Glad it helped
thank you it worked .
amazing video
You're welcome!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Perhaps you could have created Persistence by using Rufus to create the bootable USB drive? I know that Parrot recommends that you use Etcher, and not Rufus.
Amazing 🤩
Thanks! works!
You're welcome!
Thanks, this works for me
You're welcome!
you deserve the like
Thank you 🙏
Any time!
Amazing tutorial. First milestone was to get a kali live on usb with persistence, working and usable. Also wanted to explore Parrot. With your wonderful tutorial, now have a persistent parrot on usb. The kde option is missing from security parrot. Have an alfa awuso36ac that is difficult to install to kali. I like the kde browser and the included icons on botom taskbar. Went thru the preferences and appearance and it's not apparent on how to get that on taskbar. Thank you so much for the great trutorial.
Glad it helped!
Me has vuelto a ayudar por 8 vez...en verdad gracias

@@KnowledgeSharingTech MUCH Better 😉👍🏻
Edit: (Shortening it will make it easier to remember)
Second Edit: Maybe even just “KSTech”.

Guys i need a quick answer please. There is this Calamares installer inside Parrot Os. Why cant i use this installer to make a persistent usb?

Good video! my question is after configuring persistence, how do you create a user account in parrot (with password, username and machine name)?
there is an icon saying try and install do i have to install parrot os later?

