I got the same foam and cut the nose off and it's OK but I still can't see the outside corners very clearly. Its funny how you never hear of fitment issues like the goggles 2 on FS & WS goggles, maybe take a hint DJI!
Same for me…somehow I feel like selling them and keep my v2 but I really would love to have them perfect, because the size, weight, screen and specially the osd recording is for me a gamgechanger…but seeing not clearly with the new foam is shit as well
I purchased the wide a narrow Faceplate's... I thought for sure the wider would be better but the narrow ended up working out perfectly. I'll buy DJi's (soft fit) whenever that is available to compare.
I am using the Pyrodrone foam. The fit is probably the most like the type b iFlight if I had to guess. It has solved the issues you described. It attaches with a similar Velcro strip. It does not have padding all the way down the nose area but just over the top of the nose. I think this might be better for me because it provides more space there while still preventing light leak.
There's a new official Faceplate from DJI to upgrade the G2 Stock. It is a sponge foam padding and it is narrower. The product name is "DJI Goggles Foam Padding (Soft-Fit)"
Hay Paul .. thanks for your videos always . Would pls link me a step by step video tutorial of you how to set up both the trx like tadiomaster & how setup fc for i nav quads ? Any help appreciated and thump up always for your videos 👍🏻
I do not think that the iFlight foam will help me personally. I need the Goggles very close to my forehead and a little bit offset from my cheeks. I get the best visual experience without any foam on the goggles at all. Unfortunately the goggles will then fit very, very uncomfortable. Shit happenz. Still considering to sell Goggles 2 and get V2 instead.
I really want to keep them but I somehow hate: 1. my eyelashes always make the lenses dirty 2. fog on the lenses 3. with upgraded foam fit perfect but not sharp anymore in the corners for my right eye the left side gets washed out for my left eye the right side gets washed out….I really want to keep them (weight, size and specially the osd recording is what I love) but probably stick with my goggles v2
i've had some real old fatsharks, i had some ev800, some skyzones, the dji v1 goggles, and the goggles 2, and from all those, to me the goggles 2 are the most pleasant to wear - I find the lenses a bit close to my eyes from a "i don't like to have something there" standpoint, but focus wise they work quite well for me. If i'd suggest a change to them - a tiny bit wider on the top of the nose would be more pleasant, as it sometimes feels a bit squeezy Edit: note, I'm using after market straps, didn't like the original ones too much
There is a VR company called big screen and they sell a new vr goggle with a tiny form factor. They only sell it with a custom face plate that gets CNC carved based on a faceID sensor scan of your face geometry. Would be really cool to have custom face plates in FPV.
What's the best FPV system? Analog, DJI, Walksnail or HDZero? ruclips.net/video/1hrS2hn5rvg/видео.html

Will you 3D scan your face and create custom foam?

Please compare these with Integra!
I got the B version and use it with my Integra. I had the exact same problems as Pawel, and the B version foam finally worked for me.
I have v2 goggles rn, but I'm going for o3 on my new builds, should I get g2 or integra, or neither?
Just use the V2 they are good enough
Better than my adding material to the bottom of the goggles. Ordered a b model today.
why dont you make your own boards for inav. since inav is the main tool for fpv, your boards should be the same. Thanks
