Did you watch the game? What did you think? If not, what did you do instead?
México is STEELERS country!
Was a great game
Yes and betted on it.
Yes I did. I saw the game. It was amazing... great!!!! Sorry but for me the halftime was ugly.
Had to work, but happy because the pats lost. Everyone I asked who they wanted to win said anybody but the pats.
Hey it's Dan the Canadian here, and I've just got to say Greg and Hillary were all over the place getting interviews! I think if youtube doesn't work out they both have a bright future as sports commentators.
Also, the crowd in that building was intense!! I didn't know there were so many NFL fans in Mexico. And the Mexican guy at our table kept buying us beers, so I was a bit drunk by the end of the game.
FLYYYY LIKE AN EAGLE! 🏈🦅🍺
hahaha love this comment! Thank you so much Dan! But isn't Jon the sports commentator out of the three of us!?
The New Travel Mexico ... That is the reason why NFL make some games in Mexico city.. Probably in the future mexico could host a NFL team...
Great Job , we love NFL in my opinion the Most Popular sports in México is Soccer, Box, NFL and Baseball in that order. Am so happy for the MLB Mexican Series here in Monterrey the Stadium is sold out for the 3 games.
Hi my name is ivan, i am a mexican immigrant that moved from mexico city to the USA in 2005, i just found your channel about 2 hours ago and ive been watching all this time, i can not express HOW DAMN HAPPY my heart is to see this channel, i miss my country so much and i love it, and i love that you guys are breaking all the stereotypes that media and uninformed people have put out there about the gorgeous place of mexico. This channel made me tear up because it hurts to see people talk bad about my country when living in the USA and is so refreshing to see you 2 guys enjoy how beautiful my people and country are. Muchas gracias por este canal y por ensenarle al mundo que tan chingon el pais de Mexico es. Gracias de corazon y sigan poniendo videos y viajando por todo Mexico.
I needed this comment this morning amigo! Thank you!!
Mexico has a great tradition in Football. For example the UNAM stadium was created to play Football (not soccer) since 1952. There are NFL TV transmissions since more than 40 years ago. For example check this out ruclips.net/video/0sOI0f7pGs8/видео.html 90 years of Football tradition at UNAM.
I had no idea it was created for Football! I knew they had a team, but I didn't know it was that old!
Kinetic Kennons Yes, the Pumas Football team is the origin of all colors ans symbols the University has. You can find the importance of it represented in the Central Library mural. It is the only not profesional sport in México which is capable of full out a stadium, particularly in Poli vs UNAM classic.
EXACTLY
Yes México has a American football college league since the late 40's. Some facts that Americans didn't have any clue. Plus there's is some other regional reams all around the country. Like in this case in Baja California state we have football since the 80's
P.S. Congratulations Gringuitos!!! Are you ready for Fame😀?? I Googled Super Bowl videos and your post came up in the list of broadcast Interviews 😀😀😀👍
Oh wow!! That is pretty crazy!!
I love you video, mte. I wish we mexicans and americans could all get along and appreciate each others culture.

Great Post
Just gained a subscriber with this post shows the positive interaction from Mexico w/ American culture for us curious about relocating to Mexico unlike a lot of the negativity to u see
Saw you guys yesterday at the Soumaya Museum, I was too shy to say hi tho. :(
Ah man!! We would have loved to meet you!! :) Don't ever hesitate:)
I'll try yo say hi next time I see you two! Hopefully soon! Love you guys!
Before the Olympics in Mexico, American football was more popular than soccer( not sure if it was number one because of boxing) and has been played in Mexico for over a hundred years. Mexican college football has been played since the 1920s and they also have a professional League.
That is pretty crazy! All of the football talk has me wanting to go to a UNAM game!
NFL in Mexico is a big business. In fact, every year some teams come to play in the Aztec stadium as there are many fans here. Greetings gringuitos
I would love to go to an NFL game at Azteca!
xtreme- What!? lol
No les entiendo nada ... Pero amo que disfruten mi pais...👍🏼👍🏼👋🏼
jaja muchas gracias Abisa!
Great video, Goyo! The food looks delicious...food truck-type food? Yum, yum!
Texas BBQ style:) Similar to Rudy's BBQ. I don't know if they had that in Austin or Ft. Worth or not, but they are all over Texas now.
I've tried it in Houston. It IS really good!
Patriots fan here ,great game except still waiting for that 4th quarter last 5 minute Patriot magic , glad that in Mexico I saw some Patriots fans in their gear there ,looked like a great place to watch the game.In downtown Boston I had someone yelling fly like an Eagle at me ,all that flapping distorted the (space time continuum ) Star Trek reference .The Superbowl Parade would of run right by my building , it was wonderful last year .I love a parade :( Well Philly fans ,enjoyed a very good game ,it was their time . Glad you had fun .
