"I've studied classical music for twenty-five years, of course I can sight, sight..." 😆 Who could blame you for taking time for yourself to play "Wave" It's so pleasing! Thank you, Lucas, for another fun video, full of truths!
Damn I felt so much that moment when the guy who sings and does very simple chords is successful and called talented, while the humble ones often know beautiful melodies but need the time to get confident gets just forgotten or are seen as weirdos.
Lucas! That was so funny, cause it’s true. And doesn’t matter where one lives. All the stuff you put into your video happened to me when I lived in Russia. I came across lots of people who asked me the last question in your video))) And the vocalists are everywhere the same)) Thanks for the mood)) You are great guitar player and talented actor)!!
I know that no one cares, but imma say it anyway. I'm quiting social media from this moment onwards and am going to do something better with my free time. Even walking in the park is better than daily wasting hours of my life on random videos, even if some of them were nice and entertaining. It's time to fulfill some of my life goals instead. Thanks for entertaining me until now Lucas! You're the best jazz guitarist I've even seen!
2:04 Haha this is so true with singers that are not really good. Usually happens with the non-pro singer that thinks they are better than they are. Why guitarists never want to bring out the guitar in social gatherings when this "hey maybe I can sing and you play something?" person comes in your way. The answer is "no you can't". But sometimes it do happen they actually can... 7:04 Yupp had that teacher in Music School. He did 2 errors in 9 years himself and got super pissed off and punished himself for it...
Lucas, I couldn't let escape that your lips seems hurt, I hope you're doing great, and if things are hard, may you find the strenght to endure it! Loved the video!
I remember when I was younger,my mom could here every thing threw the Door ,knock knock,it's too loud turn it down , 😂😂😂😂😂 back in the 90s, Love your work bro great video.
Honestly mate this made me laugh out loud 🤣thanks for brilliant musicianship and humour 👍 I will never be near your technical brilliance but sod it, you make me love my guitar more than ever.. Thank you
I feel I get so much understanding from your videos as a guitarist, I really enjoy watching! I have one more for your video…The one where you half to practice for a concert, during the summer vacation, and your children stand watching, from the outside through the window (because you locked the door for at moment) with begging eye, saying, when are you done??😂
2:30 “having to talk in public” The slight echo here reminded me of delayed auditory feedback. Where having your words played back to you with a slight delay almost prevents you from speaking.
I can relate to so much of this. the playing without fet markers face is on point. btw. just practice the same piece in different capo positions, it will free one from the markers and let you count frets faster and quicker.
2:08, 2:10 Tinnitus & Neck Pain Is Caused By Sleepy Heads When You Tried To Raise Them Because of Lions in Streets & Tigers on Roofs, A Jazz Guitarist Suffers The Lion in The Street & The Tiger on The Roof While The Clock is Ringing, This Reminds Me of Patch The Pirate's Original Song "There's a Lion in The Street" in His Album of His Adventure to Kilimanjaro, I Might Rather Make a Meme Out of That Scene 2:08, 2:10 = There's A Lion in The Street
Cool and such a realistic video. So do you use a preamp on your Bose tonematch T1 for your acoustic piezo guitar or does it work great even without when you play live? (I noticed it and might try one if I can) Talking about gear is one of the fun stuff for guitar players ^^
Sei un genio! Ogni tuo video che ho visto è pieno di intelligenza, estrosità, tecnica, invenzione, humor, senza confini fra generi. Sei semplicemente straordinario
6:16 One can only guess how much time was spent on the editing I can't remember the reference of the glitch video Does it have something to do with Skyrim?
I can definitely relate to the messy studio 😅 mine’s a friggin shithole ! Oh and bloody wonderwall.. the neighbours behind our house are always having late night parties and around 1 or 2am when they’re all totally rat arsed, that’s when they start, regular as clockwork to sing that song… BADLY and I mean, painful to the ears 😢
I guess every instrument have its own struggles. I play the cello and well, we share a few struggles! One you forgot to mention is people asking "hey, can you play that or this" and it's usually a very easy piece, an impossible one or one that is not even related to your instrument...
6:15 So true when I haven't practiced in 2 weeks, it will lag so badly. The guitar glitched and I might be teleported to bed under my blanket btw the Wave is so beautiful
It's a painful secret of life that talent+effort+experience doesn't mean success automatically. Thanks to Internet super talented people like you have a chance. Good luck, you are amazing!!!
What did happen to the sound board of your guitar? There are several little holes out there. By the way, excellent guitarrist!! Congrats!
2 года назад
Same question I had. That soundboard doesn't look healthy with those mini-holes! If you did it to say, avoid practicing, then ok - but I hope that it wasn't done by a guitar repair professional!
I've never seen artist who has these various talents before. I listened while I am washing dishes. I need to watch it again. And very thanks to mention about sungha jung. Did I listen correctly? 🎶
Fortunately for me, my fingers are as coordinated as a, ummm... thing that's very uncoordinated. I will never become a starving guitarist or analogist. Not me... I'm gonna make my fortune selling pens! 🙄😂 Great video. Thanks, I needed that. 😊
Omg playing when you’re sick’s the worst. I remember drinking a bunch of flu medicine and trying to remember a guitar solo. I was so afraid I was going to screw it up and told myself what ever comes out , just believe it and they will to. Don’t ask me how it got through that night.
I can easily relate to 90% of what's in your video. I think this is why I got a day job, so people can shut up. I couldn't stand the constant critics of people around me.
"Do I have to learn guitar, to play guitar?" There are SO MANY people like this. SO MANY.
Hey I just wanna play like this guy on tiktok.
"I've studied classical music for twenty-five years, of course I can sight, sight..." 😆
Who could blame you for taking time for yourself to play "Wave" It's so pleasing!
Thank you, Lucas, for another fun video, full of truths!
I usually skip the sponsors but you have not only given me entertainment, you have also given me education.
Thanks for so much sorry for so little
Me too
6:58 the start of one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written followed the most brutal teacher reaction…… well played 🤣🤣🤣
100 % bittersweet. I can relate to so much here. My favourite: "Do I have to learn guitar to play the guitar?" - Genius. - Keep this content coming.
Having to ask someone from the audience to give you an A is the most relatable thing ever 🤣
I've studied for 25 years, of course I can sight read. Right in the feels.
Damn I felt so much that moment when the guy who sings and does very simple chords is successful and called talented, while the humble ones often know beautiful melodies but need the time to get confident gets just forgotten or are seen as weirdos.
Lucas, your videos are fun and your playing is AWESOME! I can't wait to see a few of your tutorials!

