Men How do you walk For this to have happened ? I see you don't use top clips, if you don't use them you should use low moab. Top clips on mid boots are to be used.

@@juliorosas6141 yeah I do use the top hooks but it still catches. The reason for them being undone at the time of the review was simply for comfort while sitting around camp and I forgot to do them up. It is a design flaw but only a few people will have this issue I guess. Tucking the laces in is the only solution I have found to work for me.

Lucky you didn’t put a drone up in the sky along the track with the crossings. We were there once having a break on the side of the track (I won’t say at which crossing) and we could see some commotion going on at a property above us on a hilly slope. A man and woman were running around their yard like headless chooks going off about something, yelling & carrying on. We had no idea why they were behaving so erratically. The man jumped in his car and drove down his driveway and to us to ask us if the drone was ours. We didn’t know there was a drone being flown and we didn’t have one. He was quickly satisfied it wasn’t us, then he went back home. We could only assume he was growing something on his property that he didn’t want anyone to see going by the way him & his wife were ice raging before he jumped in his car to question us.

Funny you say that because when I was a kid we did this track with one of the parents friends. They were shooting through the river fairly fast and one of the farmers came off his property in his Ute to track us down and gave everyone a lecture on how we were making the water dirty. Swear he went through the creek just as fast to complain about that. Wonder if it's the same farmer 🤣 I'm always careful of flying drones to close to farm land there are some odd people out there.

I am surprised to hear about these problems. I have two pairs of this boot in different colors and which I switch off in wearing so they have a chance to air out good between wears. I only do hiking and not rock climbing, so the type of terrain you are trying to travel over obviously has something to do with it. The type of speed lace at the top of the boot is pretty popular and I've had it on other boots also. Have never had them catch like yours did. How a person strides between steps may make this boot a poor choice for some people but I've always been happy with mine. Cheers.
