Welcome back to everyone revisiting this on Nov. 6, 2024.
Please bring back Dave Chapelle for Trump 2.0 remake everything ❤
Dave needs to make a new special post-election 2024
Snl didn't ask him to come back, but I think even though he doesn't fit with the current socially sensitive environment of today, his wisdom is timeless. Ppl need to hear him.
😂
@@LeanneGodfried-jp5uhthey got Bill Burr instead
Didn't know how much we all needed this and Chappelle back on tv. Perfect time for a come back
I think he wanted to host after the election on purpose. I can't think of anyone more fitting after this week honestly and I'm glad snl understood that too.
I think its more because his "side" wanted to both apologize and to use him and allow him to "defend" himself against propagandistic media (ie a form of virtue signalling).
blblblblb blblbblblbl
not to sound cocky, but I do know.
have for the last decade, when the two seasons of his show is still the funniest things that have been on TV.
I could listen to Dave talk for hours! The best! Great thing to say at the end!
Copulaxoxi Ranbooi yes! hours !
Copulaxoxi Ranbooi that's great because there's a 4 hour stand up in RUclips he did at a small theater. It says 8 hours on the video but he is only up for 4. It's pretty funny tho, you should look it up
It's an 8hour stand up show of just him at the Laugh Factory also.!' Where he an Dane Cook try to compete for the World Record of most continuos hours straight on stage!'
Copulaxoxi Ranbooi
you should watch his multiple appearances on inside the actors studio then.
"I just got this money!! I didn't think it was possible!" died. 😂😂😂

Dave Chappelle AND A Tribe Called Quest .... This is a SNL that will go down in history.
zombieapocolipse69 too bad the skits were shit this week
Yeah, He and ATCQ have been touring, I think he was with Nas as well at some point. He's rolling with famous Hiphop artists to have variety in his show, comedy ánd good music.
MattyFizzle04 dude, they were bad this week, no getting around it.
>implying SNL hasn't been shit for a solid decade now
Dave saved this show
zombieapocolipse69 I'll start watching and now. lots of comedians but he is a comedy genius
When he's being funny, his jokes carry laughs, and when he's being serious, his words carry weight. Cultural Icon.
Michael Cao that’s why I laugh his standup so much. He makes u think and laugh at the same time. He is very intelligent.

Absolutely.
I clicked this video- simply to mention Dave is better than ever in 2019 xD
I loved it. People need to really listen to it there's a great message. The name of the special alone speaks volumes of today's social climate.
even if he wasn't a great comedian, you could always tel that he was an intelligent man
Me to, I loved S&S and the LGBTQ car analogy, I also disagree about his beliefs on the MJ accusers but it was still a hilarious joke set up. Ha he's proving like Trump and Kanye he can't be CANCELLED FROM CULTURE no matter what, IMO
Who's here after finding out he will host ANOTHER post-election SNL?

Been a decade since he's done recorded stand up. This is what we needed
He's been doing low-key stand up in cities.
NemesisAnother yeah but doesn't allow anyone to record him when he is on stage. he has everyone store their phones in plastic bags and have them in the front. he does the same with his phone. He wants his work to be personal and uninterrupted so he hasn't had his comedy recorded for a long time.
people still get away with it occasionally. there are crappy cellphone vids of his standup on youtube.

Dave is one of those people that people of all races fuck with, and he uses his stage always to promote socially conscious messages in a hilarious way.
It turned into a big reason why he left. He felt people started laughing at him instead of with him.
I don't think that there's many people out there who's turn down such a big amount of money for those reasons. Dave is one of the realest.
Keir Bo yeaaaaa... except for racist white people..... did you forget about them?

This must be said, Dave Chappelle is one of the most intellectual comedians we've had in a long time. I saw someone say he's like a black version George Carlin and I must agree. Dave is a comedic boss!

Roger, I really don't keep up with too much TV/entertainment, so I'm not so familiar with Dave Chappelle's body of work. I think his Clayton Bigsby skit is one of the most hilarious comedy pieces I have ever seen so kudos to Chappelle as a comic, but he really did need to have more regard for the truth the other night in his SNL monologue.
Kentucky Dave Well Dave can be color driven whenever he's on stage, and tends to bring up a lot of uncomfortable subject matter like race. Do I agree with everything he says? ....not really, but the comedy is like getting a message on a sore spot after this election. It eases the tension. I hope Donald does a good job in office, but it's good to hear it from a person of color saying good luck to another person everyone on the other side of the isle considered to be racist. Is he? The only one who can answer that is him, but is it a sore spot for the black community....yeah...why? Because that's what the media has been spinning, and instead of vetting the info, most people in the black community just go for what they hear. What regard for the truth were you referring to if you don't mind me asking?
I'm just now reading this, but I would like to know what regard to truth he is talking about as well. You have him 2 sources. It's well known fact that Teddy was pretty racist.

