- Well isn’t it just the cutest little thing you ever did see? John has added a new bundle of joy to his RC collection and he’s so excited about it! The new addition to his family of crawling rigs is the Element RC Enduro24 Sendero RTR. This little rock crawler just looks like pure fun and comes from a reputable brand. In this video John cuddles up with this truck and tells you about its important features and takes it for a little crawl right on his workbench. Is this a rig to keep in the family or toss out with the diapers? John will give you his opinion and you’ll know if the Enduro 24 is right for you by the end.
Note: Yes we are aware that this rig’s platform is shared.

I love my scx24. I run mine indoors and outdoors. Best for parts mods availability, and runs great. What is really lacking, but that Holmes could change is available motors for upgrades.
Haha! Can you please explain where RC truck babies come from?! Haha 😂
It’s what happens with a 1/5 scale truck rear ends another one fifth scale truck really hard and fast

John has lost it, probably to much solder fumes.
My buddy came by yesterday for the first time since the pandemic, he brought two Axial SCX24s with him. We went out in my back yard, went over the levee down by the river, and had a blast for about a half hour. My buddy is from Chico so I talked him into giving me a ride to AMain and had full intentions of buying an SCX10. But the only 1/24th scale trucks they had in stock were two Enduro24s. So I bought one. I wanted to buy a spare battery, but they had none in stock. Charged up the battery and took it out in my buddy's back yard where he has a few small piles of rocks to climb, and a couple cut off tree stumps. My brand new Enduro24 wouldn't even trim to run straight, and it barely turned left at all. So it was a lot of turn right, back up, turn right, back up. With a quick glance and diagnostic I assumed the servo horn was one tooth off. Since I it was only 2 hours old at that point, I was only a mile from AMain, and had no tools with me I took it back. Within 5 minutes they fixed the servo horn issue. Took it back to my buddy's house and we had a nice little crawl session. For the most part the Enduro24 would climb over most anything the SCX24 would, and sometimes easier due to it's softer tires. Except the Enduro24 would high center in places the SCX24 wouldn't. And going through the lawn the Enduro24 had a very difficult time when the SCX24 would just plow through it. I did notice, as you mentioned, that when it gets in a bind it doesn't have enough power to do anything. But realized that's probably a good thing, it's not liable to break itself that way. Personally I hate the "paint job" on the Enduro24 and plan to mask off the windows and just paint the whole thing matte olive green. I originally thought about getting a 2S battery for it, but think I'll stick with 1S. I got about 45 minutes play time and it was still going when I started to get cold and shut it off. And sticking a 2S in it would probably end up burning something out or breaking something. I plan to order an SCX24, probably the 67 Chevy truck, just in case a friend comes by, it's always funner with a friend.
We need Holmes Hobbies motors for 1.0 Rigs
If you have a scx24 you can install a revolver 380. You need a specific motor mount and you got to toss the electronics. Best mod I ever did to all my scx24's
gripking131313 ..Might check that out ..need new electronics for a ecx barrage ..was gonna do the Tamiya Gearbox Mod...good to have options. Thanks for the tip.
Wish you would've gotten an scx24, it blows the element out of the water. Either way I love the video and am happy you're getting into the 1/24 scene!
Wow you maybe right. I am looking to get in the 1/24 crawling stuff and would love to see a VS video about the 2.
@@zedorda1337 look up 2FM RC. He has a good comparison between the two. Also I believe RC Review has a good comparison shoot out between a few 1/24 scale crawlers. Hope this helps! 👍
I bought my daughter one at Jefferson state jamboree. The next day after it’s first charge she took second in a ten gate tiny comp. it’s definitely a cool tiny truck.
Does this mean you might start making motors / esc's for these asewome little trucks?
Hopefully 👍
Hahaha🤣 oh great,John has finally lost his marbles🙈🥰
You need to get out a little more. Lol Starting to slip just a bit? Don't worry I'm FKN crazy tooooo. They r cool, love my 1/24 Deadbolt.
