I have one hertel and ruess what a bright image as if you are not using a binocular
👍
👍🔥
So how exactly do you use the reticle?
This year I bought Zrak 7x40 (made in 2018), the "civilian version" (without reticle and without IF detector). I have dozens of binoculars and I dare say that the view through the ZRAK is one of the best I have ever seen. For some reason, it offers a "perfect image". A direct comparison with other top-notch binoculars is necessary to appreciate "special" optics design in this binocular (a similar effect is offered by IOR 7x40, for example). I own various quality binoculars, Swaro NLs (yes, this is probably the best overall product on binoculars market now), Habichts, Nikon EIIs, SEs, Fujinons and also, for example, in my opinion - optically top-notch Canon 15x50 IS (I also have a Docter Nobilem 15x60, it is very good, but Canon IS surpasses it in my opinion). Excellent is, for example, B7x30 Sekunda (very special bino), or even the old Soviet B(PB)12x40, I also like Dekarem 10x50 (multicoated) and Binoctem 7x50 (multicoated) and many others :-). Optolyth Alpin 7x42 is also excellent (contrast and sharpness in the center of the field is perhaps even better - arguably - than Habicht 7x42). But so far no other binoculars that I have owned and had the opportunity to try - offers such an image as (latest versions) of Zrak (I also have NVA DF 7x40, but the image is darker and of course slightly yellowish). However, it is difficult to compare binoculars designed for a different purpose. I am mainly talking about optics, ZRAK is not very suitable for (hiking) tourism. It is true that I have never had the opportunity to see Nikon SP 7x50, according to many it has no competition with regard to the quality of optics. And yes, I was able to briefly test the Nikon WX (10x50 IF version)- ok, it probably doesn't make sense to compare it to anything else, but in my opinion it's no longer a "portable" binoculars. And I also remembered one of the many binoculars in my collection - featherweight Carl Zeiss Sportur 6 x 24 - mine is from 1936 - if you have the opportunity to try this binocular (it must be clean and adjusted), you will tell me that it is no different from the current top (such a clear and sharp image will take your breath away - it is a slightly different view - no antireflex layers, but you will wonder where technology has actually moved in almost 100 years? :-D)
Ho good is the depth of field? Anyhwere near IF porros like the BPOc 7x30?
I have one of these and it's for sale!
These must be the worst binoculars you have reviewed Love your videos keep up the good work
Fantástico. Un excelente estudio comparativo
What do each scale mark on the focus knob represent?
Tengo el mismo cuanto dinero valdrán? Con estuche y todo
Nice review. Less talking straight to action.Thanks.
Nice! Wide field of view, I like super wide angle binoculars!
Beautiful sight!
this series of binocular is totally non-water-resistant no matter individual or central focusing models please don't use then during bad weathers not even in moisture envoirnments
great, super wide field of view
Have the 8x40 for sale. 7x35 is definitely the sweetspot in this series. Did you have a chance to check reflections during night time?
Great
Hermoso lugar! Saludos desde Argentina!!
What year are the binoculars from? Did you like them?
I found that they were made in 2000. Considering that they were offered for around 70 euros at the time, the performance is really outstanding.
@@BlackForestReconThank you.
Edge to edge is impressive
Good evening, how are you, Black Forest? I trust your recommendations and thank you for your distinguished clips. I have benefited a lot from you. I bought a Nikon 8-30 binocular for my father, and it has not arrived yet. I want to buy another one for open desert landscapes and its range of vision is far. What is the appropriate size and excellent companies? Thank you and I apologize for the length.
Thank you for your comment and your interest in my work. I´m glad that I can help you with your decisions. For open terrain I would recommend a binocular with a wide field of view. The Nikon 8x30 is already very good. But there are also binoculars that have much wider fields of vision. I just uploaded a new video about a binocular like this. There is also a list of many other wide-angle binoculars in the description. Best regards and continue to have fun with binoculars.
Ein sehr gutes Glas, nur zu teuer!!!!
6x30 and 7x50 Porros were all time classics. Sadly not many are being built today.
But there are still a lot of the old ones to be found on ebay and other plattforms..
Hello. Great binocular you have there. I have a Nikon 8x30 7.5°. Something like yours. For it's age is very clean and on axys. Maybe you can compare the two of them in the future. Or the Zeiss with it's copies.
an interesting central-focusing binocular to have fun with watching the scenic view but i still prefer SILVAMAR, that binocular has more military looking
btw, the new MS 6x30 has an angle of view at 9.3 degree
luxuskoffer is nice
greetings!
Greetings 😀
😀👍
😀
😀👍
This is the BGA version from 70s I believe. No T* coatings that make a bit of a difference. Still will likely survive the upcoming nuclear exchange
Mine are M17A1's exactly the same as this pair in the video. How to date them is by the model number (M17A1) and the date of the contract being let in WWII, and the S/N of the Bino's. Please note according to (Website Company7) these were made (up to the end of) after WWII to use up contracted parts made during the War. So Mine are: Westinghouse Contract #1 1943 May (7x50 model) to early June of that year. My S/N is 00XXX so figurately speaking depending on exactly the number of Bino's made each day, my S/N falls in the (at least) first few weeks of production by Westinghouse NY. The total of M17A1's made was (approx) 57,000 Binoculars during the life of the contract. Also note: Originally they were M17, and for all purposes exactly the same as the ones in the video. Except my reticle is slightly different than the one in the video, as the M17's were designed to be used by 155mm Artillery crews. My Reticle has a different set of numbers on the long axis on the right side. M17's (along with the M3, M5, M6, M9, M13 ,M15, M16, and M17's) were refurbished throughout the later half of the war, for exchange of the front objectives, and eye cups and so to the new standard of coated lenses. This was a big secret at the time as coated lenses were developed by most of the combatants except Russia who lacked the facilities to do this. Type in Google M17A1 repair manual and you will get the post war manual (PDF Version) (about 90 pages or so) and you will read about the upgrading to the binos to A1 Standard. According to the seller to me, my Bino's saw action in WWII, Korea, and early Vietnam. The Vietnam use ones are repainted OD. Green (professionally) along with recoating of the internal optics and mine have this done. A great piece of history all round. Cheers! Rob
is there difference between 800 , 900 and 1200 models?
How would You compare them with Hawke Endurance ED series. Are they better or worse or the same ???
Are there d16 binoculars that come without reticle ?