The purpose of comedy, in my opinion, is to promote human self-reflection - make light of social and cultural stories by probing what makes them so damn peculiar. That's the power of Dave Chappelle. He has the ability to not only expose both sides of an argument, but also force us to reconcile with the absurdities that dominate our everyday life. We sure need that right now - this political and cultural war is quite sad & hilarious when you sit back and watch it unfold. In other words, it's ok to find humor within the sadness and anger.

Don James no, standup comedians write their own material for standup, nobody TRADES stories u fool... im not talking about shows, im talking the standup act, but its a well known fact that kevin hart has a team writing his stand up material, why? because NO ONE can have 6, hour specials, in one year, its impossible, nobody can be that good, not carlin, not paul mooney, pryor, not chapelle, seinfeld, none of them... so when u have more than 2 one-hour shows in one year, its pretty obvious you didnt come up with that shit yourself.
***** you are talking about the chapelle show, not standup, this act here, is all dave, kevin hart has a staff of writers, just writing for him, and he says he comes up with it all by himelf
SO HONESTLY AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT FELT THAT CHRISTMAS MORNING FEELING WHEN DAVE CHAPPELLE DID THIS SHIT.
Ricky at Xfm Same with me.
ALEX ESCALANTE but election night felt more like Krampus coming down my chimney
He's coming back next week.
Depending on where America is in a week's time, it's either a repeat of this, or something different.
EDIT: GONNA BE DIFFERENT
exactly why I'm watching. We'll see if anything changes after tomorrow.
Will be watching from my bunker
Thank god it'll be"something different".
@@StarkNetwork666 Thank god? Hell no... Thank Madison, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Scranton, and Philadelphia.
Hes racist against anyone but blacks im thinking
The best stand up comedian alive.
Dies and is replaced by this thing...
b-but... dave isn't dead and you haven't replaced anything.
Richard pryor was pretty great. And paved the way also.So it's hard to say Dave is the best ever.. At least right now
RASTAFIRE Coffil Selling racism and deception to the masses. Yea, heroes. (SARCASM)
RASTAFIRE Coffil that aint the real dave chappelle, its his illuminati clone that was sent to us.
Dave really blew it out of the park. He was hilarious and also brought forth a very nice and beautiful message of unity in the US. Best comedian of all time.
Chapelle doing white people impersonation is pure gold
Just like Richard did
Never seen anything like it
Chapelle doing ANY impression... He is, without a doubt, one of the most brilliant talents of today.
I am curious, though. Is it true that Mr. Lorne-Don't-EVER-Surprize-Me-Michaels banned him from SNL?
I liked the racial draft skit where Dave says "everybody be quiet. A white man is talking. Ungowa. Ungowa". Lol
@JOE knows y'all don't know how to do it right tho it's all we're saying
"I just got this money"... so funny and important on so many levels... LEGEND
best thing about this year dave chappelle is back
Matthew Phillips Thats not chappelle. Its his illuminati clone, thats why he doesn't talk or look the same. The real one was way more creative then this one.
he ain't coming back, but this was a beautiful peak at what could be.
Sentimental in San Gabriel he's on tour so at least he's out there
Who is he?
Hey I guess I was wrong! Looking forward to his Netflix specials!
What did Jarule think about the election night though😂😂😂
Classic!!!!
WHERE IS JA?!?!?
WHO GIVES A FUUUUCK WHAT JA RULE THINKS
2004 special.
This comment though! hahahaha!
Man, I want to see pictures of that white house party. It's so historic.
Never Hillary it's Dave Chappell , bow down an respect
Can you imagine the guest list. I wish there were pictures
Not fake. Check your facts.

