Fisker Karma - Futuristic noise!

I have recorded a black Fisker Karma during a good cause event in The Netherlands. The Fisker Karma is a plug-in hybrid luxury sports sedan. The Fisker Karma features the world's largest seamless solar glass roof for a production vehicle. Despite its eco-friendly background the Karma features a 125 mph (201 km/h) top speed and is capable of reaching 60 mph (97 km/h) from a standstill in 5.8 seconds. The Fisker Karma has a specially futuristic noise!

One of these passed me at a crosswalk yesterday and I seriously thought I heard a UFO or something. It was pretty cool.
The sound is fake though
The Fisker sounds so damn cool. I didn't realize it made a sound like that under heavy acceleration!
That sound is the electric engine
@@Fillo. no, the "exhaust" are actually speakers that make the sound.
Now, Imagine being scared of UFOs, your car broke at a lonely road at night, and a Fisker Karma is coming but you can only see it light and hear that noise, hahaha would be scary as hell XD

I live in Sneek in the Netherlands and in my town there is also someone with a black fisker karma. I see him regluary drivin to the supermarket :p

I love unique vehicles and this is one of them. That fucking sound is amazing like a city power generator but with a more futuristic sound.

Personally, I don’t like the pedestrian warning sound on my Karma (it’s kind of embarrassing and in my opinion, it cheapens the car) so I disabled it. Here is how I did it.
The entire process took about 10-15 minutes.
By the way, my mechanic suggested I just unplug the speaker wire from the back of the speaker but I didn’t want to risk activating a Check Engine light (every time that light comes on, its costs me an arm and a leg)!
I purchased a roll of Gorilla tape (I’m sure duct tape works just as good).
I had my local mechanic raise my Karma 6 ft. in the air (I bought him a large pizza for letting me use his hoist).
I located the front and rear speakers under the car (both are located near each bumper).
The speakers are both housed inside a small square plastic box. I used a Philips screw driver (4 screws on each speaker) and removed the plastic cover.
Once the speaker was exposed, I cut several small pieces of tape (about 8-10 on each speaker) and completely covered the speaker! Then, I did the same thing, closing off the inside of the vented cover that protects the speaker. I put the cover back on. Turned the car on and… it worked PERFECT!!!
You can’t hear a thing on the outside. Nothing like a quiet electric Karma at slow speeds.

I just saw one of these for the first time yesterday
I know these cars are crap, but the Karma Revero is supposed to be better. Love the spacecraft noise it makes. Someone please tell me if the resurrected version is any better.
Fiskers are so elegant and impressive sound. Wow a Shelby Cobra or perhaps an AC Cars at 0:52 :0.

I like this car and I also like how it moves on the road...Now It's futuristic, in 5-6 year it will be the standard! Nice video! +1
