Little disappointed we didn’t see a Lord general from the ig but that bane wolf/Sentinel gameplay was the next level
There's nothing like seeing great IG play. I loved the fact that the spotters got some love as well. They are a high skill, high reward unit that can be incredibly effective.
Ork: "Wait, you all want to play inquistors? There goes my nobz..."
Eldar: "and my seers council..."
Chaos: "I've had worse... wait, no I haven't... my terminators...that I will not be getting in favor of tanks."
BB: "I've got 11 barrels of hell"
Chaos: "well I'm out, good luck, no wait
...maybe my nuke will.... no they dodged it.
Side note: usually having three hero's of same type is detrimental but the stacking power of inquistor control is super powerful. The guard got pushed well early game but once the hero's got their tricks and big tanks, they became unmovable

Inquisition somehow very angry... so fearful.
Wow, Red team there! That was incredible play! From a huge Vp deficit and still held their ground… the inquisitors had counters for every single infantry unit on the field… very well played by Red team. Blue team really got utterly suppressed for the second half of that match, well played, such a close match. Commiserations for the blue team there, started so strong and just struggled to deal with the IG armour pretty much the whole match. And even when they did deck the super heavies, another took its place! Great match!
Luv me Imperial Guard. Favorite faction by far.

It feels like players sometimes forget to switch into kamikaze mentality - its like a minute till the end of game and avatar goes for heal? Or at 37 minute, if the nobs and others were sent for guardsmen (and possibly die) instead of retreating, the cap could be quite possibly finished and game won. Its the desperation that creates heroes, not cautious gameplay :D
So many juicy artillery hits! Love this kind of Guard playstyle! Also the guy you were trying to recognise is DefinetlyNotKonrad's brother.

24 and Nightmare are very solid in this game but (not) Konrad just can't hold his lane against the Orks I think instead of going T3 and trying to get Stormlord, what he really need against that composition is an Ogryn. It would have countered everything, shrunk off damage and tie up Shoota Boyz with Super Heavy Infantry armour, smack Sluggaz to pieces with melee and maybe even turn into Bullgryn and counterinitiative the Nobz late game.
The lack of a countermelee unit just hurt so much. It's not enough to just a couple of range unit then plant your feet and shoot, he need to find a way to stop someone coming to smack him up close too.

Double sentinel into banewolf is nasty... Imperial Guards are the best faction imo. They have many different unit with different upgrades to help them in any situation, they have the best tanks also
IG tanks too slow to be called best. But agree with DBL sent into banewolf I was just thinking that. Be one step ahead of your enemy. The BW was several steps ahead 😊
@@redwren4182 it's just deadly because you can protect it against AV with your sentinel. Yes tanks are slow but they have ton of hp and you have repair bunker
@@Mangeurdemouton well yeah they have other factors that help balance them out. But ultimately speed is best. Can't kill what you can't catch but you can catch anything.

uphigh lost them the game. If the Kommandos where capping instead of the hero they would have had that point. GG tho
This game felt very unbalanced
Tends to happen when one team goes for vehicles and the other team elects to not get a single piece of hard AV (except maybe that 1 plague marine squad).
For Example:
- Fire Dragons
- Bright Lance
- Lascannon Havocs
- Melta Raptors
- Tzeentch Dreadnought/Predator
- LR Phobos
- Tankbustas
- Beamy Lootas
- Beamy for the Mekboy
Perhaps even Warp Spiders with haywire grenade or Stik Bombas could stun the vehicles to set up better plays. The point is, if your going against mass armor, you're gonna need anti-armor.
