I'm going to guess 13.791 for your quater time. I have a question maybe it's in one of your videos but when you drove it before the tune did you run the na map sensor or the turbo map? Thanks and love your work and enjoy your holiday!
Was mentioned in one of the earlier videos but all good. When I drove it at all with the turbo it already had a tune and turbo MAP sensor. Sent the ECU out to my tuner for a base tube so it would be safe to do so. Have heard of guys driving converted cars to the tuners with the NA MAP sensor as long as you keep it off boost (not guarantees though!) but got no hope with turbo MAP and no tune, be surprised if it would run at all. Hope that answers the question and thanks very much mate 👍.
I haven't watched any earlier episodes but i will have to start at the beginning and make my way through, i have a na series 2 ba xr6 and want to turbo it i have been slow collecting parts but still need a few i already picked up a himount turbo manifold and got a new ebay turbo but i think i went a bit big and can't exactly recall the size of the turbo but it's a big bugger anyway all i wanted to know was if that's a totally stock internally motor, also though about saving up some coin and getting a f6 tyfoon motor and building on that
Can get some on eBay for 70 bucks or something I did it in mine not to hard of a job you don’t have to take the fuel rail all the way off just pull it back enough to get the injectors in and out, bit of rubber grease on the new o rings and you’ll be sweet
How does the insurance company react to your turbo upgrade, this needs to be updated with your new setup , they can and most likely not honour an accident, especially for young players

I should bring my completely stock (cough cough) road bike down for a race on the quarter 🤣
Nar way to cold for me but I do want a toolbox sticker.
Great camera placement in car to avoid the speedo as well 😅 Another great video man, no idea about times just go 13 flat.
It’s ok, who doesn’t love cake! 🤣
At least you can’t embarrass me on a ‘stock’ bike then! Just hope we don’t get postponed with bloody rain.
Camera placement was accidental at first, but will be a common place now I think!
I’m doing my fg conversion aswell! My guess is 14.117
Good luck with it mate, has been heaps of fun on this one 👍
Thanks for a more chill motoring box walk through where it's not some adhd bloke vlogging and blasting loud rap trap crap over everything
Im guessing 14.010.
8mpg, that's not petrol that's an EV, mines sitting right on 😒 41...
Great stuff Browney 🤙
Jesus 41 l/100kms!? You’re either bloody hard on it or dragging a road train? 🤣
@@BrowneysGarage that's the worst part i might punch it a couple of times, but i try to drive smooth and not racing around, it's just a really crap tune, cant get it booked in anywhere to fix it, i did some engine work because it was sitting at 20/100 (burnt valve)
Hi Browny good luck Sunday at the track
Thanks mate, think the video will be a cracker!
Love your work bro!
I'm going to be doing a turbo set-up on my fg g6e but want to change the rods before i go abit to crazy, what would you guys recommend about getting new rods ?
Fg g6e 2009 model.
I'm guessing low 14s on the quarter
im cut, my na turbo made 212rwk but 593mn hehe
Does that mean yours has better control of boost spikes/surges though? I’d take that as a trade off haha
Going to guess a slightly optimistic mid to high 14sec@103ishmph
Awesome series I have just found and watched I’m gonna guess 13.836
Thanks very much mate, and good luck 👍
@0:47 what a a driver sees when driving through traffic in a turbocharged barra
Nice job editing! I reckon about 14.483
Thanks mate, good amount of time in editing this one so hopefully it was worth it! And doesn’t look like a complete amateur edited it, cause he did
I think you’re gonna run on the quarter-mile 11.234 👍👍
I wish mate, not this time unfortunately - maybe one day.
Do the ba xr6t 4fa come out the factory with and LSD? Thanks
I haven't watched any earlier episodes but i will have to start at the beginning and make my way through, i have a na series 2 ba xr6 and want to turbo it i have been slow collecting parts but still need a few i already picked up a himount turbo manifold and got a new ebay turbo but i think i went a bit big and can't exactly recall the size of the turbo but it's a big bugger anyway all i wanted to know was if that's a totally stock internally motor, also though about saving up some coin and getting a f6 tyfoon motor and building on that
Completely stock internal engine on this, not even valve springs.
Thanks for watching mate.
@@BrowneysGarage thanks mate hopefully i can pull it off without to many issues
Browney was watching an older video and the average fuel economy was 11.8 which is pretty normal for one of these but just replace the injectors
Can get some on eBay for 70 bucks or something I did it in mine not to hard of a job you don’t have to take the fuel rail all the way off just pull it back enough to get the injectors in and out, bit of rubber grease on the new o rings and you’ll be sweet
My new economy is 8 per 100 and I drive the exact same route as before
My guess is it’ll do a 13.7 to 13.9 depending on conditions and if the btr doesn’t do btr things
BTR things as in slow shifts - covered, long first gear - let’s hope it gets up and going better than last time at least 🤣
13.869 second quarter.
265hp and 12.980 1/4 102mph
How does the insurance company react to your turbo upgrade, this needs to be updated with your new setup , they can and most likely not honour an accident, especially for young players
Been an enjoyable series.. you have inspired me to do something similar!
My guess is 13.911 👌
It’s been a lot of fun to make. Parts may be getting a little harder to come by but sure there’s still plenty about.
@@BrowneysGarage very true. B series parts are surprisingly difficult to find in good nick.
Maybe we can do a na+t comparo.. mines a BF xr6 with a ZF..
awesome
Yeah my NA Barra gets about 14.6L per 100ks
14.40 for the new setup
13.678 I feel for the quarter mile time
Yeeewww 14.21
wild guess and say 13.9
now its as fast as a stock xr8 good job haha!
Valve float at top end
12.8 on the drag strip
13.777 Good luck!
gd wrk
13.56 1/4 🤙🤙
Turn it all the way up and see what it is capable of
Love this series, More please. Time 13.8222
You got it, more is in the works mate 👍
Oooosh
I predict 13.8 down the quarter