7:02 hey that's from Antonio Lauro's Venezuelan Waltzes. No. 2. Pretty fun piece to play
As an acoustic guitarist, I agree about the social skills
As guitarist on fire I feel these pains
Me too lol
Social not skills have
@@wayneisname4544 deed in, friend my
As an electric guitarist I agree too
An authentic summary of a guitarist's life! Lucas you are a great artist - in any perspective.
the practice/ glitch bit was the best :D ! you should do that one as a youtube short 🤷♀
Tinnitus, neck pain and sunlight really are some hard enemies
I almost cried. You've collected them all
2:04 Haha this is so true with singers that are not really good. Usually happens with the non-pro singer that thinks they are better than they are.

Is something you say to somebody you want to be intimate with.. otherwise it sounds weird...
Bravo on your ad placement! Seriously that was quite clever.
Clicked for the amazing playing, stayed for the depression.
Your videos are HILARIOUS. Love your playing too.
Much love!!
You love your guitar more than me.... Killed me with that one man.
I remember when I was younger,my mom could here every thing threw the Door ,knock knock,it's too loud turn it down , 😂😂😂😂😂 back in the 90s,
Love your work bro great video.
Please 🙏 make a 5 levels of Roland dyens!

relatable, playing by myself. Lovely. Crowds and everything related to playing live... stressful.
Me he reído muy fuerte con este video! Eres increíble brother 🎶🇪🇨✔️
A Classic comedienne! Love these snippets, Lucas!! Play ON🤣🤣🤣👍🎶
2:30 “having to talk in public”
The slight echo here reminded me of delayed auditory feedback. Where having your words played back to you with a slight delay almost prevents you from speaking.
you for got me noodling around on the drumset right when you're about to tune

