Genuinely one of the best games I've ever seen!!! Unbelievable! The back and forth caps and decaps, the meat grinder in the middle, the vehicle play, the bio plasmas saving the cap time and time again. 50 minute game and what a blast it was

@@1337billybob No. Tbf, even Tactical Marines have a hard time healing on the field even with a TM Beacon. Only Chaos worship on Daemons are strong enough to keep things on the field for high hp units.
Yeah reading this before the video i didn't think he would go that hard. It was almost just the Sm plasma cannon pushing him back. Both Nurgies focussing on the enemy plasma and mr Nid may aswell have taken the win.
Also more healing on the fexes
Btw spamming venom Warriors is op af in the campaign but i barely see them in pvp? It's good vs all long range on quick& sturdy+ melee capable units. 3x venom warriors should do more dps than 3 venom fexes no?
@@sha_663 Units stats and abilities are completely different in pvp. Venom Warriors does minimal damage vs non vehicle or monsterous creature type units.

It's pretty cool to hear that new models (and units) are being added to the game. With that in mind, I'd like to see more Slaanesh representation for Chaos then. I think Noise Marines are the only thing? How about some Seekers as an ultra fast harrass unit? Or even a Keeper of Secrets as another ultimate choice.
What an action packed game. I usually root for Chaos but it's nice to see some strange builds in this game (as I haven't watched a Dow2 replay in about 6 months everything seems new again) with the double sentinel. I even liked the triple Noise Marine although I sometimes wonder if just keeping Doom Sirens (Sonic Blasters?) are a good simple choice early on. Are noise marines immune to their knockback ability? Or just immune to their own effect?
The carcophiny ability doesn’t knock down the noise marines. Double sentinel has become somewhat of the meta for most match ups in 3v3 recently. We been struggling to deal with it. They often go one gm, double sent, double catachens.
So this is what DOW 2 AMAR looks like.
Can't believe Vel get two Heavy Weapon Team and turn both of them into autocannon though. If he kept even one of them as Lascannon they would probably be a lot more effective at fighting the Carnifex army. That C-LOS didn't use his Baneblade to help with the big fight until often way too late but I supposed he was also dealing with the Red team incursion of his own.
Mistakes here and there as would expect in a team fight but it was pretty fun one. Red team might have a chance had Link managed to do something and didn't leave the whole thing 3v2. They definitely have a chance despite the Blue team clear advantage.

clearly a bot half way through the game, why is nobody notice that
Emperium has a very solid line of heavy tank & support. Since this map is not favorable for outflanking maneuver, it is next to impossible for red line after blue team has got the Stormblade.
Plague Champ still a popular choice after all these years
So other then one good shot that Stormblade was super usless, like worst unit ever, good game btw and nice cast.

most skins will be incorporated outside dlc eventually, as we've added our own models and other iterations to these ones already

I already Play Elite Mod and there are many skins Elite skins AS an Addition to the retail ones. But i do Not See an Elite skin for ultra Marines.

50 mins, 4 nearly lvl 4 carns and not A SINGLE LAS CANNON SETUP TEAM! Imagine how much more earlier those carns would have died or not even dare to approach if you'd stick 2 las cannons on those bunkers. Still, gg

Advice for new players
1/ Play on Friday, weekends and during European night time.
2/ Make sure to get the newest patch from releases section of the F. The L is in the video description.
3/ Find players to play with at elite D. The L is in the video description.
4/ After joining D, give yourself an initiate tag or completely new tag depending on your preference by going to roles.
5/ And most importantly, add every non-toxic/blaming player you met during an online match as your S friend.
If a new person rely solely on finding a room in public room list, there is a high chance that one will suffer from taking long to find a room and skill mismatches. An optimal way to play in Elite while avoiding two forementioned problems would be like below.
1/ Host a new player room and go to D looking-for-games to gather new players for it.
2/ Play some games
3/ Send S friend invite to any and all player who were in your room and were not toxic/blaming.
- Doesn't matter if they receive it or not. Keep sending. There is a nice ignore invite button to stop all invites from a player and also invite notification only happens once. These two means invite spam is not a nuisance to anyone.
4/ Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 until you gather about 15 to 20 players in your friend list.
5/ Now, you have power to host a room and fill it up in a minute or two by using both S invite and informing on D any time of the day you want and with players of skills similar to you.
You are only required to buy DoW2 Retribution for multiplayer. Other games/DLCs are not needed. In addition, Elite Mod is required but it is a free mod.
All replays casted in this channel are from DoW2 Retribution + Elite Mod. Retribution is the second and the last expansion of DOW2. Retribution is a standalone expansion that does not require other games for it to work. Players created Elite Mod as patch support for Retribution stopped in 2012. For this reason, Elite Mod is also needed for playing multiplayer as unmodded Retribution is largely abandoned aside from single play purposes. Same can be said about Original DOW2 and Chaos Rising the first expansion. They are bought to enjoy single player content only.
Elite Mod’s main function is the balance patch support for high level 1v1 scene. However, in addition, it adds some new content too.
