All these towns are great and have unique qualities that make them desirable to live in. When I lived in Oak Park it was fun to take the Green Line into the West Loop and I've rang in the New Year several times in Downtown Elmhurst. Living in any of the Downtown areas would be great with quick access to a train 🤙
Small towns in that area include La Grange Park, Brookfield, La Grange Highlands, Indian Head Park and Riverside. Riverside was actually the first planned community and designed by the same guy who did Central Park in NYC.
Cicero is the first suburb outside (West) of Chicago, not Oak Park, which doesn’t start until Austin Blvd. on the East. (and are two suburbs (Harwood Heights and Norridge) which are surrounded by Chicago on all sides on NW side. Surprised only passing mention of Western Springs, often named a top place to raise kids in all US, and nothing on Riverside, a very unique village close to city, Brookfield Zoo, diverse homes, good schools, etc,
Great input! I featured Riverside in my original top West suburbs video. For this video I chose to feature towns with great downtowns, schools, livability, access to transportation and amenities such as parks & recreation.
These shots are so awesome 🤩
Yeah! I had a great time shooting the content and exploring these areas further.
Each video you do gets better and better! These towns look amazing, I'm planning on visiting later this summer and will email you beforehand ☀️
Awesome! Which areas are you considering?
Your drone footage & b-roll is awesome!
Thank you!
Really should check out Northwest suburbs, Arlington Hts, Mt Prospect, Park Ridge, old beautiful neighborhoods, all have metro stations, great schools
Of these 5 towns, which one would you personally choose to live in? They all look so great!
La Grange looks awesome, but I'm liking Elmhurst because of its centralized location with quick access to amenities in every direction