Dude, I even love your commercials. Hilarious and talented!
Sei un genio! Ogni tuo video che ho visto è pieno di intelligenza, estrosità, tecnica, invenzione, humor, senza confini fra generi. Sei semplicemente straordinario
So much of that has happened to me! 😂 lol 😂. Great episode!
6:16 One can only guess how much time was spent on the editing
I can't remember the reference of the glitch video
Does it have something to do with Skyrim?
I related to this video so deeply that I had to stop doubting whether I am really a guitarist. That feel
Lucas, even if you never see this comment, but i have to say that you really are my favorite yt guitarist i know❤
I can definitely relate to the messy studio 😅 mine’s a friggin shithole !
Oh and bloody wonderwall.. the neighbours behind our house are always having late night parties and around 1 or 2am when they’re all totally rat arsed, that’s when they start, regular as clockwork to sing that song… BADLY and I mean, painful to the ears 😢
Okay, the "rehearsing with a singer" left me in stitches :D
Amazing and way to relatable! 😅
The guitar glitched and I might be teleported to bed under my blanket
btw the Wave is so beautiful
I would love to see you play "se ela perguntar" by Dilermano Reis, it's a beautiful Brazilian song
Idk all of you, but at 6:25, the video turn into a weird mood (it's becoming a little glitchy). Is it the case for you too?
the fucking AK-47 noises when he tried to plug in the jack had me rolling
Fundamental é mesmo o amor... 🎵🎶
Nice vid!
7:30 song name please?
Great video!! Btw does anybody know the name of the piece in 6:58? :D
ruclips.net/video/C8gh2Z886d0/видео.html ... Enjoy!
@@badef5387 Thank you very much!!!
I'm gonna need that wave arrangment pretty please
Can somebody help me find out the piece name at 7:45 ? 😅😅 Sounds so calming and has such beautiful harmonies. 😱🔥😍
It's "Wave", from Tom Jobim
Definitely my most favorite guitar channel.
Autunm leaves and andreina (vals n 2) 🥰
Great video as usual! Please make a five levels of Roland dyens! Pleaseeeee🙏🙏
It's a painful secret of life that talent+effort+experience doesn't mean success automatically. Thanks to Internet super talented people like you have a chance. Good luck, you are amazing!!!
Me sentí muy identificado 😂con muchos de los casos, yo digo que con la mayoría
Got a joke for ya:
Q: How do you get a guitar player to stop playing?
A: Put sheet music in front of him. :)
On our timelines, Lucas can play all the Brars he wants.
Thanks man. How talented you are, as always
What did happen to the sound board of your guitar? There are several little holes out there. By the way, excellent guitarrist!! Congrats!

Spot on!!!
Absolutely hilarious. Great playing also.
does someone has the name of that song at 7:01
Omg! I relate to the glitch! “Do I have to learn to play guitar to play guitar?” 😄
Anyone know the song at 7:35?
Having to sell yourself is one of the most overlooked aspects of being a musician.
Perfect! Been in many of those... about 85%
6:40 is the one that hurts the most
lol, great stuff Lucas!
i`ve seen a lot but that video was the funniest, keep it on man you are inspiring!
Funny AF bro. Pure gold 😂
The Bossanova Wave was🔥💪🌊
I've never seen artist who has these various talents before. I listened while I am washing dishes. I need to watch it again. And very thanks to mention about sungha jung. Did I listen correctly? 🎶
6:21 i love these 10 seconds of avant-garde nonsense
0:06 What are these trypophobia holes on the bottom of your guitar?
7:30 so beautiful
I have really been interested in the Cordoba Stage but nowhere around me has one for me to test out. What is your opinion of the Cordoba Stage?
so funny bro, great vid
🤣😂🤣 Thanks Lucas, a really good laugh!
That. Was. A. Masterpiece.
3:08 teaching a young Serj Tankian be like
Thisis SO frighteningly accurate I almost got chills xD
"I can even dress up as a clown if you want?" LMAO
lol... I'll even go in the dunk tank after I play.
"Having to sell yourself"... yep.
Too many true facts in this video..
Soooooo trueeee❤❤❤
Having 0 social skills was me before guitar and me even more after guitar
Extremely accurate! 😄😂😄😂😄
...and sunlight. Very true indeed
Fortunately for me, my fingers are as coordinated as a, ummm... thing that's very uncoordinated. I will never become a starving guitarist or analogist. Not me... I'm gonna make my fortune selling pens! 🙄😂 Great video. Thanks, I needed that. 😊
the Twin Peaks season 3 bit is glorious!
What is the piece from the traumatizing guitar teacher section?
Omg playing when you’re sick’s the worst. I remember drinking a bunch of flu medicine and trying to remember a guitar solo. I was so afraid I was going to screw it up and told myself what ever comes out , just believe it and they will to. Don’t ask me how it got through that night.
When I go fishing, I try to catch the low bass.
