Dare you to film the next one sitting in the ball pit at chuck e cheese. Bonus points if you keep asking the kids if they know who Busy Works Beats is.
I'm afraid customers are out of ideas, but only one, 'buy gear'. So what can you sell to people that already have everything, but don't use it after unboxing? It seems to be unboxing is what sells. What to put in the box, then?
I think it’s cool you’re trying to shake up the format. I think having a different backdrop behind you of the places you totally are has been a fun gimmick, like when you were totally at NAMM or how you were totally at the arcade for the second half of this video. Anyways, been enjoying the producer news, keep up the good work
This video was so relatable. I can’t take my phone out in public (let alone an actual camera) and take photos or videos without feeling like a criminal, lol
It's actually really cool vibe seeing you out and about shooting the video. Feels more personal and life-like. Like sitting beside a friend and shootin' the shit about music.
oh no, weaver is becoming and IRL streamer. We are doomed. Next thing he gonna end up harassing old people on streets, and make them buy teenage engineering stuff
3:00 i use blackhole (free, maybe mac only as well) in a complicated setup with hostingau, which allows me to record any audio from whatever but i do have to open audacity or logic or whatever and set it up and press record, but it is free and i’m poor so i can’t complain too much. i mainly use it for headphone correction on everything along with a limiter
I really liked this format. Sound wasn’t the best but please show us more of Honolulu, alternately the arcade background was cool, maybe show more backgrounds from Hawaii.
The only thing left is generative tools/A.I. refiners, and abstract stuff (I don't think virtual producing in a vision pro will ever take off or become efficient). I might be new on this channel but I have channels from 13yrs ago on here where I was developing music software and built out 25 or so titles, standalones, vsti's/vst's, etc. and BACK THEN most of us outfits were saying music production was running out of ideas lol. I am still amazed that new reverbs and delays and basic tools are still versioned and released to grab any money they can via packaging and marketing and endorsements. I have to eat my own words too because I have a good chunk of tools I bought, used once, and meh. It's good though, chances are YOU have everything you need to produce your ass off and it doesn't cost much anymore to have the necessities.
I am loving Zebralette 3 and spending a lot of time figuring out this puppy. Download the manual, and check out the developer's youtube site explaining bezier curves, connecting splines and morphing and the tools. They are pretty passionate about this synth. I am sold Hell the beta version runs on my ancient pc and you can easily work around the known issues. Stay focused on physics, music and organized noise, ignore the drama
U-He Zebralette has been free and will remain free. So when then beta period ends, you can keep using the final release version and you do not have to pay. If you want more functionality, then you can buy the big Zebra 3 when that is released. But Zebralette is basically Zebra Light and has always been freeware.
Bird's Rolling Sampler seems to do a similar thing to this Soundpaste on Windows. I've only used it in my DAW but the installer came with the option for a standalone version
Zebrellet 2 and 3 are always going to be free. Its a baby version of the Zebra 2 (and soon i hope) Zebra 3. But yeah, its kinda complex in a not fun sort of way
if i ever become a moderately famous music producer slash commentator i hope i can have kids so busy can love them way more than i will or ever could ❤
used to love ripx but the update to the daw was buggy and messed with the stem seperation algo. Kinda disappointed this is what they're sinking their time into. I get some people might like the interface but my main use for it was just stem separation. Switched to UVR and it was exactly what I was looking for
I have that Arturia MK3 it does not have DAW integration for Reaper (WTF, there's Bitwig and there's no Reaper?). There are workarounds but I can't be bothered, so I don't use advanced features at all.
I bought Triaz when it was still a Kontakt instrument, and it's a really good drum sampler. The stock library of samples is some of the best I've seen, and you can ofc use the samples in whatever sampler you'd like. I've mostly transitioned to using only Microtonic and XO, but I still use the stock Triaz samples in XO. I only switched to Microtonic and XO because it's usually faster to make the sounds I'm going for in Microtonic, or to find the right sound in XO. If you can't shell out for those, Triaz is a great alternative.
you know I never look at software these days, since I’m a lifetime non pro do nothing I think I’ll put my piracy gloves back on. Thanks wb I’m gonna steal from em.
There already exists a perfectly good solution for getting audio into your DAW on Windows. Virtual Audio Cable. You might be too young to remember double-cassette player boom boxes (or ghetto blaster... depending on which coast you lived on ;) ... You want a copy of your boy's new jam he just picked up? No problem. Press play on cassette 1. Press record on cassette 2. To get any audio into your DAW: 1) You set your system audio to "Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable)" and you set your DAW to record on Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable). 2) Start recording in your DAW. 3) Play whatever audio you want to record. DONE.
This vlog'ish format is fun and it might work well for other type of content but for news the audio and constant offtopic stuff gets a bit annoying.. But for things like "Spotify is the devil" or whatever it could be cool.
Thought you were in Hawaii? I was expecting a surfs up "live from a wave near you" production... or meanwhile on volcano cam... 😜 Good episode I don't want you going hungry, All best 🖖👍 😁
even Espen Kraft couldn't make the triaz interesting. it seems like something I should want and find useful but it strikes me as so meh and I can't figure out why.
“Went to the moon…”….You got there and fell over flat too? You don’t have to be hard on yourself about it. Your self-conscious embarrassment was good entertainment. Plus you still had all the normal coverage. Good stuff.
sorry to disagree again but if you mix it to sound good on your dog poop bass heavy monitors the bass will not come out right in a car or on a phone... I feel using headphones and monitors with a sub is a good idea and only so you can also feel the sound more but I'm not really sure just speaking from my personal experience.
I'm seeing way too many similarities between the audio and video game industry. It's all copy and paste, remastered and remade b.s. I've seen nothing groundbreaking or innovative!!!!
Zebralette 3 didn't last long for me as i) it crashed and took Reason with it (it is a Beta) but also, as you noted ii) it is just fiendishly obtuse. Maybe it needs to be that to be powerful, or maybe it is just reaching. And yes, despite all the boot-licking from Effluencers, RIP-X seems a bad joke - or a perfect joke on the credulous if you are thinking like me. Same with speaker foofies. Really, if you wanted your speakers to sound different, insert an EQ curve. If you want a bit of NS-10iness, look up NS-10 curves and approximate that. It is interesting and can see you change things in your mix. It deffo doesn't make mixes better or faster - what a stupid tagline - again for the credulous. So yup Devs are devoid of devastating dramatic dudery, dropping instead to drippery for dumb doofuses to drum up duckets in DAWville. 🙂

