TAILS OS is not compatible with all WIFI network cards. A WIFI dongle is a Network WIFI card that can be plugged in a USB port. The list above shows WIFI dongles that TAILS OS recognizes
Great tutorial. It is very clear and wastes no time. I would recommend verifying that the Tails file you downloaded, but that requires having extra software installed, doing some commands from command prompt, etc.
until I found this video i was lost. i watched a couple other videos and was still lost. best video to install and configure tails that i found.. thank you boss
Thanks for the video. I appreciate the fact that you showed that the USB drive is run from Legacy boot, not UEFI, in the BIOS. I was completely confused by that, until now
Easy to follow video, I didn’t have any problems getting this set up. If anyone is running into any password issues when you first boot tails there will be an option on the bottom left that lets you choose a password simple fix. Great video thanks again.
Wow thank you for taking the time to give a step by step tutorial on how to properly use tails I have no idea how do you begin size of voiding it but now I'm glad that I learned could you please do I video with the exact same format you did but for kali linux

Thanks for the video. One question, Tails will not overwrite my other operating system right? So I can just eject the usb drive and have my regular pc after restarting? Thanks for the answers

Thanks for the video. What do you think about using a VPN with Tails? The only way I can think of to do that would be to install the VPN on a VON router, such as the GL-iNet portable routers.
No need for a VPN on TAILS because it uses the Tor network, as a matter of fact, a VPN would be bad for TAILS because your traffic will be channeled through one identifiable point
When I load up from Dell and press f12 it takes me to the screen you showed me but doesn’t give me the option to load from the usb does anyone have any ideas?
i have a problem. i have create an usb key on windows but when i start tails os and want to create the persistent mode.i have an error "device was not created using a USB image or Tails installer.
Question #1: What's the difference between GPT and MBR for partition scheme? Rufus defaults to MBR for me and I can't change it to GPT. Question #2: Why did the partition for tails go from 1.19 to 8GBs? Question #3: How do you access the files that you can now store on the remainder of the drive? Can you add a shortcut to this folder on the desktop? Question #4: If you plug this usb drive into a machine that has booted to windows, can you access the files from windows? Would you need to partition the persistent volume to NTFS for that to work?
Some people run it on their computer from within a VMware window, but I don't recommend that since your Windows OS may have malware that tracks what you do. Plus, Windows 10 itself is commercial spyware. You should use a VPN since Tails does not encrypt your traffic.
The earlier comment is wrong, VPN is not recommended when using Tails and can potentially expose your identity. tails.boum.org/support/faq/index.en.html#vpn

If your PC can start from an SD card, then yes. You can also get a USB to SD card adaptor and use the SD card this way. Just make sure you get a high endurance SD card.

Use it on any PC. Safety comes from how to use it and not where you use it
