i think i have a near identical build: 2009 2.4 GV "o'neil' edition (interior package) with an offtrek snorkel, 40mm ironman lift, 225/70/17 dunlop grantrek A/T tyres and ive got an AC fab bash plate engine to trans case, looking forward to its first offroad trip very soon! im a new subscriber and loving it so far, Cheers from NZ!
@ thanks! My first GV, gonna be a bit different to the solid cake trucks I’ve had! Out of interest, the videos showing lots of use of the traction control: is that in 4Lo or just 4hi locked? I’ve tried to flex on gravel piles and the wheels just spun up 😂
hey i just bought a subaru xv,2013 model i do not know the limitations, atm wheels and rims is stock and want to test it, saw the mt mee map, and i figure ill just stick to the easy route, which i have done now, and is easy, do you think i could go go the medium coursewith that?
Honestly I'm not sure but last time I was on it the medium loop (summerset loop) it's beginning to get really chewed up. Eventually National Parks will grade it then it will be easy. I wouldn't do it in my car without steel bash plates because it did bottom out a couple times
Love Mt Mee. Great place for a leaner to get some confidence. Plenty to see and do.
Sure is an awesome spot
Great ride guys, very funny! Glad I now know about that YETI cup! Loved this one, thanks for the laugh 😆 😂🤣
You know your a hardcore 4 wheel driver... when the YETI cup fits snug in the cup holder lol - love your enthusiasm guys - great video
Haha Yeti should sponsor us for that one 🤣
Sure was a fun trip, tracks are chewed up enough to make things interesting.
Nice video. That GV needs a lift so badly, please do it, it will make a night and day difference 😂
haha accept it is lifted 🤣
You should've seen it before the lift, then it really hit everything.

@@cra83 yeah it work in both but is much more effective in 4Lo. I would say it's actually annoying in 4hi Locked.
I've only been once. Are them some actually tough tracks out there. Don't want to risk defects if it's not too exciting
It's no where near as difficult as a place like the Glasshouse Mountains. There are some hard obstacles but they are few and far
@@FrenzyAdventures I go to Glasshouse often and was one of the crazies that drove Big Red lol!
Thanks! Might check it out again one day
@@bullantoffroad Very good. RIP big red, it is completely resurfaced now.
@@FrenzyAdventures saw that after it happened. Shame, was an awesome track to do
@@bullantoffroad yeah we stopped and watched people driving it a couple times. It's a shame so many tracks keep closing.
you rocking ATs on em or just HTs and hope for the best
I have the Fallen Wildpeak all terrain tyres.
