I wish everyone would stop comparing this to Evanescence. The point of a cover is to be original, not to sound like the artist who originally recorded it. Jealousy isn't a pretty color on anyone. Madilyn, you killed this song. Amazing voice :)

I don't know what the hell these ignorant people are saying. Your voice is angelic and is paired beautifully with this melody. And as for the tempo, I think it was perfect, you gave yourself plenty of phrasing room to express yourself in every line. Incredible cover. 10/10

I know quite something about singing and i must mention 2 special ''WOW'' moments: First is 1:21-1:27 especially that ending, that's a very valuable texture in your voice. Second is 2:26-2:34 you really pulled it off well. Very strong and very balanced. Like an experienced succesful diva!

Absolutely STUNNING voice !! The power, passion and emotion conveyed is extraordinary .
I love Madilyn and all of her songs,, but as a big Evanescence fan I prefer the song to have the original mournful tone rather than turning it into a more pop song. This version is great but personally I feel it doesn't convey the meaning of the lyrics. It would be like having a heavy metal version of Sia's elastic heart.

She has a beautiful voice, that's undeniable. But this song needs that bucket of emotion. And the ring of the piano man, thats another reason this is one of the most difficult songs to adequately cover, for a lot of even very talented vocalists.

This song is definitely made to fit a darker, thicker voice with a more rocker edge to it, not so much a light pop voice. But still it's a good job, given the fact this song is incredibly hard to sing (when you do it well).