You can never have enough gripage !! I need 1 of these just for the scale garage box lol... 1/24 scale is great fun. I'm lovin the SCX24, fits in my regular backpack with jacket and snackys mmmm so I can RC every time im out
I have the axial dead bolt in 1/ 24th scale and it's a great crawler & even better since I put aluminum upgraded suspension shocks bumpers bead locks & tires. It's more than doubled it's cost but now it's a beast worth it all day.
I do have one and it is fun. I run mine on 2s and then it has the wheel speed needed. I also modified the servo mounting by adding a spacer under the servo. This raised it about an 1/8 of an inch and increases travel for the front. The pumpkin doesn't hit the servo horn anymore.
Thanks for the tech tip. I milled the pumpkin and horn for clearance.
That was a crazy moment. I liked it.
Switched over to 2s with the help of a BR Mini ESC 🔥. Also added a 21,500rpm 050 motor w/10t pinion for that extreme control and punch. I hope this convinces you to make a 050 sized revolver/puller pro/crawlmaster motor! ✌️🤙
DSM outdoors has a recovery strap that works like a winch, it works perfect 👍
Just bought one, my first.
Love the little trucks really wanna see your opinion on an axial 1/24 scale, I love mine and I think it’s the best little truck you can get also takes cars of some of the little truck problems
Check out the scx24 please.. out performs the element 24 in every way in my opinion and we love them.. we also would love a hh micro revolver for them
so cute n nice video
I'll be buying one of these ones after work today, hope to see some micro motor upgrades to help with that slow speed startups, lol
Another reason I mess with you and your products 😂 informative and funny as hell lol
😄....mi hai fatto ridere tanti ...molti simpatico....bel video ...ciao dall'Italia
Yeah my son is 6 he has a ECX temper gen 2, 2wd Slash, Arrma Granite 550 mega and has ran our Typhon 3s and Hoss. He's only broke one driveshaft on the ECX and a bumper on my Axial 55ford.
I think you are going crazy
Please start making small motors!!😀🤘 love your videos and motors!
OMG. I am so glad it is Friday. You are so Entertaining. OMG hahahahahahaahah Love ya
hahahaa
Hi John, please put in a 2s Lipo. I have moded suspension, and moved rear weight to the front.
smokin sumpthing good
I been telling everyone that the element 1/24 was the way to go w the new 1/24 craze compared to everything else. I've heard some people pull motors from other eyes to get more power. Is this purchase really for the H. H. R&D department to maybe make some micro motors??? Hmmm.... Anywho you guys replaced an 8t CM for me recently bmand I just wanted to say the motor did great at its first comp and first run at joe Collins place last weekend. I ran it for 3+ hrs straight beating the hell out of it and even doing some bashing and motor temps in my trx4 didn't climb over 125f w an ambient temp here in Florida of around 82f and 80% humidity. Next weekend we start the winter series and that comp will b the true test. Just wanted to say thanks and let u know the motor is awesome and I'm proud to power my truck to the podium w HH electronics
Well you're completely wrong and you're telling people to buy a far inferior product because you like element. Element is great in the 10th scales but this is a rebranded RGT/EXC barrage with a new body on it that's it. There's tons of head to head comparisons with the scx24 to prove my point.
I love my 1/24 and my indoor scale coarse... just wish you would offer some motor support
Man...you got me crackin' -up !! LoL !!
You ARRR so funny brother ! 🤣 I am shocked that I didn't think of this first !! Dang, ya did it again 😂🤣😭
"🤯" - Kablooey ! Who needs status-quo stand-up....?!? - WE have
MR. Holmes !! 👍 ~Thanx again John, for all you do !! 😉 🇺🇸
I am getting a scx24 on the First. Most likely the Gladiator.
I have three of the SCX24’s. Much difference in handling/quality in these? Worth getting a 4th...? Haha. My wife might kill me.
Dude stay with the axial stuff this rig is just a clone of the rgt 1/24 scale rigs oh, I don't have one but it doesn't look like it's anywhere the quality of the axial stuff
Haaabaaa. The rgt 's r junk. No wheel speed , no power good grip, and the radio sucks. Yea I bought one. The axial is badass. I put a new servo and dynomite motor i my axial and now it's a better beast.ive go 3 axial and the rgt. I had to bring them out slowly too. Believe dat... I do like the garage tho.