His name is Fake! He's not saying it was fake hahaha
Scott Mathews the irony is so strong here...
Came back because i needed the same pep talk again ❤
The musicians in the back watch Dave for free and get paid.
LMAO
I was thinking the same thing 😂😂😂
but seeing him only from the back
it's like watching free TV but with ads
@@rft1509 😂😂😂😂
Greatest opening in the history of SNL. Drop the mic Dave. Epic.
Didn't you feel your brain awaken and begin to laugh with surprised delight?
they couldn't have picked a better host for the first post-disaster show
john phillips yall can't take a joke for shit!
john phillips Direst?
The only disaster so far is people rioting in the streets because their candidate lost.
GandAlfa Agree to disagree
there is already evidence of people having been bussed in, and i'm not talking about the election, i'm talking about the Trump riots. you really think it's that hard to get a group of people from a low income neighborhood to start shit in the city? Especially when there's a bunch of dumb whiney shithead millenials already there crying for woes that are all delusions in their spoiled heads' spurred on by the propaganda the establishment and educational system is pushing out?
“Boss said it was okay” LMAOOOOOO
Best monologue ever!!!! Exactly what we needed to hear at that time!!!! Long live Chappelle!!!!
D.L. Hughley and Dave Chappelle together on stage 2017:
Hughley: "Freedom of speech means you can say what you want as long as you're willing to deal with the consequences. Like you could talk however you want to your mama when you was a kid as long as you were willing to get the taste slapped out of your mouth."
Chappelle: "Right, right. My mother didn't, uh, she didn't hit."
OH SHIT
ruclips.net/video/PzEwmm9vLJ8/видео.html
Jamal Kareem He's not alive it's a clone
imcnblu You're a cretin
Bogeham13 You're talking about clone conspiracies, and *I'm* the stupid one? GKY, imbecile.
All those black faces & Bradley...
OKSooo_ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Idk why that was funny but somehow that expression was great!
OKSooo_ hmm considering both Cooper and Chapelle were A Star is Born, Cooper probably asked Dave to be a part of the movie.
Brian Griffin Bradley Cooper’s a cool white dude. He’s alright
He's gonna have a Netflix special!
marcodeangelo where did you hear that?
FREE1UP Netflix themselves, on Twitter
Netflix is releasing 3 of his specials, 2 of them are older ones that are unreleased and 1 is a new netflix special
marcodeangelo when?!
ew.com/tv/2017/03/02/dave-chappelle-netflix-specials-premiere-date/
Jesus! This is even funnier 3 years later.
Absolute genius
That closing statement by Dave was awesome! My exact sentiments... I didn't vote for the Man, but I'll give him a chance!!!
nthnpark0 you still haven't learned have you?
+nthnpark0 I expect him to be a disaster. I know several of the polices he has proposed, if implemented, will be disasters. Doesn't mean I'm hoping for it. If he does anything good for the poor and disenfranchised of this country, then some good will have come out of his presidency.
L Khokhlakov which policies are worrying you?
Nelson Hernandez REPUBS AND MOST WHITES NEVER GAVE OBAMA A CHANCE FROM THE START
FUCK TRUMP AND WHOEVER SUPPORTS THAT PRICK
What makes you think he didn't vote for him?
You bout to see a lot of niggaz in gorrilla costumes loool
How do they allow him to say niggaz but you can't say faggot?🤔
@@MisssKayy Dave has a video on that lol check it out
@@sugaredwards6207 sorry for using the N word. I'm part Ethiopian, does that help my case here?
@@sugaredwards6207 right on
@@sugaredwards6207.. I think you're confused it's etiquette if it's a face-to-face conversation that we are talking about here is comedy/jokes the liberal use of the freedom of speech to be able to deliver punch lines and do stand up bits that are generally funny.... get it
And last time I checked yo Mama jokes are a part of Comedy.
Dave Chappelle yelling will never not be funny.
Even if it's a look-alike clone?
🙄🤔
@@gitbint Its not stupid
@@gitbint 🤔indeed bro I been thinking that as well
@@cntrlalltdlt I know, riight? His tone has changed more than anything else..... It's weird man
@@gitbint That's because the real Dave Chappelle is in 'the sunken place'......
THIS is what comedy is all about, you say the truth with a little chuckle to keep things light, amazing gift.
AWWWW NIGGA I JUST GOT THIS MONEY!!!! lmao, Chappelle is hilarious!
Why hasn't anyone done any coverage of what Ja Rule thinks of the election? WHERE IS JA????
JJ K Who gives a fuck what Ja Rule thinks at a time like this, this is ridiculous. I want some answers Ja Rule might not have right now
Ah so you some educated ass nigga, think Ja Rule can't school you son?
Always one that won't get it.
Good times.
LOL! Classic Dave Chapelle comedy...
We did it. He made a Harambe joke.
lol without ever saying haramber, points for that.
More of a police brutality joke, Harambe was just the metaphor.
you did what?
Shroomy w
“If I could quit being black today, I’d be out the game” - that one had layers to it.
Everybody laughed and I didn’t understand why.
All jokes aside he said some real shit and as Dave always does, he hits me in a place I’m not used to being hit in, and makes me feel and think on a different level. As a comedian and a human being he is top shelf.
This is not SNL. This is Chapelle show's 2.0. I can't find other SNL videos that match as many views as his episode did.
This is comedy. Finally.
"i became the next best thing, i became a rich black person."
That's my goal. Or well off like my pops lol
This is THE BEST post-election SNL Monologue in HISTORY HANDS DOWN!!
