Regarding the wheelbase, the key phrase to look out for here is 'fineness ratio'. In aircraft and ships there is normally a calculable optimum fineness ratio that commerical aircraft often exceed (to get more people in longitudinally) and ships often don't (to get more usable volume). The drag mechanisms on the two are completely different however and likely they're different again for a car. But it is entirely plausible there will be an optimum fineness ratio for cars and it's likely that it'll be higher than most cars achieve. So, for a given cross section, a longer car would likely be more aerodynamically efficient. Wheelbase would be somewhat of a shorthand for that, but not necessarily.

Actually I like, that you’re trying to keep the cost for charging low. Most people would probably do the same anyways, so it makes the test more realistic.

With alpitronic chargers, first insert adapter to car, then you authorize charge, then when it asks to plug in, turn on adapter and plug in. It needs to be in a specific order for some reason or else it will bug 😅

For *ships* a longer waterline (and sufficient power IIRC) can give higher speeds without having to spend a lot of energy.
At certain speeds, due to the wake created by the ships bowel, consumption can be lower than if travelling just below that speed.
I had that weird message with Delta chargers before, too. In fact, almost every time I used one of the ones in the areas I drive in. It seems to just be made up though, as the charging commences basically at once anyway.

A longer wheelbase generally speaking improves aerodynamics. There’s a limit to it though.

The 2019 e-Niro was more efficient than the Kona. The EQXX is stretched into length. Length rules if you use it for the "drop-design" to reduce dirty air in the back of the car. I don't know if it matters with the boxy design of the e-Soul.
