I have the X1 SW and I love it. I've been telling my friends for the longest time, if ever there was a perfect knife, the TR3 is it. The only way to make it better is to use better materials.

Thats’s insane how some people have $700-800 to buy a stupid knife while others cant afford groceries, do you know how much food you can buy for that amount of money. Its a #ucked up world we live in. When some have that much money to throw on a knife and the rest of us just scraping by. Here is a friendly tip my kitchen knife costed me 35 bucks which can even cut through bone or chop through it, granted its not compact but, bet will do a better job than your overpriced knife ever can. Just saying….food for thought

I like the Bugout, too. I have heard the standard complaints about it, and all I can say is if weight is no problem for you , purchase a different knife. If you are looking at a top tier lightweight knife… this is it. The Bugout is not a pry bar, a wedge, nor a chisel. It is an every day carry pocket knife. I use mine for opening letters and packages, cutting food, and other tasks as such. Just my 2 cents concerning my favorite pocket knife.

I got one old one made out of 420 Hc and I got two of them 1 cv-20 and one in magna cut great knife

I carry the little guy on my keys and thinking about getting the bigger one being they just came out with one with a pocket clip on it now ( only through the website from what I can tell right now)... Anyways, thanks for the video 😎✌️

If your Microtech Socom elite doesn't line up exactly when folded, then send it back and get them to fix it. If your Microtech Socom elite releases the blade with just a flick of the wrist without deploying it properly with the thumb stud, then send it back and get it fixed. Sounds like you got a lemon. I have the exact knife and when it is folded the alignment of the blade is spot on dead center and no matter how hard I shook the knife I could NOT get it to disengage like you did with yours. Send it for repair. Otherwise, great review.

Really love the Police 4 LW. I've mine for months now but I never paid any attention to it. It was just for my collection. Took it out recently and it's become one of my favorite blades to carry regardless of how big it is. Come to think of it, it wasn't only this. Both Endura 4s of mine were also just in my drawer but now I carry them a lot too especially my gray FFG model.

I used to not like the paracord on the prybridX but I’ve grown to like it. It’s a neat little tool. The big downside is not all the “standard blades” work with it. The only one I know that fits is fiskers, but those have some play in them. Other brands don’t lock in. Have you found anything better than Fiskers for it?

I think im going to like this, others ive seen comment in different videos have claimed they can open it on the pull out of the pocket, im guessing if its angled right while withdrawing it a person could use their pocket to catch were youd push with the thumb. I'll be trying to see if its possible but either way itll open fast lol. Normally if I'm in a sketchy area I'll move my edc to my jacket pocket so i can have my hand on it the whole time if things look like it might be necessary. Great video man, great demonstration.

Always carry different types of knives since I work uniform patrol or building security, for the 30 plus years on and off duty, l am old school and carry lock back knives and a boot knife here and there, in the jacket and pants pockets or on my duty belt and always in threes on my person..

My absolute favorite is the Voyager Vaquero XL serrated

The Manix 2 XL is easily one of the best folding knives ever made (the Shaman too IMO). I love mine. benchmade on the other hand is garbage. Garbage knives, garbage QC, garbage company with insane prices. I worked with them and almost every other big name knife and tool maker here in the PNW where I'm from and I will never buy another product from Benchmade. They are a garbage company.

UTX-85 is similar like Glock19, it is perfect form to carry. But if you got space for Glock17, it is all good.

What you must realize is the mechanics for deploying the Provoke are different than the Fox. With the Fox the blade comes out, and with the Provoke the blade goes forward when you deploy. So when you try to do it from the pocket like the Fox, you run the risk of putting a hole in your pants or your testicle, Lord Forbid🙏🏿

Would anyone recommend this blade? I like large pocket knives, but I am sceptical about ball bearings in this size category. I have had CSteels which were running on washers. Not sure if these bearings are sufficient construction enough.

Knife addiction is real!! I started researching and considering what budget knife would be perfect for me 10 months ago. 35 budget knives and 15 premium knife models later I find myself saying "the Manix 2 xl crueware will definitely be the last one" I need an intervention!

On decent autos the tolerances need to be close. It could be lint/dust causing it to freeze up. Try some comptessed air or an air compressor to blow anything out. If tbat doesn't work take it completely down and clean it. You can also use Latama quick release oil made for side opening autos. Its great at loosening autos that become lethargic (nothing else like it). Walt who owns the company has been working with autos for over 50 years. An auto thats has problems does not always point to a defect.