Unreal
Ouch. So unpopular. Delete the channel.
Well, he bounced back
On God

weaver cleans his car windows with butter
Dare you to film the next one sitting in the ball pit at chuck e cheese.

Then the following one will be from the back of a cop car
I'm afraid customers are out of ideas, but only one, 'buy gear'. So what can you sell to people that already have everything, but don't use it after unboxing? It seems to be unboxing is what sells. What to put in the box, then?
It feels nice being in the car with you weaver
Remember that time Weaver did a video at Dave and Busters? Wild stuff.
i'll never forget yesterday
lives in hawaii --> goes to dave n busters
I think it’s cool you’re trying to shake up the format.

Im def gonna b expecting more Dave & Busters streams going forward
Appreciate the shout out for SoundPaste :)
It's actually really cool vibe seeing you out and about shooting the video. Feels more personal and life-like. Like sitting beside a friend and shootin' the shit about music.
in the field reporting is why i'm here
That attorney stories remind me of Idiocracy (2006) movie. And the more we live, the less funny that movie becomes XD
oh no, weaver is becoming and IRL streamer. We are doomed. Next thing he gonna end up harassing old people on streets, and make them buy teenage engineering stuff
Can't wait until next week's live from Chuck E. Cheese episode
l hope next one is filmed at the gym
I definitely agree with you on a lot of things and appreciate the hilarious and honest content.

Blackhole lets you record any audio from your computer directly into your daw for free. For windows you have voicemeeter banana which is also free.
RipX adding AI to their product name and then releasing it on Vision Pro is peak chasing the trends
You need to take us to the beach for a Weaver Beats barbecue.
was half expecting a SUPER OFFICIAL
If the autocorrect on the midicard kb is good, maybe I'll get a couple... can you chain them? I could chain a 88 note necklace
I really liked this format. Sound wasn’t the best but please show us more of Honolulu, alternately the arcade background was cool, maybe show more backgrounds from Hawaii.
Do the next one in that strip club where the lawyer bought wings to avoid jail time (while eating wings)

I loved this
Weaver influencer arc has just started.
MidiCard - are you sure that's not made by Teenage Engineering?
My roommate in college worked at Dave n Busters shit was insane.

I like the day in the life/ music news. Good content
I heard BWB say he loves Flappy Bird more than you do!
THEY ARE RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS

3:09 oh YO! You bringing that John Mullany Look (but with a hat and beard)

rewind is also good for that, similar to the soundpaste usecase

as a weak minded fool I always appreciate your recommendations
That drag and drop audio thing is built into Reaper, if I recall correctly.

I wish i had an even smaller midi controller that you need a microscope and tweezers to use.
Publish the 10 page manifesto!!
Best music/audio news channel! Stay uncensored

This video theme is genius
even Espen Kraft couldn't make the triaz interesting. it seems like something I should want and find useful but it strikes me as so meh and I can't figure out why.
I'm all in favor of you hitting the road sometimes like that. Switching it up.. Keeping us on our toes.
"kinda wish we could have this on windows"

Reaper records audio from your pc. Other daws dont?
The more complicated, the better.

The nerds on Reddit will like the Midicard. Because its "dAwLeSs" brah

Bruh Zebralette 3 is not complicated
WE NEED MORE DAVE AND BUSTER NEWS