Thanks a lot sir.. really found it helpful and u are too good .. thanks a lot.. sir my monitor is not detected in parrot . How to fix issue
i am facing problems when I am typing the command wipefs /dev/sdb it is not showing 0x8100
When I tap try/install it says:
kfd kfd: amdgpu: TOPAZ not supported in kfd and then pulls out a command prompt. What to do???
I don't know how to thank you. Thanks a lot, man ♥️♥️♥️
But, problem is : after doing this i can't make any folder or files in my windows hard drive & after doing this, my cpu is 100% everytime . I want to access it 😔😔
I'm getting stuck at 8:35 I cannot create a new partition by clicking the unallocated section. It says it's not possible to create more than 1 primary partition
Same
Bro pls help me why I am not able to use my mouse. Please reply. Whenever I click it doesn't respond. But the keyboard will work
First of all thanks for all the work here. I did all that was stated yet my laptop seems to boot up parrot slow and run really slow. Any suggestions?
Make sure you are using a fast USB key like the Sandisk Extreme Pro or the TopeSel: amzn.to/3VpgMJw . Also, make sure the USB key is inserted in a USB 3.0 port
Génial...
Merci
Thank you for your video, it helped me quite a bit! However, when I :
sudo nano ~/.bashrc
It opens up a blank "new file" in nano.
However, as root: nano ~/.bashrc opens file as expected.
How to edit bashrc without being root su?
Any fixes, please?
Why is being root an issue
your user acct might have zsh instead of bash as your default shell
you'll probably find the settings in .zshrc
Bro after creating persistence partion while saving files in g parted it is showing error bro pls help me
When I click on try/install, my screen turns black, how can I fix this. Thanks a lot
Hello ! I need you're help to fix a problem. I'm not satisfied by Parrot OS with persistence so i want to use my USB as a storage device but when i deleted the persistence partition in windows disks management, it says me "no enough place". Can i have you're help please ?
Do this to completely wipe the USB drive: ruclips.net/video/SlS6dh1FFxE/видео.html
Does this work well with ventoy? Even at the part where you wipe something off to makes space for another partition
No
In the old version i was able to install parrot on the usb like any another device but in version 5 he didn’t even detect the usb partition
Hey you video helped me a lot. I am stuck on the next step for "install Parrot > partitions" what do I do over here?
Please respond. 😊
How do i remove the install parrot icon
I have already using live usb persistent for Kali Linux, can u also add parrot os,so I can use both on live usb?
Size of a flash drive is 32gb
Not possible but without persistence, you can put multiple OS on one USB key. I explain it here: ruclips.net/video/nIZbbB91xNo/видео.html
it uses usb to resume the session and persistance right, or the partition is created on the computers storage?
On USB
@@KnowledgeSharingTech im unable to get persistence once i restart the data gets erased please help
When I use f12 not show my memory?
After restarting parrot, it booted to a black screen with a blinking underscore, how can i fix this?
could you tell me what persistence is and why it is needed, or must i have it
Persistence allows the changes you make to the OS to persist and not be deleted on restart.
@@KnowledgeSharingTech and also allows the user to save updates, and add more programs.
من كل اعماق القلب اشكرك على العمل هذا الرائع والوصف الواضح جدا. شكرا لك 🙏🏼
Welcome
Sir i want to trace mobile location of my relative but i am not able to do so. Please help me if any idea to trace even gps is disabled .
Inshallah it will work❤
i hope you get milion dollars
Thank you, same to you !
hi, but if I wanted to use rufus for persistence is it still ok?
I didn't try it
@@KnowledgeSharingTech oh ok ok, thanks
The thing is when I'm wiping it also wiped out parrot os files
I followed this through but the offset was different and when I ran it it wiped the partition table and made the whole drive unallocated rather than keeping the live in one section. Any ideas why? Thanks!
Hey bro same error I am encountering did you found any solution to that?
Hey Should I install Parrot after making it persistent ?
Please reply.
NO!!!
How can I install the OS after that?
Or its already will be installed
This only shows you how to install Parrot OS on the USB key
@@KnowledgeSharingTech So there is no need for clicking install parrot os icon?
@@Haru-wq6dt I don't think so. It looks like that's there if you're using the same disk for the entire office to install it to the machine it's self.
When I clicked into it, the options were asking about partitioning regarding my machine hdd. So that's where that conclusion came from.
Hope this helps. Everything seems to work great except for I can't access bashrc outside of root
It is very slow running when i press right click it shows after 10secs .
What should i do?
Use a fast USB key inserted in a USB 3.0 port. Also, your PC might be slow
can i do this with 32 gb pendrive and can i use rufus for this
Yes for both
@@KnowledgeSharingTech tnx
I messed up so bad i putted sda instead of sdd😭😭😭 now my windows boot not working 😭
Bro can i install parrot home for this
It should work
does it work with an sd card?
You can get a USB to SD adaptor and then it works
Can I install Parrot OS on my netbook with 120GB storage and 2 GB ram ????
Yeah go for it
Thanks it's working..i have one issue only when pc lockscreen what's the password
Try toor
Oops it didn't really work thank you man
Not working for me
Etcher has a bad habit of failing, It failed twice in a row, when I tried to use it to flash the Parrot ISO to the USB drive. Then I had to use checkdisk-fix to repair it. I then used Rufus, and that worked, I put a 66 GB partition on a 128 GB drive with Rufus.
@@robertomaximilianoabajxilo2620 all I can say is that Rufus works every time for me, but Etcher fails about half the time. Sometimes when Etcher fails, the USB drive is unusable, until I can repair it. Very frustrating.
@@rootcanal7188 I had this, luckily I have a few usb sticks. I used the same iso on two usbs. One had issues and the other didn't. Weird but installing it on another USB seems to work fine.
I use Raspberry pi imager its easier
@@raynielmartinezsosa2996 I'm studying for cysa and id love a Pi, but there's a PI shortage at the moment and the prices are ridiculous.
why is it so fast on your computer?
You need to use a fast USB key and plug it in a USB 3.0 port. Here's a recommended USB key: amzn.to/3JoK9rE
not work on 6.0 version :(
شكلك مصري من الاكسنت
Wifi not wark
I had to get an external wifi card, that plugs into a USB port, to do any Linux distro. They cost $25
I have windows 7 can I run this os
Yes
@@KnowledgeSharingTech bro live mode show nhi Kr rha parrot os me
Really???

stop ushing balena shichetcher and use rufus and just drag the "existing partition size" under the part where u have selected ur parrot live file to maximum
Does this work, and what to do next in the installation step?
I tried balena 10 times and it failed after finishing verification every single time, and each time split my USB into 2 partitions. I tried Rufus twice, and it said it worked, and the USB contents seem like it worked, but I can't boot up from it. I suppose the next step is to try a different USB?
On my appears: Security boot fail.
