Thank you for your comment and your interest in my work. I´m glad that I can help you with your decisions. For open terrain I would recommend a binocular with a wide field of view. The Nikon 8x30 is already very good. But there are also binoculars that have much wider fields of vision. I just uploaded a new video about a binocular like this. an interesting central-focusing binocular to have fun with watching the scenic view but i still prefer SILVAMAR, that binocular has more military looking

6x30 and 7x50 Porros were all time classics. Sadly not many are being built today.
But there are still a lot of the old ones to be found on ebay and other plattforms..

btw, the new MS 6x30 has an angle of view at 9.3 degree
