    Imagine now if you were playing this on hardcore mode, and you were significantly along in the game before your near brush with death. I have experienced this feeling multiple times. And even lost a playthrough, or two, or twelve, altogether. It is an awful feeling. Victory eventually came, but not without setbacks.

      use floaty thing

    • @RedFloyd469
      @RedFloyd469 3 месяца назад +1

      Hardcore mode has never been ruined for me via drowning. This is an absolute skill issue. If you can't learn how to look at the oxygen meter, measure distance and seconds, then that's honestly a skill you need to immediately learn to pick up.
      What REALLY ruins hardcore runs are those stupid jellyfish things hanging at the entrance to the 300 m degasi habitat. The poison will immediately eat up your HP basically instantly. And the game's hitboxes being a bit wonky, I've had several runs ruined because of them. Also those freaking exploding fish bastards.
      I guess other than these, maybe an unlucky fireball attack by the sea dragon or one of the ghost leviathan youths bothering your sub and fishing you out of the cyclops only to snap at you are run-killers. Reapers can generally be avoided rather easily, but I guess you can get unlucky sometimes.

      @@RedFloyd469 I was killed by those Jellyfish more than anything in the game. I thought “hey, if Markiplier dodged them, so can I!” 50 deaths later. “That’s it, I’m using the tools to remove them.”