You are a good sport!! "Space time continuum"!! 🤣 That is hilarious! Those fans are certainly passionate!
Américan "footall" has been played in Mexico for nearly sixty years, watch some Mexican movies from the fifties and (as usual), you'll be surprised. Politécnico vs pumas de la UNAM, un clásico. Is just that we are soccer and "beis bol' lovers. We love sports a lot as you are learning. Saludos.
That is so cool! I would love to go to a UNAm game!!
That was a lot of fun guys, thanks! When you guys go back to Polanco there is a really cool speakeasy called Jules Basement. It’s underground and you go in through an unassuming refrigerator door at the back end of a Mexican food restaurant. Speakeasys were clandestine back in the era of prohibition so they had to find ways to disguise and conceal their locations. You could go eat at the restaurant and never know what lies beneath you. The cocktails are amazing and the ambiance is very chill. Make sure you make a reservation if you go. Check out this guide on CDMX’s speakeasys. Hanky Panky is another cool one but that's in Colonia Juarez.
theculturetrip.com/north-america/mexico/articles/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-best-speakeasys-in-mexico-city/
Thank you for this amigo! We will have to try and go back there soon!!
Goyo you work so hard.... thank you very mucho your videos are gorgeous. Congratulations Güerita y Goyo... I appreciate your work and my love for you are bigger.
Thank you so much Cony! I don't know how "hard" I work, but I do pretend to work hard;) haha
Love watching all your adventures 😊 Happy Monday to you both 😃
Thank you Wendy! #FelizLunes
Good to know that los Gueros Goyo and Hillary had such a great time in Mexico!!!
El gran clásico del football mexicano es el colegial entre Pumas (UNAM) vs Burros Blancos (IPN), se pone muuuuy bueno, cheers!.
I'd love to try and go to that!!
Awesome video guys I knew football was big in Mexico since one of my cousins that lives in Mexico City use to play Football in La Preparatoria(high school) and in college, that was back in the 90s. Looks like an awesome place to eat, hangout and watch the games!! Keep up the good work amigo your videos are awesome !
Thank you so much amigo!! We always appreciate your support and your comments:)
I really enjoyed this Super Bowl, I think it was one of the best Super Bowls I watched. I think the difference was, intensity, the Eagles were just one notch ahead of the Patriots. And I think we've learned that Brady can not catch even the flu 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks guys, fun video 👍
haha man him trying to catch that ball was HILARIOUS
Wow! What a party! Enjoyed the experience. The BBQ looked so good!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank YOU Peggy! It was a blast, they know how to have a good time here!!

Thank you so much Arnold!!
We've been watching NFL games in México since late 60's, we are a huge fan base, the second country with more fans, i am a Cowboys fan, Dallas and Steelers are the most popular teams in México.
#GOCoyboys!! Since the 60's!? I had no idea!
Kinetic Kennons Yeah, we have 2 college leagues and a New profesional League, since the 30's Los Pumas and Politécnico have their classic, so we have a great football tradition and it is growing more, maybe 30 million fans en México, that is why we have NFL games in the Azteca every year.
it's Raiders
Don't know why, but raiders is the most popular team in México city at least. That's why they come to play here as locals
You need to go and check and visit the "Quetzalcoatl's nest" in mexico city, is not open to the public but I'm sure you can book a visit there...
Didn't Mike Corey just do a video there? We might wait a little bit since he just published his video. It does look amazing though!
Wow!! you guys had a lot of fun, that place was very nice to watch the game. I see the supper bowl is a big thing in Mexico, cool!! 🏈👌❤
Great Video, you guys are awesome.
Greg the girl from North México (maybe Monterrey) and some fellas are wrong, Football is very popular in México City and many states, in fact Pumas and Politecnico are older football teams that many others. Teams like Dallas, Pittsburgh, Raiders, Miami, Green Bay and SF has the whole fans groups, buen video saludos y que bueno por Philly eagles que ganaron.
Yes, NFL arrives in Mexico City, but not in Monterrey..
I’m from Glassboro Nj is close to Philadelphia like 30 min!!!! And here in philly is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody there so happy!!!! But is look more fun watching the game from Mexico City!! Cause eating tacos !! Cerveza and tequiLa mmmmm much better !!!!! Gracias Greg por compartir tus experiencias soy tu Fan!!!! I’m your fan and la guera too!!!
in mexico has all types of fans but Mexico is mainly divided between Dallas cowboys & Steelers which have the biggest following
The history of American football in Mexico goes back to the 60's in Mexico City. It was the most popular sport in the city.
