Arg Gavin, I was just in the Faroes and I found your lens cloths littered all across the ground of the islands. You need to tell your customers to properly dispose of them when they are done!
@@fototripper Perhaps they could have a dual purpose, as well as lenses they could double as a biodegradable shit ticket - saves carrying and leaves space for more tomatoes?
that was some scenery , I could feel a touch of vertigo when you where on that cliff edge , what a stunning location , especially that hanging lake . Great video thanks
Thank goodness you guys are in the photography world. Its so full of freakin snobs and wanna be's that i truly enjoy watching your stuff bro! Many greetings from Florianopolis Brazil! On Photo tour :-)
Love the chimey fairytale ethereal hero music when you display a finished image. I expect to see some knights of the round table tramping through the scene banging halves of coconuts together. And yes, to echo what I expect to be so much below, you're videos are a perfect combination of techy bits, classic B roll, and utter BS. Wishing you continued success. Missed Uncle Grumpypants in this one...oh, wait, there he is!
Great vlog as usual!. Funny, entertaining and interesting. Faroe Islands look great but with those cliff edges I'd have to update my life insurance first!!!!. Ill never think of sheep fur in the same light again. ha! Clothes are second place now!.
I do enjoy the humour in your videos Gavin. This one is no exception even if Uncle Grumpy only had a brief cameo role! So good to see people confident enough to not take themselves too seriously and yet still produce the goods when appropriate. Those islands look incredible and I only wish I could join you on one of your trips but sadly that is unlikely.
Hilarious, informative, interesting, beautiful, spectacular....gee how many adjectives can I squeeze in here? Rhetorical question, superb video! Thanks so much! For the sharing of your trials and tribulations and successes too!! Loved all of it!
@sonyalpha, if you're watching, Gavin "fototripper" Hardcastle is worthy. He has gone through thick and thin with his A7RII. Rain, snow, sleet and sand have not beat him down. He is deserving of promotional equipment if only to further prove Sony's quality and value to the professional photographer. 👌😉
If I’m having a bad time with my images or running out of ideas, after all Tunbridge Wells in the Uk is lacking trezmendous shots, I just click on one of your many hilarious vlogs and it refreshes my want to get out and try harder. Love it 👍👍
Big thank you for this video. I love it. It's a wonderful explain and working out lighting a scene. I feel so sorry for some thumbs down, because I can't understand why someone gave it.I enjoyed this video a lot.
Gavin, I’m thoroughly impressed not only with your RUclips channel but watching you shoot with the A7Rii. I think you more than anyone should get and deserve the A7Riv Without question without doubt Come on Sony invest in this legend on YT 🥂
Lunch? Picked eggs for everyone. Uncle grumpy would love the photo with just the tip lit up .😁 Some stunning photographs makes me want to get out with my camera.
Wow, mind blown! I think you've just given away a big secret about how some amazing landscape photos are taken (including your own). I have never thought of taking multiple shots of varying sunlight. Also , I've learnt in your previous videos how to bracket for long exposures and short ones (not just the -1,0,+1 ones) and bracketing polarizing filter shots too. I'm now really excited about taking multiple shots and blending them to my liking :-).
,Another cracking and highly entertaining video. You have a cheek charging $1 for your lens cloths I was in the Faroes and you can just pick them up for free pretty much any place some even have a brown pattern and enhanced smell.
Keep up the great work, you make me piss myself, very funny, wife says I never laugh, but you prove her wrong ! By the ways, your pics aren’t bad either. Keep the good stuff coming.
man what a day! fantastic photos as well! you've actually inspired me to get into the multiple-exposure thingy so ta for that. Cheers for the top qual content again!
Bloody he'll mate I'll take 30 lens cloths shipped to Aussie, With your scense of humor you could be a blooming Aussi Great pictures You'll have less probs with wind if you stop eating curries,
It is certainly appropriate that the angels sing when your finished images are presented! Since it was Paul's last workshop, could you please show his final image made while slipping over the edge of that cliff? Does the lanolin help with the waterproofing of that unmarked camera? Were any sheep injured when Adam harvested those cloths?
Wow amazing shots Gavin, they are absolutely stunning. Your friend on the cliff edge was a bit nerve wrecking to watch lol As for the lens cloths, you'll have to go to Donegal in Ireland for the finest woollen cloths, minus the shit. Lol
Fantastic shots. The one with the rainbow is glorious! Genuinely surprised the comments are subdued and no arguing about your little tomato troll fact 😂 im not falling for it either. God speed Jeff. I wish that was me 🤪
Marvelous!! There is no way in H-E Double hockey sticks I would get even remotely close to those cliffs edges like you guys were 😂 I'd faint and fall off for sure. Gorgeous shots as always 💞
I only need one of your 'Lens Cloths' for the front of my LUMIX FZ330! So can I get away with half the cost of shipping? LOL On a more serious not though, well done indeed for sticking it out in those conditions, and the scenery on the Faroe Islands is 'Other Worldly'..Truly breath-taking!
just had an Epiphany, dji has the fpv drone goggles , why not fpv camera goggles fully immerse into the camera lens, full oled display multi-million pixels perfect for that situation and also other shots you could be in a tent taking shots, controlling multiple cameras form a nice warm spot ? if its raining or snowing etc what do you reckon ?

Those aren't flees. What you're actually seeing are little micro-cleaners, similar to a land based version of the cleaner fish that clean a grouper's mouth. They make sure to remove all spots from the lens, while polishing any imperfections.
Love the lens cloth spoof, can you get one using Scottish wool? Keep up the great videos and as for the diet stick to the chocolate mate, over here on the east coast the local walmart has all kinds of British sweets gotta love it, and the local grocery even sells IRN BRU just what you need for fototripping.
Films for 15 minutes to show the light creeping across a sea stack and when it finally does he covers the whole thing with his plonkin' big finger! Brilliant! 😂
