Hi again! I'm also a big fan of old Carl Zeiss Jena binoculars... Their design and build quality have set a gold standard for so many decades. Recently I purchased a pair of Telonars manufactured in 1928. It was really hard work to open them (they were terribly hazy!), but once I cleaned and aligned everything the views were superb. Did you have to service your binoculars? They look almost new. Great video!

Thank you! There is only a very light haze on the inside of the objective lenses. Because it's in such good condition, I didn't want to risk opening it yet.

the ZOMZ B12x40 can be considered as an offspring of this TELONAR binocular lol

That's true - and very few people know that...

Your videos are great, thanks to you I bought a 7x35 Sotem which was a great purchase. I have a question: Which of the binoculars mentioned in the videos is best for astronomy at night?

Thank you! Unfortunately, since I don't do astronomy, I can't say that at all. I'm planning videos about the Nobilem 10x50 and 12x50 as well as the Octarem 8x50 later this year. I think these models should be very suitable.

@@BlackForestReconFrankly speaking the zeiss 6x42 is more of a collectors item. Its optical quality does not match up with the price.