I played american football for about 15 years since I was very young, but I leve it because I was not to big for my position (left Ofensive Tackle) and also beacuse I satrted studying Chemical Engineering. What attracted me to this sport was the hard hits and strategy and when I was kid I watched Walter Payton and Mike Singletary in that superbowl against the Patriots in 1985 and it was a complete shock for me, was a beautiful team and sport full of hits and big guys. Here in Mexico American football it is very popular for the last 35 years but no more than soccer, soccer is in our latin blood. Today I am practicing box that is one of the most popular sport in Mexico.
That's amazing man, I used to love Walter Payton! He was so smooth! I'd love to get into boxing (as we say it up north!) haha. I love the mental and physical strategy!
ok I got the name of the place where you watched the Super Bowl.I guess you did name the place ,but I wasn't paying attention. Thanks love your videos .
Saludos goyo y también a la güera, qué gusto saber que la pasan bien en mi país y en mi ciudad, gracias por mostrarle a muchos que somos mucho más que narcotrafico. Saludos wero
According to a couple of studies, american football ranks amongst the top sports that Mexicans follow. There is a new pro league called the LFA, mainly based in Mexico City. There are also 2 college leagues, ONEFA and CONADEIP. Check them out.
Mexico has 28 million NFL fans, it´s BY FAR the largest market outside the USA.
Just look up when the Patriots went to Mexico City and how packed it was , NFL has a video up
Loving it! Gracias. :)
Saludos desde Paterson nj.u.s.a. ..vive la Vida gringos !!
Gracias por ver Mario!!
Patriots played down there, saw video following amendola going to different places in Mexico City toeet fans.
We love's the super bowl 😍 saludos goyo y wera
Gracias!!
Hi, I like you're channel a lot, keep doing it, I have a couple of recommendations the first is casa merlos it's a really good restaurant very traditional food there, the second is el huarache azteca if you go there try the huarache con mole and the last one is los machetes it's a quesadilla restaurant you won't be disappointed, I hope you try them and also that you like those places.
Hey guys! Football's been a big thing in Mexico for a long time, we have a college league that is actually great, but 3 years ago they introduced the professional American football league, and you can watch the games. The league is called LFA and most of the games are played at the Palillo stadium, near Cd. Deportiva subway station. The season is about to begin so if you have the chance to go to a game you should try it and take me with you. Go Ravens!
That is super interesting! I will have to try and get tickets to a game for sure!!
Kinetic Kennons sometimes you can watch up to 3 games with the same ticket, last year I went to a Mayas (my Mexican team) game, and had the chance to watch an LFL game, and another regular season game before the Maya's one. There are also some pig out food trucks on the parking lot, and the prices are quite reasonable. If you wanna go to a game let me know so I can join you.
That's cary!! When does the league start? Send me an email! KineticKennons@gmail.com
Handegg used to be huge, probably the most watched game in northern Mexico, my uncles and cousins used to hang out every sunday in my grandparents house to watch it, now it's all about football (soccer), the kids aren't interested in baseball or basketball or handegg anymore.
In two days you went from 30K to 32K subscribers, not bad at all.
Hot damn! haha
I think in general football has had some tradition here, it has been played for more than 100 years, actually one of the biggest crowds on the aztec stadium was for one game between IPN and UNAM, about NFL the biggest fans base are for Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers, Raiders and most recently for Patriots
Thats great restaurant lot fun nice people wow amazing
It was a blast! plus, the food is amazing!
I watched part of the game was working. went for the eagles too. games are fun especially at cowboys stadium or the new stadiums.
You guys don,t get miss anything do you?... Even if you're away from home, you get to have fun like home, that is pretty awesome!
We are always trying to find a way to have fun:)
Goyo! Don’t take it the wrong way ,but you do look like Leonardo DiCaprio! Better yet . He looks like you.
haha that's so funny! After watching this video I realized I need to cut my hair haha
Goyo is the chinese version of
Di caprio
great video dude love it
gracias amigo!!
Mexico has been playing American Football for a long time. They have their own pro teams. As for the NFL because of more game access it has become more popular and exciting to watch and follow. Expect the NFL to play 1-2 games every year in Mexico. This upcoming year 2018 season Estadio Azteca will host the KC CHIEFS vs LA Rams.
I will be subscribing after a couple of your videos that I have watched. I would really like to see you compare a salary range from Mexico and USA. I am not sure if you have already done that video but would really like to see a video like that.
Thank you so much Maria! You mean comparing similar job salaries between Mx and the US? Or just a general cost of living type video?
I mean comparing job salaries showing how the minimum wage per hr in Mexico compared to US.
Lol that was funny 😂 At the end
Yes I watched I’m so glad eagles want good game. And half time show was awesome
Like usual good video GOYO
nice game, good interview,i hope you can go to the game in the aztec stadium this year saludos greg hilary!!!