The scx24 is much better, i have both
That’s it John has lost it he’s been in quarantine way too long LOL
Are you planning on making custom crawler motors for these rigs?? I'm like you brother I don't care to much for lil trucks / cars. I'm used to 1/10" - 1/5" like Arrma Granite notorious and the huge outcast 8s bashers and the red cat wendigo and red cat gen 8 which is awesome 😎 lol. But I been wanting to try out other things as well.. and I came across the small Axials and this lil fella lol. But I'm lil nervous spending $100+ on a rig there isn't much aftermarket support for.. now if you was to build a bad ass motor for em I'll snag one up lol
Being made now
I got the RGT, looks to be the same truck but different body. I put a Ford F250 body on it and moved the battery to the back of the truck bed. I can't remember if I moved the shocks for a lower stance lol.
I've got a 1/18 crawler with an O20 motor, so about half the length of that, And it is Perfect for a backyard trail, the "poor" performance just makes you have to drive better 😉
I've added a lot of weight to mine with a light rig and a 1300 2s, for a total of around 440 grams.... and now the scale performance is Excellent
I picked one up. Went with the scx24 way more mods and upgrades.
i just bought a highly upgraded trx4 that has 3 times the body roll as this little guy just sitting still on flat ground steering it back and forth... what could be causing it and how do I fix it I am new to crawling and didn't know it was a bad thing till I saw you mention it here in this video LMAO!
Madness 🤣🤣🤣
Tiny Trucks! "Consuming my Brain!" Mounting a '66 Suburban 1/25 model body, looks like most of the interior will fit too.
going to club !!!!! Sorry Element you are not old enough ....... lol
I need some of what's he's on
What's your take on this vs the axial vs the team associated one?
This is the team associated one element is Team associated and it's not new they just lazily rebranded RGT they just slapped a new body on it. The scx24 kills this rig you can watch tons of videos of people doing head to head comparisons.
Yes it's cute!!
Haha that intro was funny as fuck
I have the enduro 24 and scx24. I like both. What do you think of the axial scx24?
I have the axil and the rgt. The axial is way above the rgt in quality period. U have to get one and do a comparison. Also check out the tioga from team associated. It's great. I find my self driving it more than the bigger ones. It is a great truck. 1/12 scale.
That into was quite silly. 😆
Hi John. A question regarding the roc willys jeep; can it be classed as a class 1? Thanks!😊
Up Next the crawl master pro and custom ESC for the 1/24 scale
This is just a copy of the rgt rigs, kind of disappointed with element for doing this rather than coming up with something new.
Made by thunder tiger, who owns associated and element
@@johnrobholmes so thunder tiger owns them all?
Completely agree. Low-effort release from Element. IMO, seems like a cash grab after the SCX24 was a big success for Axial. And sad to see some people falling all over themselves because it's under the Element brand. If it was released under a Chinese brand (e.g. RGT) with the same exact parts and quality, I can pretty much guarantee those people wouldn't give it a second look.
If you like this rc John you should drive a Scx-24 and the 1/36 scale orlandoo rock bouncer.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHA!!!!!! Thanks for the humor!!!!!!
Never been interested in small scale rigs, but seen enough reviews of this rig that I've been interested in it. What I'd do would require me to re-engineer it (prob a lot) so I could adapt a (Revell/Monogram/AMT, etc, etc) stationary model truck body with as much details as possible (like interior) onto it's frame. Then I'd bomb it all around the apt. during the winter months. :-)
🤣🤣 Awesome landing with the manual there. Hey man where did you get the 1/24 scale Tacoma body you are talking about?
still on the fence about going 1/24 but have to say that's not an original design from element/ecx. it's actually a modified version of the ecx barrage 1/24.
Brother you freaking crack me the hell up. And your name. Man straight out of a porno. "Hi I'm John Holmes." I'm waiting for the boingboing-chicka-boingboing music to start. All kidding aside love your channel brother.
So the body is the only thing that is original about the product. The chassis is a mirror image of the RGT adventure v2
Made by thunder tiger, who owns associated and element
Dude that chassis looks identical to my RGT v2.
Yep, its made by the parent company of Element.
That went on and on waaaay too long. Just the way we like it John 😂
Not sure what just happened
Is this a week attempt to tell the wife you want a another baby. Ive got the axial 24 one it not bad.
