    FYI the OIL COOLER CAN LEAK INTO THE COOLANT AS WELL.....I think the coolant is on the return side so the pressure of the coolant might be higher than the oil so it can act the same as the water pump....

    I got an EGR code this morning. My oil looks fine but coolant looks a bit brownish.

    Hello, are you writing about a water pump? but there are 2 holes on its body that seem to be coming out or getting into the oil anyway.? I have liquid coming into the pan, while nothing is bubbling in the tank, I changed the oil cooler gaskets.

    So when my engine is cold my transmission dipstick reads the perfect level but after I start the truck up and let it run for 15 minutes, the level in my transmission fluid completely shows empty when I check it. I have a mixture of oil and transmission fluid in my coolant reservoir. What do I need to replace?? Any help will be appreciated.

      Probably the Radiator. you have a leak in your radiator trans cooler. That would be the only thing I can think of that would cause that.

    • @mikesrandomvideos
      @mikesrandomvideos  8 дней назад

      FYI coolant ruins the clutches in your transmission. you really need to flush out the trans completely. change the fluid in the pan, pull one of the trans lines off the radiator and run several gallons of fluid through the converter. Get it all out then change the filter again. Maybe you can save the trans.

    This helped a ton I’m having issues with my truck where I’m getting coolant into the oil and I’m now thinking it hopefully is the water pump seal.

      Hey did you ever find out if water pump was the problem for coolant in oil

    • @mikeswilliams48
      @mikeswilliams48 2 года назад

      @@rafaelorona8733 yea the water pump was the issue. Basically the O-Ring went bad where the oil and coolant lines run so I was getting coolant in my oil

      @@rafaelorona8733 Can you tell me if the water pump was ultimately to blame for the liquid getting into the oil?

    Hello there! I removed injectors on my 6.6 duramax and on one of the heads I got coolant. Can I replace the head or do I have to just get a new one? Thanks in advance

    • @mikesrandomvideos
      @mikesrandomvideos  Год назад +2

      check the injector cups. and or replace them. also coolant can leak into the oil from the waterpump or oil cooler.

      for sure needs to be a OEM or it will put coolant in the oil. AC Delco or bust.
