I would want a case as a option. Will the RTR be conformal coated?

Yes a heatsink style case would definitely be worth haven as a option. Id even say to put 4mm buckets on the motor and power spots so the customer can plug the motor directly into the cased esc and can also make the power wire to any length with bullets so it can be modified easy for different purposes. Just a thought.
Yes we all want a case/ heat shield.

Heatsink case yes please. Im really considering one of these for a new build. But it's going to be a cage rig with the electronics visible. I'd like to have it look cleaner.

@jerryvolpini7987 we already have the v3 that's smaller. This one has huge mosfets. Problem with going any smaller than the v3 is issue with heat and they won't take 2200kv very well

Does this esc come with the restrictor/ capacitor to help protect direct power servos?
@juniorroye6488 no, that needs to be inside the servo or inline. Put a 4s zener on this model and using 6s will literally make a fire. Can't have both 6s rating and 4s clamping.
Case
I got both V3 combo 2300kv and gets hot, any suggestions, also battery get drawn fast, also battery gets warm too
Future me might be upset I didn’t grab one right away when inflation forces pricing over $200.
@pocketfuloducks1062 the next round of QE is just starting.... every 4 year fed cycle is driving inflation more and more. The next 12 months are probably gonna scream.
