It was fun to see Mike & Sheila drop in. I will go check out their channel, too. Holger, what kind of diesel heater are you running? For the oce fishing camps, propane is such a pain to deal with because of the humidity it leaves. Would love it if you could point me to what you're using . If you're happy with it. I hope I can join the livestream when you have one. Another great camp-out. Safe travels, my friends. Corruption on the SD - bummer

If you have access to heated garage ,I'd wait 24hrs after vehicle and material warm and dry & put water repellent on material near zippers to stop rain penetration .If still not dry use a heat gun or hair dryer before applying coating .Then I would use bees wax candle on zipper ,also makes zipper work smoother as a bonus, heat gun also makes wax easier to apply .Can use any wax pretty much , I've even used an old chap stick once on a sticky zipper .I noticed even in a light rain my stuff would get soaked by zipper until I coated the material surrounding zipper due to pressure from driving forcing water through .

That was cute parking on the heart. Pretty neat that the jeep has a pitch n roll monitor. That was your first mistake: Telling Harry where you were at, lol (kidding) Cool to see y'all hook up again. Beauty of a Vid! cheers.

Parking on the heart was actually more by accident. Only in editing did we notice that we parked right on top of it. The pitch and roll comes in really handy when setting up the tent. Most of the time we have to maneuver around a bit to get the jeep parked somewhat level. Haha, we were supposed to hook up last week in the same spot. We did not end up going, as I had hurt my ribs. Thank You as always for your support🙂👍. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏

Duraflame squares for the win , I have tried many different fires starters over the years , dryer lint with petroleum jelly ie Vaseline works good but messy to make , I try to stay away from using wax myself don't have a good way to heat it up , in a pinch fireball and cotton balls work ok love the cinnamon smell , I would be into a live stream with you two !

Probably the best and easiest and my goto fire starter is a cotton ball soaked in vasoline. Learned it fron Les Stroud, I take vasoline or petroleum jelly put in a zip lock bag. Add cotton balls and work it into each other. Than put cotton ball in a tin foil wrap. You can use a spark or flame to lite.

A live meetup online sounds great, but who knows if I’ll be there at the appointed time! You know how life chucks things at you! I’d give it my best shot though! Don’t hit yourself too hard for forgetting things at home! With age, you’ll end up heavily bruised! Maybe having a checklist for each of different types of adventure trips. I think, that I’ll give that one, some thought! If I remember! Drive, & play carefully!

I like cotton balls dipped in Vaseline , then I keep them in a zip lock bag .I have multiple checklists(gear, recipes, top up fuel ect..) depending on time of year , type and length of trip .Otherwise I'd always forget something .A friend said he likes to improvise if he forgets something and enjoys it , I would be disappointing that I didn't have my campfire meal I was looking forward to and have to leave early due to hunger or missing an ingredient that made the meal blah .Too each there own =)

It sounds like you may have cracked some ribs Holger. I cracked 2 ribs at work a number of years ago . I did not know what it was at first but I finally got an X ray done and that confirmed it. I had to sleep sitting upright for 3 weeks . Fortunately cracked ribs do heal on their own ,but you have to take it easy. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Hey love the new name for the Moose. "Maple" great Canadian choice. Holger very sorry to hear about your ribs. Nasty. Ribs are awkward and take time so wise to go easy. Ribs, Drone, cooking stuff, yup sounds like a reset for sure. I've been watching the snow line too. I'm thinking it could be another dry year. But we'll make the best of it regardless. Great idea on the "life" project. Travel safe and thanks for sharing. Always refreshing you two.

Thank You! Ribs are feeling better already👍!It's been a really busy 2 months for us and we certainly need to reorganize a few things. We've gotten positive feedback on a Live session, so it will happen in the near future. Stay tuned 👍. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏

We have those gates mid island to why why Mosaic took over and gated and knocked out the roads even if there not in use . I would pay to get a key it is becauses people dumping refuse in the road or damaging machines . If you join a atv club you get keys no thanks i ride alone . They use to let u through by taking ur plate number and tell u when the gate closed . It is a slap to ur face !!!

It's a shame that all these gates are put up. We just came across a new one the other day. We are not Club or Association people, either! So we'll pass on that as well. Thank You for watching! All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏

Sure, we'd watch a Live, would like to hear, from all your experience, on advice regarding the Jeep. Things such as tires for backroads, do you know about the different years/models and which might be better. Plus, what do you do for safety such as a winch, Garmin, spare tire, spare gas etc.

Awesome! We think it's going to happen, based on the feedback we have gotten. Stay tuned 👍. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏
