Hi I've never streamed but would like to make a star I don't have fancy equipment or lighting etc so does this replace a wide deck with loads of buttons and would I need to purchase and software to be able to use this I gave been looking at bkackmagic stuff but really I don't have a clue I'm a model maker and a pipe cigar smoker so would like to be able to stream live please advise. Much appreciated 👍

would you happen to know why when I download the preset my equalizer doesn't have that same menu button beside the name when I try to adjust the settings. The presets weren't downloading before so unistalled and reinstalled the wavelink software and the presets download now, but they aren't showing up in the EQ settings

As someone who owned this product for more than a year now and paired it with the Elgato Wave XLR, its a really really better device compared to my old HyperX Quadcast. Super satisfied with my purchase. For the equalizer, I really do suggest play around with it first. Its really straight forward but if you want to use the presets and tweak it to your liking then that can definitely make things work faster. The Elgato Noise Suppresion ONLY WORKS properly when you have an NVIDIA RTX graphics card. As an amd user, it only mutes the background a bit. I've tried it with an NVIDIA RTX Graphics card and the difference is massive. IF you are wondering can it mute "AC Noise" or "FAN NOISE" yes it absolutely can, with RTX card or an AMD graphics card. If you pair this with the Wave XLR like what I am doing, volume pick up for the mic can be set to 75%. Anything above that, you'd best have good room treatment otherwise it'll start picking up even the slight background noise. De-esser is a very nice addition.

I dont know why it didnt work with other videos I have watched, but this is easy and it worked with no issues.

I currently use voice meter potato and familiar with it. However I just picked up an XLR mic with the wave XLR. Is voice meter now redundant or did I not need to pickup wave XLR if I still want to use voicemeter

omg gimme a break! Its not a "killer". Hate when people use titles like that. 1. 4:55 umm.no.. not six. Five different ports. One is the Uplink to the PC. That doesn't count. 2. For that usb hub. While neat that it include the SD card slots, they should have extended the housing to be more flush with the main stream deck. As it is now, the slots are kind of hidden behind the main stream desk display so you cannot see them easily (depending on how you have it on your desk which for me, is on the left side of it). 3. The XLR stats of the Pre-amp i do not trust. The GoXLR has pre-amps as well and also claimed to be enough to power an SM7B, but its not enough power for that, or my Podmic and i had to get a cloudlifter to boost it to normal levels. 4. GoXLR has 2 inputs that this is missing. Some may not care about that, i personally need more inputs than even the Go is providing. Overall, its a good idea and i would imagine for many people it will fit perfectly. But a GoXLR "killer" it is not.

I've had one in PU for 9 months now and it still looks like new, the downsides are the bolts that connect the two parts of it together slacken off regularly, if you take advantage of the base extending it can cut your circulation off and the worst one is if you lean down when it is extended it can tip over on you, the base star could do with having a larger footprint. I think it's a chair you need to sit in before buying as the backrest isn't for everyone but it is highly effective if you are sitting up most of the time, the footrest makes it as you can have it right up in the air without your feet dangling if you use the footrest as well, be warned though if you do sit in one then go try something else the rest will seem miniature. What I like most is it's Kirkability, when you sit in it you can swivel about and shout out to the wife..Status report Mrs Spock or what times tea ready Mrs Scott and if you know she's moody shields up Mr Sulu or play There's Klingons on the Starboard Bow once she comes into range.

I've been messing around with OBS and trying to automate my video creation more. This is BY FAR the clearest and best mic setup totorial I've found over this past week. I tweaked a little bit of the settings, but this made my mic sound perfect during recordings. THANK YOU SIR!

My mic is making a static noise when I talk :( when I turn the gain (54dB), the sizzling is louder but if I turn it down I think my mic is too low. I also have a Shure SM7B & GoXLR. At least even at 54dB the mic meter goes very little past the middle of Low so I didn't want to turn it down any more.

Humm.. now i have an echo in my mic when i talk, and i can still hear myself typing. :( Also, on the Mini, you cannot set the 3rd EQ to 0.5HZ. Did you mean to put 0.5KHz? or 500Hz?

I Just got the entire Audio Range of @elgato Products in January since I am an upcoming streamer on Twitch I got the Wave 3 Mic, Stream Deck XL, Mic Arm, Shock Mount and Pop Filter apart from Streaming I also use it for my video and Audio Editing plus my VFX work

I used tthe Noise supressor from marketplace and although my noise is gone from the fans , I still hear a kind of crackling metalic sound in the audio. Also there is a lag in the sound I hear when playing back the recording. So it looks like more slow speaking. I have to find out what to do with that problem. Maybe a setting in obs. I know it is there. Maybe I should try the RTX noise remover ? I am now on another none RTX computer though.

You have some room noise, but it doesn't always come thru, are you also using NVIDIA Broadcaster and the noise filter???

I just got the AM8 microphone and I feel like it's an amazing one, however - it is not as clear as yours when you have your filters set up. Which filters did you use for the AM8? I watched your video regarding the setup of filters, but I can't get it just right...

Lighting wise i think he looks better on photo B, his beard is a warmer brown and his clothes look comfortably worn out rather than very light and just bought B looks comfortable A looks professional

Some food for thought!! You can run this Streamdeck+ on the streaming computer and then use Logitech Mixline (new mixing only software, no vst's and its FREE) on the gaming PC, under the output, you can send ALL of your gaming computer sounds thru the HDMI that goes into the Capture card! I have a setup kind of like this, and the Mixline software DOES work nice with both Elgato and Beacn Mixing software and requires NO windows settings changes!! I say it as thru the HDMI, this is assuming you only have elgato on 1 PC of course, but elgato does NOT support Hardware line-in inputs as a channel (Beacn does), but elgato DOES support taking audio from a capture card :) :) :) :)
