands down my favorite video that you two have made so far. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place and your adventures, I have now added the Faroe Islands to my travel bucket list!
Amazing video, and his point at the end is so true. Really well done
I love that you take us to these exotic destinations. This and your St. Helena videos are my favorite. Rick Steves has nothing on you guys. Please do more like these.
I had no idea how beautiful the Faroe Islands were, they've shot to the top of my most want to visit list now, I have to go there someday.

Is this a new tangent? I'd love to see you two go to wayward places because you are so relatable.
That roundabout under the ocean is awesome
Great 👍 I would love to visit Faroe Islands
My partner and I are planning a week's visit to the Faroes, and this video is inspirational in thinking about this.
The Faroe Islands have always been on my bucket list. Now I'm even more bound and determined to go there! Thanks for an excellent vlog!

Your best video by far. Simply stunning and you certainly caught the emotional impact. Thank You
Can we all appreciate the fact that Jeb never disappointed us with his content. 🤚
Gorgeous islands. That scenery is way beyond what I've ever seen. And that from a screen. How is it when I will see that scenery with my own eyes! Only you and Susan will know that. Thank you for this trip.
Beautiful area, reminds of Ireland for some reason. If this is Summer, what does Winter look like? Good to see Jeb getting some exercise....lol
i am very happy that you are respectable tourists that follow the paths while hiking, couse in the faroe islands we had to lockdown an island for tourists couse the grassy ground was turning into mud making sheep unable to eat in the area.
Great destination! 💛 I want to travel to the Faroe Islands next June/July - Thanks for your videos!

Living in the moment! I couldn't. Agree more!😊but thanks for sharing what you do..

Stunning beauty of its own. The Aw39 is a very stable bird, the state of MD utilizes them for LE and medical missions.
"Roses are red; Violets are blue; youtube algoritm brought me here too" ... and I like it ! Breathless and speechless .. .amazing footages from a amazing planet ... thx for sharing ! Greetings from Brasil.