We definitely want to go to that game!!
you do have a Leo look, love your videos! Saludos a la huera
I think young people ALWAYS believe they are living the peek of everything. It has always being followed, difference is we are eating & drinking MUCH MORE YEAR BY YEAR BECAUSE OF THE SUPER BOWL. Justin Timberlake was amazing I agree 100% with you. Real talent no need for fireworks.
I think a similar statement can be said about older generations. "Everything was better back when...."
Looks so fun
There’s actually a restaurant called Pinche Gringos?
😂
Yes sir! and it;'s amazing haha
In the south, using Insurgentes to pass El Viaducto, then on small street between Insurgentes and Universidad.
Also the first one is near "la glorieta del scop" in Narvarte.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tengo 48 años y desde que tenía 10 que yo recuerde es super importante el super bowl, yo en lo personal le he ido siempre a los acereros de Pittsburg
I was in Philly when the Eagles won the game and it was crazy, yo estuve en Philadelphia cuando ganaron Las Aguilas y la ciudad quedo destruida
Only for my Patriots i suscribe to your youtube chanel... Go Pats.! Pats nation baby B)
Great video👍
Thank you Daniel!!
Saints Fan here. We will get the Cowboys on the schedule next year. See you next fall ;) WHO DAT!
haha! Saints fans are so passionate! I have family in La so I have no beef with the Saints! :)
Mexico deserve a NFL team
That would be amazing!!
That was fun to watch. I'm Boycotting The NFL until Kaepernick is rehired. But I had fun experiencing it through your video.
I definitely understand your stance! I read an article on Medium about this very thing yesterday actually.
Wait for the World Cup Mexico vs Germany hope you still in Mexico
what is the name of the place where you had BBQ and watched the Super Bowl .It looks like a very cool place to eat and watch games.
I don't think The Canadian was there just for the barbeque! 1:00
El football 🏈 americano desde mucho tiempo atrás hacido un deporte muy gustado en Mexico 🇲🇽 en la ciudad de México Y los estados del norte de el pais.
You can find old movie footage of colleguate fiitball being olayed in mexico from the 1950 i think. UNAM had a good team.
Am a big Dallas Cowboy fan y’all need to make a video about the Cowboys when the season starts again 👍🏽
Great video
What’s the name of the restaurant?
Hillary! Your from Dallas and have never been to an NFL game?!? WTF! Even I’ve been to a Cowboys game and I’m from lil ol Vernon BC Canada!
Man those tickets are pricey!! I (greg) have been to a game at the old stadium, but not the new one.
Go Hillary! You need to do a dance vid... you've got the moves!
Dance video coming soon!
If and when you visit QRO I'd love to be in one with Hillary!
DO IT!!! This needs to happen 😂
It was pretty cool I think. Even I got excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!
all the people telling you that American Football is recently getting big in Mexico are misinformed, just do a you tube search of "Historia del Clasico Politecnico vs UNAM" you will see College Football in Mexican Universities has been a thing since the 1930s, its just that Futbol or Soccer has always gotten more coverage, great video.
That;'s what I am learning as I am looking at the comments!!
ACTUALLY I thought exactly the same thing since I begin to watch their videos (that him looks like LEO DICAPRIO). saludos
Burros del Politécnico vs Pumas de la UNAM, a clasic for nearly sixty years Gueros!!!
Ok DiCaprio and Rose the barbecue looks delicious
I don't want to be Jack. He dies haha
Go EAGLES 🦅.. great game until the end. Great video.👍🏾
😂😂😂👍 enjoy this videos
Yo soy de Cowvoys, pero ahora de Egals!
I think the NFL is popular among certain cities but not in every part of the country. I agree with the girl from Monterrey who says is bigger in the North but I do think it is very popular iin Mexico City. It’s not that much as watched in the Southern states though.
That makes sense! I doubt it's that big in PV either
Podrías hacer un vídeo relación a los partidos de la selección mexicana vs usa
es una buena idea!
Arriba los vaqueros de Dallas!! (Aunque pierdan Ji ji).
Hi the new man 🤗Leonardo diCaprio 😉 wow amazing video was very funny I really enjoyed very much👍🏻by the way ...you are more very handsome 👊🏻
Awsome BBQ !!!
I always root for the underdogs. Good game. Let the best team win.
hey guys, what do you think of Mexican corn? not just the prepared corn but the actual kind of corn they use there. That's one of the things I miss the most that I can't get here in the states.
That's a good question. We don't eat much corn so I don't know that I have had corn besides elotes haha
I mean the elotes from street vendors with cheese and lime and chili powder, they are not the typical yellow sweet juicy corn we have in the states, it's white mealy and not sweet, did you notice the difference or no? that's the elote I was talking about
