These little things sound incredible….I have an original 2555 100 watt head that I bought brand new in 1987…it was $630..It was my first real amp..it’s great, but I think I like the mini more in some ways…it’s not as dark and scooped sounding…Marshall definitely captured the spirit of the big ones in this little box….Great demo!!
I find it strange that Marshall made 3000 of these in 1987 but around 10,000 people in RUclips comments managed to buy one when they were first released 🤔
Nice sounding amp, really love the tone. Btw, unless you really prefer to put Guitar >> reverb >> delay in front of the overdriven amp, i would place delay+ reverb in the send-return effects loop for a clearer sound
@@ontherockofchrist Marshall's just rule. Even though there are tons of new companies "improving" on the marshal style stuff the classics just always win out in my experience
Yeah, I think this demo just sold me on the 2525h and stack. Been looking and considering this for a few weeks now. Home use only but it'll pair well with my American Standard Strat and 50s LP Standard.
I had one too, was probably one of the brightest and harshest amps I've tried. Soooo loud. I've got an SL68 right now and its much more pleasing at any volume
Great video, thanks🎸🤟😉! I bought this head, can't wait to test is. I have to purchase a cab, 2536 212 looking good - have you tried it? What tuning are you playing? Sounds killer!
Completely different animals IMO. Origin is much more of a plexi type vibe. You might want to check out anything in the DSL line would be much more suited and similar to this. Depending on what you play/your style
Origin is a low gain amp. It’s a vintage styled amp. You’d have to put dirt pedals in front of it to get any real gain for high gain tones. The DSL is the amp to get for Marshall high gain tones in that price bracket.
I’m so old! I used to sell these as a kid working in a music shop. The demo took me back to hearing this sound almost everyday… 👍

I barely had money for rent in '87. Plus I fell for the whole solid state thing. These sound amazing!
you are living the dream.

Thanks so much Johan! You are a god! Your videos have helped me considerably, especially with vintage speakers cheers!!!

Oh of course, especially with a gainy amp. Just didn’t bother for this quick video since it’s not really about the effects
Thanks to that nuclear video a week ago I have my baby...thank you!🤘😎
woot woot! thanks for enjoying
I have the hundred Watt Jubilee and I love it it's so clean and clear but still has that good Marshall heavy duty tone
Yeah I ended up getting a 100w Reissue LOVE IT. So versatile.
I have the full 2555x. Love this amp! Will have it for a long time.
Just a great amp/design! Gonna be hunting down a 2555x at some point!
Great Demo' scratch that. Totally Epic,,,, I bet this little beast would cast darkness unparalleled through the 1965 410 cab
Nice touch filming with your picking hand reflected in the Jubilee’s chrome mirror finish.
Hahaha, wasn't intentional but I guess it worked out well
Marshall just always kicks ass.
I like the controls on the front too

That sounds like a great combo! Yeah this amp ROCKS for almost everything except completely blowing the roof off your house.
I have the SV20 watt plexi, and it’s just about as my 50 watt plexi.

I think drop D in that video! and that 2x12 should probably work great with it!
lots of good sounds out of that. I'd still buy a ceristone 20 for point to point wiring,. but that's a great 👍😃 modern marshall ☺️
Good demo of the amp. Really good. I find these amps sound puny tho
Thanks! Yeah they definitely don't have the roar of a 50 or 100 watt marshall but they're still pretty great for a lot of stuff!
I’ve had both and I like the mini better. It’s easier to play at home, which is where most of our playing occurs.
Hi, this is just the gain of the head or you have a boost on? Thanks!
Just the amp!
@@acrylicrecording amazing!!
Do you know if there are huge differencies with marshall origin ?

@@acrylicrecording well I play rock/hard rock and I want an amp wich has a lot of gain
@@martin_gllt yeah the origin is much more of a low/mid gain. Check the DSL or maybe JET CITY on a budget

@@martin_gllt honestly if you want something with high gain JVM series is way go for sure