I have an ftx mini land rover have just upgraded all the electrics shocks are next for it, are you going to make a motor for these
Ya I enjoy down to 1/18 maybe but theses are indoor rigs, i like to run on my outdoor 1/10 course
BE AWESOME YOU BUILD A MOTOR FOR IT TOO. I LIKE MINE, I TOOK IT TO WORK AND HAVE A BLAST WITH IT AT THE LUNCH HOUR.
Does it have a 3 wire servo?, it looked like it, but usual AIO reviever/esc types use a 5 wire
Are you going to build motors for these?
Trap as needs to make TRX24
Traxxas TRX24
I purchased one of the elements... I wasn't satisfied to be honest. I was fitting a 40's Ford pick up body to it(diecast) , being very heavy , I had to change the spring rate dramatically. Which I achieved. But, soon after I purchased an axial scx24. I found myself enjoying the axial much more. I did rob the element for it's wheels n tires the moment I opened the axial. Never used the stockers. And with that change I sadly have put the axial tires n wheels on the element and went back to the stock body with the flares cut off.and ignored it. So that's where I'm at with the element. Axial just has too many upgrades . Nothing can really compete with it imo. Just the two cell vs. one cell battery is huge to me. And to it's available performance. The pumpkins on the axles. The element has biggins. Can't really mod that. The front suspension has alot of issues ALOT. Everything hits something else and needs alot of refinement with its layout. So there's a great mod for someone to develop..
So this isn’t a rebranded or redesigned RGT or Hobbyplus? Definitely comes with the same transmitter as the Hobbyplus.
The parent company of Element is the OEM of the RGT and Hobbyplus. Its a small world in the RC industry.
@@HolmesHobbies Uhh! Thanks a lot for the info!!! Didn't even know that RGT and HobbyPlus where 'in family'. Thank you! It makes sense now.
Is this pile of rocks RGB? Asking for a friend. PS cheers from Oklahoma.
Got the rgt v2 and the element (same vehicle)
Mods:
5v bec
2s lipo
10 bb's in each wheel
Scx24 can't keep up
My wife see me watching you video and she thinks you have issues...lol. personally like she things she doesn't.....lmao......
Idk it's original but RGT has the same 24th scale, Electronics and all. I have a axial scx24 deadbolt and I feel like it's way better than that.
Bro are we a lil over medicated when you made this oh my god im dyin
If your gonna run a micro crawler it's gonna have to be a scx24 hands down. Lots of after market parts support, has worm gear differentials, and best part is you can toss the electronics and with the help of a bell motor mount you can install a 380 revolver. On a side note there's nothing original about that mini enduro. It's a rehashed chinese micro truck. F
Oh no! John Holmes is losing it guys! It's over.. Who's going to bring us Kickass motors now????
WHY ISN'T JOHN IN THE MOVIES???
Are you seriously asking why John Holmes isn't in the movies ? Pretty sure he was in the 70's.
@@hankdoral lolololololollll
Hey mr Holmes:, I find the Sacrifice is to great still for the money , they are under powered , poor articulation as Suspension at this scale is still poop really ... and for the $100 plus , I'd rather spend $100+ on my 1/10 rigs , An buy "A Toy" @ wally world $20 and not be to disappointed as its a $20 toy.
However A Cheaper Kit form of these would be great as Most people have there own radios OR at minimum Better stuff they have removed or collection of stuff from there upgrades ..
Winter in the garage as a kit , $45/55 put in your own Radio n battery , then its a great winter play toy.
Just IMO..
Cheers 🥂 .
Tc everyone and stay safe an RC on !!
You know start making new motorsport
Get us a decent motor for the 1/24 scale if anyone can do it it’s you.
Thats nothing but a rebranded RGT
Nothing new about that rig besides the body, should have gotten the scx24 because the element is a rebranded RGT/EXC.
It's finally happened. YOU have officially spent way too much time indoors.
😂😂😂
🤣
Wait is this whole video a skit?
LOL
This truck is a rgt v2 rebranded i have 2 of them.
Wow cocaine is a hella of a drug.
What the fuck is this intro? 😬
