Great Effort. Did this 7 years ago to my FG with way more shall we say Budget parts.....and made 540 rwhp on 14psi. Engine was still quite happy at that level , however the box fried after one good pass at Willowbank. Way less clutches in the atmo box. 12.0@120 mph though. Was tuned by Forced in Toowoomba. On a side note I managed to get the car to run a 13.6 over 1/4 when it was atmo 😁
@@fgmods All I did was to swap in a 3.45 diff centre and extractors plus free flowing/noisy exhaust and got a mail order tune from BP and it ran a 13.6 atmo. The Vid is on my channel if you go back about 7 years. Doing the turbo conversion with a T70 Master Power turbo was fun though !!
Me and my misses recently bought her old Falcon back and engine swapped it with a fresh low ks bf series 2 na motor seing this makes the temptation of turbocharging it so much more haha
Na zf is surprisingly stout, my mates got one in his 550kw g6e, it hates life and slips 3rd-4th if you shift on power but it hasn't failed catastrophically.. Turbo or better yet built box is the go though, mine makes 410kw and the standard turbo zf hasn't missed a beat

I watch pfi speed and they have been pushing pulsar turbos on plenty of hondas and they absolutely rip. Their technology and quality is really good. And I'm seeing more and more people running them
Nice but.. i did this 2 years ago running 98 and 8 psi and i make 305 RWK with an UN OPENED FG NA engine, stock exhaust internal gate just a cooler kit and air box, still going strong too :)
That's a great result for a Falcon with no work! If you're comparing results don't forget where I specifically said we didn't want to push the car too far because the gearbox needed to survive the 1400Km trip back to Brisbane.

Hey mate I’ve done a na+T conversation on my xr6 and for some reason I keep getting a engine light come on, I can get rid of it by disconnecting battery but then couple days later it comes back. I’ve got thoughts on it been o2 sensor seen I’ve put a big dump pipe and cat on it but not overly sure. Have you had any dramas like this. Any help would be appreciated

How did you drive it back to Brisbane being a full time e85 car ? And the turbo zf boxes aren’t anything special I blew mine at about the same power you have on your NA box ( if it’s still alive lol )
The drive back was fine on 85. Just had to stop more regularly to be sure I didn’t run out hundreds of Ks from a united with E85. Fuel economy is only about 100Ks worse than before, give or take a bit.

Nah I’d never sell it. I’ve still spent less than I would have buying a factory turbo (unless it was a really clapped turbo) and I got to learn a lot from the guys at Elite and have fun doing the build along the way.

I am surprised that you haven't had an aftermarket zf heat exchanger installed as of yet, may of put you more on ease on the drive back. But wow 354kw is some serious power! That's enough to make anyone happy for a really long time.

Pulsar have pretty much become the standard for Falcon builds now. Very reliable turbos.
